    Felt the main courses were ‘westernised’ too much - mashed potato in a Japanese restaurant! Sushi fabulous, as were scallops. Service attentive. Their affiliated restaurant in Yaletown is better.

    Really good aburi sushi, appetizers and desserts! And such a great atmosphere and service. I bring guests to Vancouver to this restaurant when I want the reaction to be WOW! The only thing I wish that they had is recommended “sets” of sushi.

    Best Japanese Food ever! Very friendly and warmhearted service. Just excellent! You should open a restaurant in Zürich, Switzerland. We would eat there at least once a week!😊

    The Waterfront tasting menu was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicate, fresh and unique, well worth the experience. The service was very fast, almost too quick as we felt a bit rushed, but we were also eager to try the next delicacies!

    We celebrated our 5 years anniversary with our newlywed friends here. We were seated by the windows and treated to a gorgeous view of the water at sunset. We did the seven course tasting menu and it was worth every penny - we were stuffed at the end of it, well paced, and I will dream of the toro sashimi til the end of my days. Our waiter also made a special effort when presenting dessert, which was so appreciated. Overall an amazing experience!

    The sushi was incredible. They also had a good variety of other appetizers that we enjoyed including the lobster ceviche, pan seared scallops and wagyu carpaccio. You can’t go wrong with dining here.

    Had a lovely dinner for a milestone birthday of mine - the salmon and the prawn aburi are the best I have ever tasted and highly recommend it to anyone! Truly love the food here. Our server was fabulous. My only comment is that I did mention it was my milestone birthday when booking online, and the server wished me a happy birthday, but I am a bit surprised that there was not even a treat or discount on anything we purchased. Unusual to see in this city. (You could always ask for ID if you feel people are scamming you about a special celebration?) I will still be back though! Yum!

    Great food, great view of the harbor, and a little too loud with a lot of people. But good food will definitely bring me back. Highly recommend the Uni Spoon and the Wagyu sushi.

    Very expensive for mediocre food. My guest ordered the set menu and that was good but my meal was not good and too little. Cost $300 for two people and I barely ate. Will not go back

    The food was really exceptional but we were seated almost 15 minutes late for our reservation and then sat and waited for another 10 till someone came to our table and then were told the kitchen was only going to be open for 30 more minutes. Our server did her best to make up for it but not a great feeling to have when one is sitting down to a $300+ meal. It’s also got kind of a chilly, corporate feel aesthetically. Worth going for the sushi which was phenomenal.

    Miku was a phenomenal experience. Our waiter, Andy, was so exceptionally helpful and even recommended us some option that ended up being beyond amazing. We celebrated our anniversary there & we can’t wait to go back for a date night!

    Miku has been our go to spot for amazing Japanese since it’s Coal Harbor days. Over the years the creative and innovative menu has taken us on a culinary journey. Miku continues to keep its high standard of a fresh and creative take on Japanese cuisine.

    Avoid! Ghastly experience. Overpriced stale commercial sushi. Wrong orders served to us. Watery Pepsi from a tap. Far better sushi options in other places in town. The worst gomae salad I have ever had. No apology from the manager for our awful experience (even though it was my wife’s birthday and we had messaged previously about this to request a birthday dessert). Really poor manager/management, service and kitchen.
