Nice Restaurant, with good service, very friendly people and delicious food.
Service was terrible. We were a table of four women not involved in watching the World Cup and got no attention at all. The patio is very loud during the day with traffic noise, something that needs to be addressed with buffers - walls, plants?
Our server was great! Food portion was decent and the food taste great. Always prefer to go to this location rather than other locations even if they are closer to home.
Enjoyed good service and good food. Music a little loud - gorgeous view.
Just a normal dining. I won a gift card from my workplace and treat my mom a meal.
food is always consistently good. parm chicken was really good as was mediterrian chicken. coconut mousse pie was amazing! our server, matt was friendly, engaging and very personable and we had a lovely conversation with him. = )
Great service. Our server was Matt gave us outstanding service. Food was excellent (especially the Caprese Chicken Sandwich) and overall was a great experience!
Ive been going since milestines cambie opened in my neighvorhood. Thw qualtiy of food decreased just bwforw thwy closwd for renovarions . When it reopened it was still poor rhen rhe staff changed andcit was revived until rescently thecquality of foid was poor we went for sunday brunch.
The restaurant was great. Staff were very accommodating when I asked to switch tables to avoid looking into the light from the huge window.
Food was very tasty and arrived quickly. I recommend this location.
Haven't been to Milestones for a long time as there seems to be hardly any locations anymore however we had a gift card so decided to make use of it. 20 years ago M was a favourite restaurant of ours for brunch or dinner as it was reliable, lively, good value etc. We had a look online so we could decide which location to go to but unfortunately read a lot of negative reviews - without having the time to read up on the Cambie we just went for it.
The young manager was pleasant and let us sit on the patio which was kind of nice. Can't remember much about the service as it was benignly lackluster, kind of lived up (or down) to the reviews but at least I wasn't expecting much.
We ordered various brunch items and of course none of it resembled the sexy menu photos - also expected! The bananas were mushy, the fruit salad sad - can a mum get one lousy strawberry please? Oh and what's with the horrible deep fried "breakfast potatoes" or rather, square French fries - a mark of a kitchen that doesn't care about their customers. How is it that a tiny greasy spoon like the Nice Café can hand shred fresh potatoes and cook them beautifully but M can't? Well, actually, all the breakfast items are fresher and made with more care there than at M. Also - omg - that teeny tiny little drip of a Mimosa for $7 - awful!
I wasn't even going to bother writing anything but here I am - what happened M? Obvs not the same restaurant it used to be - now you look like a boring version of the Keg (also boring) with carelessly made food. We used up the gift card, tipped 15% but will never ever go back again. Cheers.
Dan the manager was amazing. They accommodated our group and our waiter was so nice and made it really fun. We had Brunch and it as great value
Looked for a restaurant with kid's menu. I have been to most of the restaurants which have kids menu, but Milestones. I didn't even know Milestones has kids menu, but glad I did find after crazy search. I think the selection of food is a little more limited than the other restaurants with kids menu, but their food is a lot better, plus us, adults can have variety of choices and food was good! I have already told my friends with kids.
Waitress was horrible. No emotions and didn’t follow up - seemed confused. Was not enjoyable.
Our waiter was really polite, but our Mediterranean chicken quite salty for our taste.
I am disappointed because I am a fan of Milestones and I was embarrassed because I booked ou Administrative Professionals Day lunch there at 3 pm. And the food was terrible. The service was extremely poor. We waited almost 15 minutes until someone came to take our drink order. And a few people at to leave at 4 pm to pick up their kids etc. But our food only arrived 3:50. So, one person literally took one bite and left. The coconut calamari was overcooked, the spinach & artichoke dip and zero flavor and no one came to check on us. After I had raved to my co-workers about going to Milestones for this lunch I had to eat my words. More than 1 person said they would never go there again and more than 1 person mentioned that every time they go to the Milestones on Cambie and 8th in Vancouver, the service has been terrible. I am usually quite a forgiving person when it comes to stuff like this, however, I looked really bad because I booked the lunch there. You guys need to step it up because I have seen your service and quality of food decline greatly and it's disappointing. I think Milestones lost 6 patron for good because of this experience on Wednesday.
Really lovely experience, good to go for a week night bite if you're feeling lazy and want to fill up! Nice range of food and drinks list. The service was really great too, very knowledgable and friendly people.
It was a family gathering and most us had to wait awhile to get our food. It all came at different times. They forgot at least couple of orders, we had to constantly remind them. If you can't remember what someone ordered, then write it down! When ordering steak you should get a steak knife, it's common sense isn't it?
Servers and Manager were nice but the service is very slow for Monday evening.
Great location and food always never disappoints. Service is the tops.
Our server Sheila T. totally made our day!! 🤗 Food was delicious, too! 👍🏻👍🏻 Very satisfied with our date night! 👌🏻😍
Food was good, but our churros were all definitely over cooked
Date night special is delicious
Had a large group for my birthday. We reserved table for 10 but got a booth for 6. However they quickly corrected and gave us a larger table. Service was great... very attentive host. Food was good, company was awesome. They brought out chocolate pecan pie with a sparkler and sang happy birthday. Overall great experience.
Despite being a very busy Easter Sunday Brunch location, the service was quick and the food was very good. Friendly and efficient staff all pitching in to get the food out to you quickly.
I was disappointed at the small size of the seafood pasta. Taste was OK
Great for kids and families for brunch
WE ENJOYED OUR DINNER HERE IT WAS AWESOME FOOD N GOOD RECOMENDATION ON MY STARTER N THEN OUR DINNER WAS SOO GOOD FIRST TIME HERE N WILL BE MANY MORE TIMES TO COME N ENJOY YOUR FINE RESTAURANT
We had a wonderful server (Sheila) who kept us laughing all night. My food was just average but I made poor menu choices so can't blame it on the restaurant.
Went here for my friend’s birthday. Made reservations and were seated right away even though we were early and my friend did not show up yet. Overall enjoyed it. No complaints. Easily accessible by transit!
The front staff were good, however "due to unexpected business" our food took a little over an hour to get to us. We had purchased 1 1/2 hours of parking and had to run down and purchase more, and we had to rush out the door to get to my daughter's event.
Tasted good, staff were friendly, but the food took way too long and caused so much stress afterwards that I don't think we will come back.
I went there for my birthday and the staff were so nice to me and accommodating for everything. Food was highly worth it and very tasty. They also gifted a free cake for me as it was my birthday. Overall really great and definitely worth it.
Garlic cheese bread was hard but they took it off the bill once I flagged them down at the very end in order to get the bill. They did not check in on the food once. Noisy live dj. We were seated right away because of my reservation through open table which was really great.
If you are hungry or in a hurry, don't come to this place. Delivery of food to the table takes awfully long, and it happened to me a number of times even when the place was half full. One time my wife and I had to wait for about 45 minutes for our food to arrive...the server told us that there was a big table of 15 people who ordered ahead of us, but the place wasn't even half full!
Anyway, the chicken bites and the prime rib are very good and the white chocolate cheesecake is fantastic.
Food was great but, service greater! Will be back again!!!
Busy night for them and yet our server was wonderful and very funny! Made my sister’s birthday dinner very lovely :)
Great value, good good, friendly service. Will definitely return many times
Always enjoy the meals here. Love the outside balcony in the summertime.
It was out second time ai Milestones, infortunatelly it wasn't good as our first visit. We made reservations for a special early Christmas Eve dinner (I have a 2y old girl) expecting a good overall service as we had last time we went to Milestones. Our food took more than 50 min to be ready. Luckily, my daughter salmon was served in a reasonable time as she was really hungry. Even though we ordered a stater (Goat cheese) that was really good and a bottle of wine, we're really disappointed with the time it took to get the food served. My daughter became bored so we had to leave, and take away our dinner home with half a bottle of wine and water. The waiter was very kind and tried to make things better giving us a $20 discount. Finally, when we got home, we microwaved the food and still tastes good.
Our food was replaced as it was over cooked. Service was excellent and very professional.
It's not terrible, but it's certainly not good, and it's certainly overpriced. Someone unfortunately gave us a gift card to go here, and when we got free apps through a promotion we went. We both left feeling like we had licked a block of salt. I can think of 5 places for lunch within walking distance for half the price that taste twice as good.
Was super disappointed by waiter, attitude and time we had to wait around. As well as the quality of food, I ordered the prime roast beef dip and half of it needed to be removed cuz it was pure fat. The deep fried onions inside it were not good either.
My son had the cheesy noodles from the kids menu - super boring with no taste but big portion. even the leftovers were not eaten.
Anyways, not returning, overpriced and food is not good at this location. Went for my daughters birthday but not a good experience at all.
