Our server was great... personable, knowledgeable, and knew when to engage us.
Delicious birthday lunch. Had a variety of dishes to share. Nice hot tea. Cucmber juice was freshly made. The food is fantastic here and so is the staff. Very Covid friendly.
Thee best first experience I have ever had. We celebrated my partners birthday and from the service to the food and atmosphere, they’ve exceeded my expectations above and beyond. Truly exquisite food and outstanding service. I recommend their kaiseki menu to try at least once!
Food was delicious as always! It can be quite pricy but the location is beautiful, ambiance is nice and the food is outstanding! We ordered 2 Premium Sushi Lunch, a salmon oshi sushi and a yuzu mango cheesecake! Everything was delicious. The only complaint is that the service was not great for the price that you’re paying to dine here. Our waiter wasn’t attentive, didn’t make any recommendations, wasn’t personable and we weren’t offered any green tea. We remember the service being outstanding in the past so this was a little disappointing.
Pricy but worth it. Sushi is the best. Are doing a good job with social distancing.
Excellent as usual! Food and service were top notch.
Excellent tasting menu, would definitely go back, highly recommend.
Everything was Perfect.
It’s always a pleasure to go there
Came here from out of town after reading up on it for my partner's birthday. Absolute the best sushi I have ever had in my entire life topped with phenomenal service. The server even bought her a desert for her birthday. Would recommend this place to everyone.
Too much mayo and stickiness in most sushi. Sashimi was really fresh of high quality though. Prawn Fritters were not nice at all, batter way too thick!
Had a delicious lunch with my family. Food is very fresh, absolutely delicious and the presentation (especially the desserts) rocks!
It’s been a wonderful dinner but bec of the unfortunate current situation, the menu has been change. Overall the staff are friendly, food are freshly delicious and great selection of wine. And our server Allen is wonderful. We’re obviously coming back!
Best sushi I ever had. Would recommend it to anyone
Not the best lunch- we won’t be back. The sushi was okay covered in dairy sauces, not fresh or traditional.
10/10 but very very expensive! The view is amazing the food is fresh and tasty!
Always delicious- best sushi in Vancouver!
Enjoy eat !!
One of the greatest sushi we ever had outside of Japan. Aburi cuisine was an incredible new discovery for us. Amazing service. Needs to add a few classic ingredients somewhere in their menu such as sea urchin and salmon roe. Ambiance and music volume were fine. Great choice of sakes, especillay the Aburi Ginjo (exclusive label)
Expectations were high from my Toronto experience with Miku’s, but unfortunately the Vancouver visit was not on par.
They were running a little behind when we arrived, which is understandable, but we were asked to wait outside next to a homeless man whom was unleashing his anger with the current state of affairs at nearby passers.
A crowd of concerned staff had gathered in the front and were staring at the angry man...why we were asked to stand outside next to him is beyond me. I respect times have changed with Covid and the homeless are people too, but if the staff felt uneasy than surely their guests would. Only after objecting were we accepted back inside for a reservation running late.
The night was more uneventful thereafter, but the service was bland and without personality, and the waiter found it troublesome to elaborate on the variety of sushi and sashimi my date would have liked more information on.
Although, I enjoyed the food, I did not find the experience and the price to be worth the trouble.
We may have arrived at the wrong place and the wrong time with the pandemic, but we took the time out of our schedule for a date at Miku’s and a little hospitality would have been an excellent companion to the meal.
In a word fantastic What really needs to be said that hasn’t been said a million times. There is no doubting that Miku is one of if not the number one sushi restaurant in the city of Vancouver ( sorry Tojo )
Absolutely fantastic food and service, exceeded my already high expectations.
It’s a must do
Delicious food, wonderful service. We’ll be back every time we come back to Vancouver!
The foods really good and the environment is nice
The restaurant was lovely, food was delicious and our server was super nice and efficient!!!
The food and service was wonderful! The ambiance was not. We were seated at a round table near the food preparation counter. It was far too bright and I felt like I was eating in a cafeteria. We asked for the light to be dimmed at our table. I would return and look for better seating!
We have been to Miku several times and all our visits have been wonderful! Must haves include the ebi fritters, salmon oishi and chicken nanban.
Service was mediocre, staff was not very attentive.
This is the first time I have returned to Miku in a couple of years. The menu was different and this could be related to the Pandemic, but I much preferred the previous menu had some main dishes that were excellent and no longer on this menu. Also, previously the room was darker and you felt like you were in a fancier Japanese restaurant, it felt more like a diner which could again be related to the Pandemic and how they have rearranged the space.
As always Miku was a great experience and the food was impeccable!
I sat on the heated patio (early Oct) which wasn't too chili but definitely needed a light coat/sweater - the view is spectacular of the water/mountains. The food is amazing- some of the best sushi i've ever had. But also had lots of appetizers, the noodles, shrimp etc and all was very very good. Would definitely go back. A bit pricey (particularly on glasses of wine)
Great experience! The staff is super friendly and the food is great. Thank you all.
The food is amazing. It was worth the price you pay. Addition to that is they have the best service!
As always excellent quality.
Great patio, food and service. Already planning my next visit!
Definitely coming back!
It was my first time visiting Vancouver, and I was looking for a place that had the best sushi in the city. I got the platter with 10 different sushi’s for $40. The sushi was excellent (best I’ve ever had) and the price was reasonable. I definitely want to try the location in Toronto!
what an awesome place to celebrate my wife and myself's Birthdays!!
Amazing food and great service. I love the magnificent dessert choices.
Finally an authentic Japanese restaurant with top notch sushi!
