    Miku is easily one of the best dining experiences of my life. From the amazing food to the delightful staff and everything in between, it’s a complete pleasure to dine at Miku. My words cannot do justice to their menu. We enjoyed the Kaiseki menu. The superb quality of fish and interesting flavour combinations, has cemented this restaurant as a favourite for us. We had our 5 month old son with us. They accommodated our meal to his schedule, slowing or speeding up based on his temperament. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Our waitress was sweet with our son and had fantastic menu recommendations. It’s just amazing. You need to go.

    What has happened at Miku!? It has been many months since I last ate there, but had a business lunch there yesterday. Everyone at the table chose the Shokai. There were less starter plates (2 instead of the 4 I remember from before) and then the sushi was bland and tasteless. The sushi rice was dry and unappetizing. So disappointing, as I used to love Miku. The service was fantastic, so this is all about the food.

    Great space, great views. We found the appetizers delicious but small, the nigiri excellent and our favorite by far, the specialty rolls mediocre and the pressed sushi good but not great. The reputation outpaced the reality - but still a nice meal.

    If you like world class service, fabulous food, and a spectacular dining experience then you need to book your table at Miku! We went there for sushi, and we found so much more! Our starters were grilled lamb chops (great sauce), calamari (great sauce), and seared scallops (great sauce)! Then we each had one of their "food flights", available in a 6-Courses (items selected by the chef from the menu) and then in 7-Courses (items special from the chef that are not on the menu) and we were thrilled from beginning to end of the creativity, flavor, sauces, and the variety from Wagyu Beef, amazing fresh fish and sushi, to seared fish, and more! I would definitely recommend this restaurant for so many things, and very noteworthy was the superb service that we enjoyed throughout our entire dining experience! Thanks!

    The salmon oshi (aburi sushi) is so outstanding in flavour and texture. It's a culinary delight that I try to take in any chance I get to Vancouver. The service and restaurant location on the water are also devine.

    Our server Henry was amazing, one of the most personable and effortless servers I’ve had in a long time! He made the whole experience even better. The food was amazing too, although I was not that big of a fan of the surf & turf roll. But overall, 5/5 stars!

    Nothing but praise for this awesome restaurant. Met a local couple on an Alaskan cruise and they highly recommended. Everything was incredible and can’t wait to get back to Vancouver to eat here again. Special shout out to our great server, Christina, and one of the managers, Aaron for taking such great care of my dad. We appreciate you!

    Felt the main courses were ‘westernised’ too much - mashed potato in a Japanese restaurant! Sushi fabulous, as were scallops. Service attentive. Their affiliated restaurant in Yaletown is better.

    Really good aburi sushi, appetizers and desserts! And such a great atmosphere and service. I bring guests to Vancouver to this restaurant when I want the reaction to be WOW! The only thing I wish that they had is recommended “sets” of sushi.

    The Waterfront tasting menu was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicate, fresh and unique, well worth the experience. The service was very fast, almost too quick as we felt a bit rushed, but we were also eager to try the next delicacies!

    We celebrated our 5 years anniversary with our newlywed friends here. We were seated by the windows and treated to a gorgeous view of the water at sunset. We did the seven course tasting menu and it was worth every penny - we were stuffed at the end of it, well paced, and I will dream of the toro sashimi til the end of my days. Our waiter also made a special effort when presenting dessert, which was so appreciated. Overall an amazing experience!

    The sushi was incredible. They also had a good variety of other appetizers that we enjoyed including the lobster ceviche, pan seared scallops and wagyu carpaccio. You can’t go wrong with dining here.

    Had a lovely dinner for a milestone birthday of mine - the salmon and the prawn aburi are the best I have ever tasted and highly recommend it to anyone! Truly love the food here. Our server was fabulous. My only comment is that I did mention it was my milestone birthday when booking online, and the server wished me a happy birthday, but I am a bit surprised that there was not even a treat or discount on anything we purchased. Unusual to see in this city. (You could always ask for ID if you feel people are scamming you about a special celebration?) I will still be back though! Yum!
