    Server was friendly and noted requests accurately. But took a long time to order first drinks, and food arrived 5-10 minutes before wine and steak knives. Both steaks ordered were significantly overcooked from request (medium rare and medium became medium well and medium well-to-well done). No one came to check so we ate them anyway. Burger came with several additional (unwelcome) toppings than are listed in the menu. Very loud place. But otherwise was good! We enjoyed our time.

    Pesto Penne chicken Asiago was fantastic! Mushroom soup was spicy and delicious. And the ganache torte was the perfect desert. We left so stuffed! Our friend had the prime rib and he said it was excellent! Any time we’ve been to this location it has been so good! And the staff is very efficient and friendly.

    The food at Milestones is amazing! I've been several times now and continue to order the same item, the Portabella Mushroom chicken and Pesto pasta! My wife has the Oriental chicken bowl and loves it. Will definitely be going back again!

    We asked if they could accommodate us earlier than our reservation and they were able to. The waitress we had was exceptional. Great sense of humor and attentive. Calamari was excellent and all the meals were very good

    Food was very decent overall; we ordered the fish tacos with sweet potato fries as well as the caesar salad with cajun chicken - both served quickly and with a high degree of quality. Our cocktails were fantastic (gin martini / cucumber smash) and the dessert (giant cookie) was simply divine. By far the highlight of our evening, though, was our dedicated waiter Shawn. He was lovely, funny, charismatic and super helpful in terms of navigating various menus especially when the dish I originally ordered was unfortunately unavailable through no fault of his own or the kitchen’s. He was incredibly attentive and kept us up to date as to the status of our drinks and meals in light of the slightly backed up bar and kitchen (although we were in and out within 90 mins). Shawn made us laugh loads and we had a very enjoyable meal at Milestones as a result.

    Great place. Ambience is great. Probably has the best restaurant's layout of seats of all milestones in ottawa. Great intimate dining in the two seat or 4 seat booths. Only issue, not Milestone's fault, is there is no access from the garage below.

    It has been several years since visiting Milestones, we discovered and enjoyed the chain while living in BC and frequently visited later, having moved to Guelph. Now in Ottawa, we just recently re-discovered Milestones and decided to pay another visit. Actually the decor could stand sprucing up just a little but the staff are genuinely friendly, the place very clean and our waitress was efficient and helpful. Prices are quite reasonable for both food and drinks and our supper was tasty, well prepared with a good selection of dishes and desserts to choose from. All in all a most pleasant evening and it's back on our list.

    Again, you raised the price on many items of the menu and it is really getting too much! We use to be regulars because we have membership at the NAC and enjoy dinning at your restaurant that is near the Concert Hall ... but with all those constant price hike we will have to go somewhere else. Also, it is very disappointing that you don't have a larger selection of teas; only black Earl Gray or camomille. Fine restaurant should have more options.

    The meal looked pleasant. However the chicken was overdone. The vegetables were ice cold. So was the spagettini. The whole main course made no sense. Quite disappointing. The highlight of a $100 meal was a bowl of soup and a starter Caesar salad. Won't be returning.

    Fabulous brunch 😋 had the eggs Benedict with the salmon and shrimp cake base!!! It was so delicious!!! I can't wait to return to have it again 🤩

    As the rating stars indicate, the food and service were very good; the ambiance was good and the noise level was good, but we ate early before the restaurant was full so it might be noisier when full. There was a good menu selection although I would not have expected so many "burger like" choices. The menu was not cheap but this is down-town and competitive, and to repeat, the food was very good. (Wonderful Irish-coffee as well).

    We are regulars here and this visit was shockingly not up to their usual standards. They were short staffed so service was mediocre, they just closed the dining room for evening service yet did let some customers sit there while making others sit at high top tables, service was very slow and we had to stop anyone walking by to place orders, drinks tasted watered down compared to usual. For a regular customer since the early 1990’s at Milestones restaurants across BC and ON, I’m hoping this was a one time bad experience and not the new norm for Milestones.
