We chose to eat at the bar and partake in Sips and Bites. We usually eat later than when Sips & Bites is offered; thus, we were prepared to order additional food or eat at home until bedtime! Well, there was no need to eat later as the portions together were perfect. Plus, the food was excellent, and it was nice to try wines that were paired with the dishes. The bar staff was very attentive and provided pertinent info about the wines and food. Sips & Bites will be on our dining rotation now!

The place was GREAT! From the door to the table to our server, the meal was excellent. Food was served just as ordered, hot and delicious. The chef, Robby Colson, is no joke. His food is second to none. He came to our table, upon request, and laughed and joked with us as if we were the only guests in the place. We drove up from Macon for the weekend and were so glad we went to Michael Anthony's. If you're in the area, you must stop in and dine. You will not regret it.

Stopped for sips & bites during our Hilton head semi annual trip. This was the best one yet. The pasta with pork was delicious as was the salmon with lemon berre blanc sauce. Too bad it was the last night for this particular offering because I would have come a second time. We are going again this week & hopefully it will be just as good.

Our first time at Michael Anthony’s. What a delight. Wonderful meals-the ravioli was excellent. Service was outstanding. Only problem—they let a customer bring in their pet dog and sat next to us. Not appropriate for this restaurant and the wonderful atmosphere/environment they have created.

First visit to MA's since year ago. Experience was excellent with one exception...the calamari appetizer was very disappointing. It was boiled in water and cherry tomatoes. The calamari had very fishy taste unlike fried calamari. The wait staff was excellent with service and professionalism. The beet salad, main entrees were stove hot when it arrived at our table. The tarimasu was to die for! Still a great choice even on rainy night!

Fantastic evening--everything was perfect. Really enjoyed the ambiance--fairly quiet even with a full room. Classy. Had the Surf and Turf special; it's been years since we've ordered that! Perfect portion size, nice display. Service was top notch and all in all, a great time.

Michael Anthony's transports you out of the "beach vibe" to a lovely, upscale Italian restaurant. Not pretentious in any way, but elegantly casual. The menu is incredibly authentic and the food is exceptional. We will definitely go back again and again!

We had an outstanding experience and meal. My pasta dish, the fusilli with sausage, wild mushrooms in a Gorgonzola cream sauce was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. My husband had the parpardelle with bolognese sauce and loved it. Our server was great. We come here whenever in Hilton Head and have always had a wonderful meal and service!

The food and service were good. There was a table of 8 loudly obnoxious women next to us that ruined our experience. We were in a classy restaurant and couldn’t carry on a conversation due to the noise. The staff was aware of the noise and didn’t do anything about it.

A dining experience that is very classy & hard to find! This is an upscale restaurant with white tablecloths, great atmosphere, great service, & Chef prepared dishes. I highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!
