Milestones Grill + Bar - CrossIron Mills
It's the passion in our recipes that makes a visit to Milestones truly unforgettable. Whether you come for a favourite meal or love trying new and trendy dishes, Milestones is all about great food without the pretension. We're an impromptu meeting place for friends and a cozy spot for date nights. We're familiar and friendly, but always on the cutting-edge. We're nights to remember and remarkable flavours to savour. That's how we set the table at Milestones. Be part of the story...
The receptionist did not know we have a reservation and did not inform the waitress that we are vegan. It was ok considering it could be a long day for them. However, the waitress forget we ordered vegan burgers and we were waiting for 15 mins already after we were through with our soups and salads. I had to call the attention of the waitress and she mentioned she totally forgot our order. It was very disappointing. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary but had to wait longer because the waitress forgot our main dishes.
The food was cold, server forgot our appetizers.
Not worth it
Ashley the server was very good - exceptional. Very real!!!
Another great meal at Milestones, I will definitely being eating there again!
Dinner was great and the service our waitress Bailey provided was terrific. It was a really nice experience to spend our New Years Eve Dinner (We received gift cards and chose MIlestones above the others offered on the card and glad we did).
We started out with the Asian Bites and Coconut Calamari. My main course was the Baja Fish tacos and my partner had the Seafood sirloin! Delicious!
Amazing service!! Great overall experience
Was thr first time there and we will go back, the server was super nice.
They changed the menu, definitely for the worst. The food was disgusting. I will not be going back.
The Cross Iron Mills Milestone restaurant is always great, love going there but this time around I was a bit disappointed in the hostess, when each quest approached the front to check in for the reservation they were not brought back to the table, but to wander through the restaurant to find it. It was a busy lunch hour but this was a bit lazy on that part. Otherwise the experience was wonderful.
The food and drinks were good. We had cocunut calamari for an appetizer and it was ccoked perfectly. Melted in your mouth. Only problem i had was it was 14.99 and a very small portion for two to share. The steaks and everything else were great. Steak was perfect medium rare. The only issue i had was they had a Wednesday $50 date night which is why we went there, affordable and close to home. Well, no more date night. They stopped it. Dinner ended up costing alot more than we had expected. However, i guess it was our choice to stay as we were there already. Overall, a great meal
Our server was very absent and took a very long time to bring the bill. Other than that, all was good.
Great place for any occasion
Our server was excellent however the hostesses behaviour was unacceptable
The restaurant was not at all busy and she tried to seat us at the “ worse” table.
When we asked for a booth ( why we reserved in the first place to get a good table) she rolled her eyes and made disparaging sounds.
Our excellent server saved the day as she was terrific! Food was very good
Service, as always, very slow but friendly.
Food was amazing! I was a bit disappointed with the children’s menu though. All meals on the kids menu are the same price, so grilled salmon is the same price as pasta. My child ordered the pasta, it was a decent amount and she enjoyed it but $10.50 for a child size pasta seems pricey to me. I ordered a streak meal and it was delicious but slightly disappointed in the portions of the sides. They were delicious but you don’t get very much.
I would recommend still. The food is good! And I have always enjoyed their Bellini as well.
Food was great. Meal came out before Appetizers were done. So timing could have been better
The server was very nice and helpful but too busy.
Food was yummy, but the fries came out absolutely cold. Our server was prompt to fix the issue, which was good.
We were the first few customers arrived. Maybe the restaurant just opened. My order burger with fries and my wife’s salad weren’t fresh. Fries were soft like used microwave to warm up. I didn’t bite the burger since I saw the veget on the burger was dry. My wife’s salad had some “red rust” on the cut romaine lettuce end. And the grill chicken looked like power when my wife tried to cut it into small pieces. We didn’t eat our meals, we paid and left. End up ate at Fionn MacCools.
Service was great!!
Drinks were good!
Food was undercooked and not only was it unappealing, the taste, texture was off.
It was ok.
However the restaurant itself looks wise was great!
While the ambiance of the restaurant is nice I have yet to go either for brunch or for dinner and be satisfied with the service.
Food is okay but very disappointed in their Eggs Benedict Brunch. 2nd time I have been there and the English muffin was buttered but not toasted.
Great menu but slow service.
Always great service when we come which is once a month for supper. Tried brunch this trip for the first time on our way to taking our daughter to the airport. Eggs Benedict was a bit of a disappointment. We will still return for later dining for sure.
It's our 3rd visit and we received good service every time we went there.
Awesome Food as always! prefect choice for a good holiday celebration with food!
not enough waiter staff, food can to us slow and not all food was hot!
Meals were good. Service ok. One complaint. We were two couples at one table and I told the waitress before ordering appetizers that each couple had their own AMA card for a free appetizer when spending $30/card. We asked for separate bills. When we were paying she told us that we could use only 1 AMA card per table so they ended up charging us for an appetizer that we were told would be free. She also made a mistake on our bill.
Milestones is one of my favourites chain of restaurants but our experience this time was
We went there for my daughters birthday celebration. It was busy the time we were there so we understand that food and drinks would be slow arriving. Food is great specially the desserts. We asked for water and i almost cut my lip because i did not realize that the glass was broken, we told the server and she apologized. I would recommend milestones to friends but i would tell them not to go at 7pm.lol
Really delicious apps, goat cheese yum! Steak was cooked perfectly, tender and juicy!
We ordered surf and turf steak and seafood pasta, the shrimp was odd tasting, almost like a propane or natural gas taste. The seafood pasta was ok, overall the I don’t think it was worth the cost.
After receiving our appetizer our server did not come see us until our entrees arrived, not bringing us the water we asked for before our second drinks arrived. She was focusing on larger tables and felt as if she was ignoring us.
The music was far to loud and made it hard to order and enjoy conversation.
Would not come back, far to expensive for the service and food provided.
The occasion was a birthday dinner, which was mentioned in the initial reservation. There was absolutely no mention of the birthday while we were there – they did not even say happy birthday; most restaurants will do that much and usually offer a free dessert.
Otherwise an ok experience.
we made a reservation and at the last min they said there was a function so they would be closing early but we would still get the service we normally do. We were rushed through our meal and at the end she was not even sure if we could get desert. Then when it was time to pay she did not know how to do scene points not to mention the bill was wrong and had to be fixed because we were charged wrong and it was just not a relaxed meal we were expecting.
Service was good. Manager and staff were very attentive. The food was average at best. We were expecting more for that price range. Ambiance is OK if not plain.
The food was really good, the drinks were great also. we came in and were seated right away. The staff was really friendly and overall a great place to eat.
Above all the food served was HOT. Too often in restaurants it is not. Will definitely go back when we are in the mall.
Found that the shrimp creole was much on the salty side and less cajun. Not sure if they can lessen this to not overpower the spice.
Hubby and I went for Dinner after taking in a movie. Pretty loud but not a terrible experience for a mall-based restaurant. Hubby had the chicken parm and said he was hoping for something a bit more upscale and a bit less fried chicken. I had the portobello mushroom chicken - not bad, nothing special. Wine was good!
Three out of four of us were not impressed with our meals. For the cost, the meal was underwhelming. I did not like the sauce on my "filet", that I thought was actually a filet and not flank steak. I asked my server to take back my fries because they were only lukewarm. Another server came with new fries, same temp. My server then went to the kitchen and asked them to make new fries so I could have them hot. I was impressed a few minutes later when she delivered hot fries. My husband was not expecting a very tomatoey pasta, the description stated only some tomato would be in it. My friend did not like the calamari sauce. However, our server was excellent.
The food and service was excellent!! The only complaint ( which was not the restaurants fault) is the builders for a restaurant going it next door were very loud. That is the only reason for the ambiance and noise. It was very good otherwise.
