The table of eight golfers who were very very loud ruined the evening. They had no respect for other diners or wait staff. Wish management would have controlled the situation!!!

I expected more from MA. It was over forty minutes from salad to main course and food was not as good as we had hoped it would be. One pasta dish was room temperature. Our server was fine but he had to keep assuring us that our dinners would arrive shortly. We will not be back.

We used to love Michael Anthony’s pre Covid. But after Covid we tried it and had just a so so meal. But we thought we’d give it another try. It was fantastic! Back to its usual delicious fare. We had salads and entrees and nothing disappointed. I would recommend to anyone who had a similar experience to us, to give it another try.

For my daughter’s birthday it couldn’t have been better. They added the nicest little touches to make it special. The food was phenomenal. Our waiter knew exactly when to stop by and see how we were doing. We will be back again.

My spouse and I had “Sips and Bites” at the bar which was excellent…3 wine samples and 3 samples of salad, pasta and entree. Each was delicious and an informative explanation of each by the bartender. We will definitely be back.

I do not return to restaurants that have menus resting on top of the silverware place settings. Menus are filthy. Do you ever sanitize them? Veal was good. Pasta was good. Potatoes undercooked and not seasoned. Service was fine.

If you love Italian, I strongly recommend Michael Anthony's! One of the best restaurants on the island! We are repeat customers, and chose for a birthday celebration. The staff made our visit special from the start. The menu and wine list is extensive, and the dishes were wonderful. Reservations are needed as Michael Anthony's is very popular, especially in season. If you love seafood, there were several fantastic choices - the seared scallops on risotto are a fav.

It was our first time eating at Michael Anthony's. It was an anniversary dinner for us. Upon being seated their was a table sign wishing us a happy anniversary. We booked our reservation online and indicated that is was our anniversary. Priscilla, our waitress, brought us 2 glasses of complimentary champagne and then took our drink and dinner selections. The food was absolutely delicious! We had no room for dessert, but Priscilla then brought complimentary Limoncello after dinner drinks. We will definitely be back.

Lovely restaurant, delicious food and wonderful service. We started with the beef carpaccio that had a wonderful blend of flavors. The lobster pasta was perfect from the lobster tail to the well-balanced sauce. The steak was cooked impeccably with a delicious crust. The tiramisu and panna cotta desserts were a perfect ending to this delicious meal!

We celebrated our birthdays, one week apart, and had a great time. We were greeted with a drink and a birthday sign on our table. The food and service was fantastic including the manager stopping by the table. Our server, Hunter was one of the best I’ve experienced in many years.

Another wonderful dinner at Michael Anthony’s. Every meal at our table of four was excellent. The pork chop special was outstanding, as was the tagliatelle, bolognese and veal scallopini. Our server Priscilla Jean was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable! We’ll be back soon.

Pre-dinner. Saw everyone else getting bread and olive oil. We had to ask our server and he brought it out at the same time as the appetizers. Appetizers: caprese was good. Dinner: 1) sardi alla sardignola- pasta was chewy and no hint of crumbled sausage, overall disappointing; 2) capesante risotto al parmigano- excellent. 3) tagliatelle al neri-pasta was a little over cooked otherwise seafood was great. Communicated our concerns with server on entree #1, he said that he would take it off the bill but that didn’t happen. Dessert: tiramisu and gelato were fine and no issues. Overall, a little disappointed compared to our expectations but otherwise an okay restaurant. I think our server was new and that may have been one of the problems.

It's been several years since I dined at Michael Anthony's. Except for an excellent waiter, I was very disappointed. I had the squid ink pasta, a favorite dish of mine. The pasta was undercooked and gummy with no flavor. The sauce was under seasoned with no hint of spice, no flavor. For the price I expected more shellfish. Three of my friends had the Bolognese. Over sauced, frankly never seen anything like this. They ate all the pasta and plan to cook up some pasta at home and have another serving. The salads were very good our waiter, Hunter was very professional and charming. I don't know what happened in the kitchen but I've already cancelled a reservation we had in 2 weeks with visiting friends. Sorry.

Hate to report, but experience this year was less impressive than last year at this time. First, we had a 5:45pm reservation and arrived a bit early. Despite many open tables in the main dining area, we were led to the furthest corner table in the back ‘wine’ room. I should have asked for a different table but my husband usually gets annoyed when I do that. Only after we completed dinner, he said he wished I had asked for a new table. Go figure. Service was reasonably good. Menu was as expected. Pear salad palatable, but not flavorful. I opted for a shell pasta which had a nice sauce, but the pasta was chewy, obviously undercooked. I ate around the pasta and explained to server my concern. The manager arrived and confirmed my experience, apologized and took the meal off our bill. My husband’s veal was fatty and the entire plate was drowned in gravy, which was flavorful but overdone. Considering our dining location and food experience, we were anxious to leave. But decided to try the molten cake as dessert. I’m a chocoholic and usually LOVE this dessert, but my first bite had hints of burned cake. Very disappointing. Needless to say, we will not be back next year. I hope this information will be helpful to management.
