   Great vibe. On the water. Will be back. But be forewarned that a tap beer = $15/glass! Super shocking and the dinner portions are huge. Great service.

   Server started out by saying the kitchen was 45 minutes behind. She was NOT very attentive, rushed and curt. The worst part was my fries were completely inedible, burnt to a crisp and hard. No alcohol but bill came to 100 dollars. The nicest part of this restaurant is the view

    Great spot for outdoor/indoor dining in Gloucester! Creative menu, great service and an awesome view whether you eat in or out. Ahi tuna bowl app was terrific as was the green bean goat cheese salad. Swordfish cooked perfectly!

    The ambience will keep me coming back. The hostesses need tons more training. We sat 45 mins after our reservation after they gave our table away by accident twice mind you while we were sitting at the bar waiting for our table. Food is OK, drinks are OK tasting, they try to have mixology type cocktails, at least the are strong.

    Overall a perfect place for us last night… the best thing was that we’re able to get a reservation almost last mi Ute on Friday of Memorial Day weekend! Service was excellent, food very good (with some unique local options), water view over the river and marina was very nice. A little expensive, but everything is these days. We’d go back in a heartbeat!

    We did not stay for our reservation as it here was live music in bar and it was way too loud for enjoyable conversation with out of town friends. Beware this is the case every Wednesday night inside.

    Mile Marker One is wonderful! We both had special seafood dishes that were very creative. She had a pesto-crusted Cod. It was really really tasty, and very fresh. We both wished it was a bit more pesto-y but it’s freshness was its highlight. She raved over the grilled tomatoes served with it. I had the chili-lime swordfish, and again it couldn’t be fresher. Swordfish is seldom described as delicate, but the swordfish was lighter than usual, delicious! I will say the seasoning somewhat overshadowed the swordfish. This was served with a lobster-street corn salad that was amazing! Both dishes had mashed potatoes and asparagus, so much that we took some home. We did start with a Caesar salad that was big enough to share, and we did. The wine list, although not particularly large, was diverse with good selections across a wide range of varieties. Dessert was a brownie sundae that was to die for. Service was phenomenal, friendly and quick, almost too quick. One complaint I that was charging $6 for bread and butter. This has become more and more common, and it is a cost to the restaurant, but the price point is absurd, just too damn much money to charge for something that costs you 69 cents.

    Always a great meal at mile marker one! Service too everyone is smiling and it’s a great place to go especially in the summer! Appetizer clam were, delicious, Caesar salad was excellent (perfect amount of dressing and flavor., horseradish haddock and chicken Milanese also amazing!  Everyone there work super hard and make sure that you have a wonderful experience. Looking forward to next week’s visit!

    Service was absolutely horrible and no brunch/breakfast past 11:30 on Mother's Day Sunday? We waited 30 minutes just to get water brought to our table and give a drink order. Didn't say anywhere on the website what time they stopped serving breakfast/brunch. Food was good but family was expecting brunch.

    Good food and great views of the harbor. We were seated in a corner table and didn’t get any service for 25 minutes until the manager came and he took our order. We were told they were short on help. The manager, once he took our order, was conscientious and made sure we were getting our meal. Perhaps the fact it was a Saturday night resulted in this situation. Also, the location of the table set us apart from the mainstream.

    The service was very attentive, cocktail (Old Fashioned) a bit weak, food was average-nothing to be excited about. I had the oyster wedge salad and it was good, but nothing to write home about. The area surrounding the restaurant is under construction so the entire outside area leading into the restaurant is messy right now.

    Great place for family dining. The igloos were so much fun and a great way to have privacy as well as the benefit of the beautiful water views. The service was fantastic as our server Kate went the extra mile and was always available to meet our parties needs. The food was delicious with ample portion sizes and wonderful presentations. If we were local, we would dine at Mile Marker One more often, but we are lucky to do so several times a year and have never been disappointed. Great Place!!

    Nice restaurant with good service, but really over-priced now with small quantities of food and drink. Very disappointed..... Not what is used to be at all which is why is what quite empty on a Saturday night. Sadly, we will not return.

    Birthday celebration was near perfect. Service was great, “Igloos” were warm, comfortable and bright. My only complaint is about the mussels: they were too big and a bit undercooked. They needed more salt or garlic. This place is one of my favorites!
