My girlfriend and I had an amazing lunch date thanks to everyone at Midland Social making everything perfect. We enjoyed the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer and it was absolutely delicious! The shrimp was perfectly fried (beautiful light golden color) and the shrimp was cleaned and deveined perfectly. The freshness of the shrimp and the garnish on the shrimp really brought out the unique flavors. We also both enjoyed the B.E.L.T. The sandwich is well crafted as the yolk mixed with the spicy brown sugar bacon create a wonderful sweet/salty taste. It was a hearty sandwich that was simple but so tasty and well executed. Thank you all at the Midland Social for creating such a perfect experience.

The food was generally good, the prices are high for what it is. My only negative comments was the service...I ordered soup and appetizer for my meal. I asked for soup first then shrimp as the main entree. They both came out together. Why can restaurants never get this right?

Lunch didn't seem to draw in a big crowd, but it should. The service was top notch asking about food allergies and paying close attention to our needs. The food was good. Even though my grilled chicken sandwich was a little dry, the sauce and coleslaw helped with overall flavor. I would go back.

Promptly greeted and seated, although the hostess ignored our request made thru Open Table for a high top. Tables are close together and despite there being open space elsewhere, we were led to a table with diners already seated on either side. We wedged in. Ordered the butter lettuce salad at the recommendation of the server. I requested chicken be added, my colleague asked for the salmon be ordered to hers. Salads arrive, both with chicken. Server apologized, making some excuse about the ticket not printing correctly. Whatever. Salad might have been good, but was absolutely drowning in dressing. Bacon was largely absent too. So many other great choices in the loop. Go elsewhere.

This is an outstanding new healthy alternative to the loop dining scene. They have great vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and other alternatives. It is an eclectic menu with delicious food. Bravo!

Midland Social Club has suitable spacing of tables and high backed chairs to make a business meal sufficiently private. The food is interesting and tasty, the service is helpful but not hovering. I'll go back for more meals in the coming year.

The Midland Social Club is a unique restaurant tucked away. When you walk into the foyer, you walk up to some heavy, ornate double doors that automatically open for you. It’s almost like a “secret club” you enter. The food was good and prices seemed a bit pricey for the limited menu but it is downtown Chicago so this certainly was not a surprise. Food was good, hot and served promptly.

The Midland is a good place for lunch in the center city. The BLT was a fresh and crisp sandwich and was delicious. The salmon was a bit dry but the chopped salad with chopped Brussels sprouts was very tasty. The mixed grain bowl with quinoa and brown rice needed more flavoring.

Our server and the kitchen was very accommodating. But my salad was very soggy and the bun was burned on one of the lobster rolls. It was a fun atmosphere but not everyone loved their meals.

Inside the W hotel the restaurant setting couldnt be finer - the ornate, galleried libby of a former bank. The adjacent bar sits prominently in this atrium-like area. Very cool.

Roc was downtown and called for lunch ..... She called a requested lunch at Midland Social Club She order the same item from the menu again, a salad with a piece of salmon ... The salad dressing was made of ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce, and honey..... that's how they make a dressing for Rochelle. The salmon was place on the top the salad. Wow! Shalom
