The food was really good. I ordered the Lunch Shokai that came with a variety of different types of sushi to try, along with appetizers as well. It was really nice for someone like me who likes to try different things. The person who brought us our food also told us what each sushi was, which was a lot of words, but really highlighted how detailed they were on food presentation. The waitress was nice, but below average for what I would expect from a higher-end restaurant. I’ve received better service from restaurants who offer food at a fraction of the price. I also added a special occasion note, allergy restrictions, and a seating request on my “special requests”, but clearly no one took note because none of these were acknowledged / had to be asked again during my visit.

Excellent service and ambiance. Even better food. Will I ever be able to eat at another sushi restaurant??? Too good. Our server helped us make decisions on what to order and we couldn’t have been happier. Every bite was an experience We had the brusells sprouts and the Premium and Lunch Shokai. Highly recommended.

We were really lucky to be seated by the window, and we were able to watch the sunset over the water, which really made for a perfect evening with friends. We had a wonderful server, I believe his name was David, he was from Columbia and he was most helpful for suggestions, and everything was simply divine. We dined on a variety of appetizers and a main course of steak and sushi between us with the lovely house, specialty dessert and white chocolate cheesecake and some refreshing Mojito beverages. The flavours were exceptional and the service was excellent.

Miku was a fantastic dining experience. The salmon sushi was the best I’ve ever had and their lobster and mussel risotto was absolutely delicious! Our server was perfect….helpful and available but not overbearing. Would definitely go again and again…if I lived in Vancouver!

fresh seafood and excellent presentation. Restaurant next to habor with scenic view. Menu has good selection to meet all tastes, although the portions are small. It is definitely worth the experience of authentic Japanese restaurant. The sushi and sashimi are must try to taste the freshness of the sea.

My partner and I had the best time having dinner at Miku. For our first time there, I asked if we could have a table with a view and we did! The ambiance and service were top notch. We were expecting to order sushis but got seduced by the duck breast and rib steak on the menu and it was truly delicious. The ingredients (mushrooms, miso, eggplant...) tasted better than I ever tasted them before. Then, we still ordered one portion of sushis just out of curiosity and it tasted like heaven. We will be back by ourselves and also if we have guests we want to impress!

Date with my wife (42 years married) on our way to LA for a cruise. Stop over in Vancouver for the night. Had a very memorable meal. The food is amazing. Took our time and savored every bite. Ambiance, service and food all 10/10!!!

not the quality that I expected in this price range. I think the price is for the atmosphere not for the food. and if some menu is out of season, you should take it out from the menu. I ordered an uni nigiri because it's on the menu and it was horrible. 1 piece of uni nigiri is 15 cad. boiled ebi nigiri were not in a good shape either. it was dry. Some rolls and oshis were delicious. I like how they cook the rice. I think micro management is required for better experience.

The lunch menu is well appointed and there is a lot of variety to satiate your culinary curiosity. I have been a long time patron of the restaurant and in the many years since; I have brought friends, family, both local and overseas visitors to enjoy Miku Restaurant. The ambience, service and most of all the food, is always outstanding. We had a great time on my last visit and my date was impressed with the food, she honestly agreed with me that Miku is now her favourite Restaurant.
