Amazing sushi and great service!!
The set menu was delicious, and paved perfectly. The staff were courteous and prompt. Our server Kana was fantastic and provided a level of service I haven’t gotten anywhere else!
Christina was our server , super friendly and nice . We enjoy our night . Thank you for saving us a spot , host was great too
A good restaurant in Vancouver. For it is a Japanese restaurant, the dish is really delicate and small amount. But it tastes good. For summer, there would be some small insects in the hall. If you mind that, consider about other restaurants.
I love this restaurant. It is set up so well for dining and social distancing and I'll go back again soon. The meal was delicious and beautifully plated!
If you're craving excellent Japanese food with creative and elegantly-plated dishes, very friendly attentive service, and bonus impressive panoramas of Canada Place and the North Shore mountains, you'll love Miku.
Special honours go to their desserts which were not just appetizing, but were also works of art as you can see from the attached pics.
One cautionary note. You pay for the privilege of eating at this very fine establishment, which shouldn't be too shocking given its DT waterfront location, upscale ambiance, and extremely well-prepared food.
Ebi Fritters (a favourite)
Brussels Sprout Chips
Oshi Aburi Sampler (6pc)
Miku Roll (8pc)
Red Wave Roll (8pc)
Yuzu Mango Cheesecake
2 Scoops of White Peach, and Coconut & Passion Fruit Sorbet (another favourite)
We drank no alcohol and the bill with a good tip came to approx. $135.
They also have a Set Menu option with 4, 5 or 6 courses including special dishes not typically found on the regular menu. We didn't opt for that, but the table next to us did and their dishes looked mouth-watering.
If you're hungry for sushi and seeking the best bang for the buck then Miku is not your best option. BUT, if you're a quality-over-quantity gourmet who appreciates fresh, well-prepared, visually-appealing food served in a fine dining environment, then you will definitely leave Miku with a smile on your face, and in your tummy.
Best sushi in downtown Vancouver! Definitely recommend trying the Shokai Lunch.
Very good food, with nice staff. Hard to go wrong here.
Overall everything was exceptional
Great food, even better service. Quality 100%
I accidentally booked the wrong day but they were super accommodating even though they were super busy. Superb meal, friendly staff drinks were expensive $15 for a 5oz glass of wine!
Lovely experience! Me and my girlfriend had so much fun! The waiter was amazing! I’ll definitely to enjoy the delicious sushi
Dinner with a close friend. Her first time out to a restaurant in awhile. Food was excellent. We both felt very safe. We sat outside but there were overhead space heaters as it was a bit chilly that night. Sashimi just as fresh as ever and the oshii was so delicious.
Magical evening. Caring staff, fabulous plates, delicious wine. We took the earlier reservation and took our time and did not feel pressured or rushed to leave.
The sushi and service were both excellent. I would highly recommend the Miku signature selection to get to try a variety of things.
One of the best meals we had on our recent trip to Vancouver. Excellent!
Lenny was the best server!
We went for dinner and was sat near a window seat, the views were amazing as we caught the sunset. The food was superb and delicious. The price was on the higher end but worth every penny. 10/10 would come back and bring friends or a loved one for a date night/hangout.
Food is always amazing here. This was my third time coming back and it didn't disappoint. Everyone needs to try the Aburi sushi.
Excellent meal and service
Made reservation 2 days ago, and we got a table with a great view. Great food as well
It was a very good experience, tried tasting menu and would go again.
I had a great experience at Miku Restaurant. Their dishes were unique and delicious, the staff were very accommodating, and the view of the harbor was great. Definitely expect to spend at least $60 for a full meal, but the quality makes it all worth it.
We were there for our 19th anniversary and I had requested the patio and was disappointed that we had a street view and not a water view
You have to call them to get the table on seaside. OpenTable app reservation doesn't allow to access to seaside. It's ridiculous rule.
Great service ambiance and location. Food was good, but not exceptional!
Had different appetizers to get a variety. All the food was wonderful.
Advice on desserts from our server was very helpful to my sister. A totally wonderful experience on the patio with our Vancouver waterfront.
Food was great, view was the cruise ship dock of the convention centre and harbour. Service was as good as the food
One of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver. Food is always excellent. Service is always great. Great location. Management has done an adequate job with physical distancing the customers. Only thing I dislike is the amount of flies in and around the restaurant. Seems to be a constant problem every time I visit.
We had a reservation at 8pm in the patio with harbour view and we were the first who showed up at the place (at 7:50). Not only they made us wait for 15 minutes n didn’t give us a table but also they gave tables to other people who also had reservations for 8 o’clock for “patio”! And when we asked the reason, they just simply lied to us and told us that those people took a table inside which later we’ve seen those people in the patio as well! The employee just lied to us for no reason which was a really unprofessional way of responding to customers and is such a shame for a restaurant like Miku! What’s more disappointing is that after wasting our time for 15 minutes, they gave us a table which barely had a harbour view n mostly street view and this was after calling and emphasizing that we would like to have a table with harbour view! (Not to mention that we made a reservation over 2 weeks ago and noted that we need a table with harbour view). Overall, we had a very disappointing experience at Miku restaurant, and we didn’t expect that from such a place like that!
Our server “Lenny” was outstanding as always! Thanks for another great Miku-experience!
We were celebrating our 20th anniversary. I loved that I was able to reserve a table on the patio as most restaurants work on a first come basis for outdoor seating, so I was very impressed with that option! We had the perfect table for this occasion with a beautiful view, the service was impeccable and the food worth every penny! Our green tea opera dessert was to die for!!! Overall I give it a 10!!!
Service was on or, the food was fresh and top quality. Our every question thoroughly answered and our drinks were never empty, server was funny and was always available.
Food was delicious despite not having our favorite chirashi tart on the menu any more. Patio provided a cool breeze to enjoy the meal.
Although the service was nice, there were flies all over the restaurant and a peculiar smell. My husband says it is pricey for what it is.
Miku's team was well equipped for socially distanced dining. The food was top notch and didn't miss a beat. The atmosphere was great and the team has thoughtfully selected the best seats in the house for the limited seating.
Incredible service and food. Really outstanding !
Ladies night out- amazing meal. Aburi is dream worthy. Especially the Ebi with the lime zest. Highly recommend. Plus: toro toro toro!!
This place is one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life
