   Nice location and good staff but unfortunately we found the food to be pretty average. One meal was overspiced with pepper drowning out the other flavours, the other had way too many different spices and flavours again overpowering the actual meal.

   Food was great. Server seemed new or inexperienced. It took a long time to get drinks. The only thing that really bothered me is that we were sitting in a booth next to a glass wall and it was filthy. So all this to say the place could be a little cleaner.

   We were disappointed that the main course at our table did not all come out at the same time. The couple we were dining with got their food first, and we waited close to 10 minutes for our food to come out. Our friends wanted to wait for our food to arrive before starting their meal, but after waiting a few minutes, we insisted on them to start eating. Good thing, I sure didn’t expect such a long wait. Not sure what happened, but evidently, someone must have forgotten to deliver our meal because by the time it arrived, nothing was hot anymore. It dampened the mood of the evening, and I don’t expect that kind of thing to happen at a Milestones.

   Nice staff. Food was overly salted and looked and tasted like airplane food. 6 guests, 5 different meals, all the same complaints. I would not recommend this Milestones.

   Our dinners arrived cold. Steaks were returned as they were not cooked as ordered. Very expensive meal for most unsatisfactory food. Will certainly never return or recommend your restaurant. Was not in the mood to complain last night as I was entertaining out of town guests.

   Our meal was delicious but the dessert was not what was expected. We ordered a key lime pie it was more like a lemon pie. The service was excellent and everything else too.

    Strange experience. The good: the waitress and her shadow (lol) were nice and helpful, the salad was interesting and very tasty, grilled shrimps were just perfect, the mains were just okay. The bad:the cocktail was almost alcohol free, like if you're in Cuba and not tipping the bartender,the spaghetti was tasteless and very very soft and overcooked, the water for the tea was most likely a tap one with a chlorine taste, so the tea was practically undrinkable; the men's washroom... common guys, this is a capital of the country, downtown, not the cheap place... how come it's so dirty.

    Loved being on the balcony in downtown Ottawa. It's almost hidden. No one peering in or walking by but all the lovely buildings and goings on. Really good food. The fish tacos are outstanding. A lot of helpful staff.

    There was no cappuccino or espresso, which put a damper on brunch. Also, no turkey options only pork bacon and a really terrible tasting vegan sausage (ashtray flavour lol).

    Food was delicious. I got the half rack combo with the shrimp. My mom got the same but with the chicken. Her chicken was a little dry. The service wasn’t the best. Our server was training a new employee and he was more attentive than she was. I had to flag her down numerous times to ask for something.

    We were a group of 7. Four of us ordered the same dinner yet mine looked completely different - clearly I was served the wrong meal. The server and the manager both blamed me - the customer. Apparently their kitchen never makes a mistake. Even a child in kindergarten can see three are the same and one is different. Appalling service particularly from the manager. Eventually he agreed that the meal was wrong and promised to adjust our bill - never offered to replace, just adjust. I’d suggest here’s a great opportunity to offer some customer centric training. Then to add insult to injury, there wasn’t an adjustment on our bill!

    Service was friendly and prompt, a clean environment. We shared the starter California salad, which was ok; though it looked like it had been sitting out for a while, limp lettuce and very little dressing. The burger was very good as were the fish tacos;generous portion. The fries were very very salty, and somewhat unbalanced the entree. If I can suggest do not salt the fries, leave that to the customer

    Our server was amazing and so nice! The drinks were good but we were disappointed with one of our meals. The crispy tempura cauliflower we ordered in black pepper bourbon was okay, but lack flavour. It didn’t taste like anything except a slight pepper taste. The wham bam shrimp was delicious!

    Waitress was a sweetheart!!!! Good food!! The hostess was very rude (young lady w very curly brownish hair) No hello, welcome, no goodbye when we left. Not someone you want at your door for first impression.

    This restaurant is in walking distance to the NAC. The food was delicious,efficient service and great location. We were able to eat and get to the show with no rush. I would recommend this restaurant after a day of shopping at the Rideau Center which is also in walking distance!

    It was an early reservation at 5:15. Service was great with drinks and taking our order. Then was the wait…….over an hour before we got our dinner. My fiancé had shrimp and scallops scampi. It was just ok. I had chicken dish that was to dry to eat. What a shame as we have eaten there before and it was always good. This night was very disappointing.

    Overall it was great, though when the waiter asked if I wanted fries or salad he didn’t mention that salad cost extra. The other thing was when I had to leave I had to hunt the waiter down. The entire restaurant was empty of staff. That being said, I got to my appointment right on time.
