    Not sure what was going on today, but service was poor and food was mediocre at best. I had the lasagna and it tasted like it was reheated in the microwave. My Bloody Mary was horrible. Too bad-

    We sat at the bar and sean was the bartender. we really enjoyed our time. food was great and ambience was awesome. we were celebrating my boyfriends birthday and sean gave us espresso martini shots on the house and it made it really special.

    Everything was great except for the mosquitoes at the outdoor table. They really can use some spray to keep the mosquitoes away from the outdoor tables

    We had a double date night with another couple here last night. The rating got some points deducted due to our seating arrangement and length of service. A few things were OUTSTANDING: which was the Chicken with mushrooms risotto and their mussles. We originally had a reservation at a table for 6:15 but the table was so uncomfortable we moved to the bar and I am happy we did bc we were notified the minute we checked in for our reservation we were told we needed to be out by 8. We understand but its a tad off putting on top of the fact that our entres were SO delayed they brought out a complimentary appetizer for us to share which was also 10/10 delish- the calamari. Our bartender saved the night and took amazing care of us and their non-alcoholic beverages were super yummy. So overall some high and low points that affected the score.

    We had to wait 30 min to get seated even though we had made a reservation in advance, ans we were seated outside and away from the restaurant on the street. Then it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive, and we’re not sure if the allergy we requested, for a dish to be gluten free, if that was done.

    The food was absolutely delicious — our server was a gem and made our anniversary so special!!! We had the duck wings, focaccia, the pasta amatriciana, and pistachio ice cream. They were all to die for. Would come back every week if we could!

    Food as always was incredible. Service was slow and the table we got outside was by the flower pots which is totally ok except that they are not well maintained and were poking my friend’s head the whole night.

    Dined there last night. Had outdoor seats. Ambulance and police sirens and booming car radios made conversation a challenge. Food, with the exception of the fritto misto, was not great - focaccia saturated with oil; clam pasta swimming in oil. Long waits between courses. Extremely disappointing. Nonetheless, will try the MIDA in Newton in a few weeks, Hopefully the food and ambience will be better.

    The food is incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection, and they also have a great cocktail and mocktail list. The atmosphere is quiet and sophisticated. Would highly recommend.

    Always a great experience at MIDA. All the pasta dishes are amazing. Tried the fried calamari - the addition of fried lemon was delicious! The carrot side was also outstanding. But these best is the service - always top level. And don’t forget the pistachio gelato!!

    Wow! We absolutely loved Mida. We arrived a half hour late due to terrible traffic. They seated us without a problem. We explained we had to leave in 50 minutes to get to a play at the Huntington Theater. They put our order on priority and got us out in time. The Caesar Salad was one of the best we have ever had - crunchy lettuce, delicious dressing, not over or under dressed. My Arancini were absolutely the best I have ever had and I order them frequently when they are on the menu. My husband said his chicken on a mushroom risotto was great and I loved my Eggplant Parmesan. Their tomato sauces are delicious - different one on the Arancini and Eggplant -but both excellent. Their wine list has lots of choice. Our waiter was wonderful about the fact that we were in a hurry. Also wonderful, they are walking distance from the Huntington Theater and Symphony Hall. We most certainly will go back.

    Had not been to Mida for a while but it was a very happy return. The food and service were excellent, the drinks were great. As an added plus food allergies were listed and its gluten friendly which is great for an Italian restaurant Will definitely return more than once.

    Visited with my son and wife and we weren't as impressed as I would have thought from the reviews. The Frito Misto was great but the entrees and pasta, other than the Eggplant Parmesan weren't amazing. I expected more clams in the Vongole and Gnocchi was meh. Service and ambience was great though.

    Service was very slow. Took them almost twenty minutes to bring us water and take our order. Food was excellent. Ambience was a little annoying. Was outside in front of a stop light and must of seen six different ambulances drive by. Their was plants on the iron fence that all sorts of bugs and flies.

    What a wonderful dinner at MIDA! I wish I could remember our waiter’s name, he was amazing and we had such a special evening. The food was fantastic and the sauces were delicious. Our waiter was attentive, fun and provided excellent service. We will be back and look forward to another great dining experience at MIDA! Thank you!!
