   Enjoyed the roasted beets with turmeric-tahini and pistachios, Greek salad, and seared sea bass. Food was very flavorful! Even better than I remember from a dinner last year.

   Poor reluctant service with bland food. Over an hour wait on food and no one checked until I asked and then waited another half hour. Turns out printer was broken and nobody cared to check. Water glasses stayed empty and place was not even busy. Server most likely racist because he intentionally ignored us for water and kept walking by us as if we were invisible. Bland food - branzino and salmon was dry and not seasoned at all. Calamari was overbreaded, salty and skinny. Manager tried to salvage the poor service which was the only positive thing but overall negative experience despite the nice view.

   The food was amazing especially the crab cakes & the service was very good. My only criticism is that our table was too small & very wobbly. We ordered 4 Mezze dishes to share & there was no room for anything else on our table so we had to put our bottle of Prosecco & bottle of water on the floor

    I enjoyed my overall visit here. I did not think the service was that great, the avo caviar roast was very basic my bread was a little burnt. The oysters were really good and so were the feta fries. Also the tzatziki sauce is delicious. The drinks were fine. I would recommend for the ambiance and views.

    The food was absolutely wonderful, our server was wonderful. The maître d’ and manager were subpar. I made reservations online over a week ago and to my surprise we were sat outside and then we were told that we had a time constraint, if we sat inside. Unfortunately that’s some thing that should be mentioned on the reservation on their site. Also outdoors and indoors should be an option when making a reservation. All in all my check was $830 and I left a generous tip of $200. They let us stay there over the time allotted. But goes to show you that if you spend money you can stay how are they going to throw someone out when they order a $500 bottle of Champagne.  if there is a time constraint it should be noted. It should be even keeled across-the-board not according to what you spend or what you don’t spend.

    The food and decor was instagrammy, that’s what you want right? That’s what I wanted. Their marketing drew me in and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing the drinks were tasty and the presentation was great. Service a but slow but our bill for 3 was 385 with tip so I’m glad we weren’t rushed. That’s with two apps three entrees and 6 alcoholic drinks. I wasn’t mad. The only weird thing is that people who live on a building walk through the restaurant outside part but you don’t even notice after a while. I would go back

    The ambience was great, the severs were very attentive. I had an issue with my order and the manager came and apologized and gave Mr something else, I was happy and pleased. Would highly recommend 👌

    One of the worst experiences, party of 5 was given a table for 4, the host said I'll be back with a chair never show her again. Server came over asked if we were ready to order while I'm still standing waiting for a chair. Food lacks flavor, oysters were not cleaned well , tuna tartar was full of raw onions, Branzino was super dry with no flavor. Ambiance felt you are at a busy diner, octupus was overcooked. Really regret I choose this restaurant to celebrate Mother's Day. Lesson learned.

    Poor service. Mediocre food. High prices. We came for brunch, asked to cook the eggs a little more, so the egg whites are not leaky. The answer was - you got what have on a menu. The eggs were not cooked they way we asked. The other small modifications to the menu dishes which was very easy to accommodate were also denied.

    Sit outdoors during sunset!! Beautiful ambiance and such a comfortable dining experience! The grilled octopus was definitely one of my favorites, as well as the squid ink lobster pasta! Good food and great drinks.

    Terrible experience here with the staff. Came in for Mothers day dinner Saturday. We were so excited to eat here because of the views, I made the reservation a week in advance. They couldn’t accommodate us with a normal table and sat us next to the ac/vent which was blowing hot air on me. When we asked to please move answer was a “no” they literally ruined my holiday. Rude hostess in the beginning and then the male manager. The female manager tried to salvage the situation in the end but we were done and we were over it and left. Would never return.

    Food looked tasted great. It was a bit busy and food and drinks took pretty long. The manager did come out while we were waiting on our second course to check on us. Had to flag down a server to get our check and leave. The ambiance was amazing though. Kyle wasn’t our server but he was helpful and sweet!

    Beautiful setting, inside and out. View of the river and ease of access was great. Food was very good - my husband loved the octopus dish, the paella that I had was awesome. Our family members had French Onion soup and the skirt steak. They said the soup was great but the steak was “ok”. Bartender made great Old Fashions. Service was a little rough. We had to ask to order, repeat drink orders we slow to be delivered. We were seated inside and away from most of the other patrons, so we felt forgotten… and maybe we were. We had a reservation for 7:00 and didn’t get out of there until 9:45, and not because we dallied. View of the sunset would have been spectacular from here whether inside or out. It was cloudy and very windy during our visit, so the sunset experience was handled differently by Mother Nature. Lastly, we had to ask for our bill. He brought a single copy, we signed and he took it away. We waited for our copy, and finally had to ask for our copy of the bill. Just felt weird that happened that way. Overall the food was very good. Our server could use a little polish. We enjoyed ourselves there, and we hope that they are successful!

    We are outside, and the music was blasting so loudly, we couldn’t hear each other. The waitress seemed overwhelmed. We had a lot of patience with her, but the attitude, huffiness, and comments she gave us were over the top. Asking for a napkin and some silverware was too much for her.     The place is pretty but small inside. It gets pretty noisy and if you’re sitting across from the kitchen, the fumes can bother you. Better to eat outside.

    We really loved Mezze, the vibrant decoration, hudson views, the mediterrean food and the staff hospitality was even better than the high expectations we had before arriving. A special thanks to Martha for being so kind and to the host that was also kind and special thanks to her! she store my phone, I forgot it and 15 minutes later came back and they where taking good care of it.

    My Experience at Mezze on the River was Fantastic! I went on a Saturday my reservation was for 2:30pm for 2ppl. The restaurant is small and there were several guests but it was not yet at capacity. I arrived early at 2:00 and informed the hostess my friend was running late, she offered me a seat at the bar or a table. I was very surprised she offered me to sit at a table , which I did and my friend unfortunately ended up being an hour late. The staff never hassled me about when she would arrived or giving up my table. I ordered 1 drink while I waited and once she arrived and we ordered our food. The food was DELICIOUS! Everything was so FRESH!! The staff was kind they checked on us ,but not too much just enough. I would absolutely return to this restaurant. 5 stars !!!
