Brunch: Saturday & Sunday: 10:00am - 4:00pm; Lunch & Dinner: Monday - Thursday: 11:00am - 11:00pm, Friday: 11:00am - 12:00am, Saturday: 9:30am - 12:00am, Sunday: 9:30am - 10:00pm
The restaurant was too damn hot! Everyone, especially the wait staff was sweating.
Very poor service. Took almost 30 mins for waiter to greet us. Then another 20 minutes for drinks. Orders took a long time to arrive. Waiter forgot things multiple times. Steak was more than well done when ordered as medium well.
I have always loved brunch at Milestones. When we arrived, our server was great and apologized for the delays happening in the kitchen and that meals were not getting to the tables very quickly.
He said 20-30 min waits. We didn’t care, we visited with friends and had drinks. It was over an hour by the time food came. Again, server was great and had nothing to do with the kitchen delays. My food with cold. I wasn’t going to send it back as I had to eat something and had alcohol with no food. I saw more than one meal go back to kitchen.
I get that long weekends are hard to staff. Management needs to offer insentives to staff during these peak times. Treat your staff well, and they will go that extra mile during these peak hours.
Fish tacos were tasty.
Excellent as usual! This was a birthday celebration and our server was so attentive and friendly. We had eggs benny, calamari, artichoke & crab dip and their special non-alcoholic drinks. All was delish! Will be back again soon!
Had a great time, but because the a/c doesn’t work well with the patio doors open, ate outside instead. This was fine until the end of the meal, when the sun got in our eyes.
Milestones has really slipped in recent years. We won't be back. With all the competition in that market, I cannot believe how awful the food was. Just crappy.
Although they were short staffed, we were outside and had excellent service from Roz who was put in a difficult situation responsible for the entire patio. Manager on tonight John was polite and calm and kept things moving along nicely.
Roz - thanks for being so kind and attentive to our family and for sincerely caring about everyone on the patio !!
I am so glad that Milestones Park Royal has come back to the quality of food and service that it used to be many years ago.
The variety of the menu is super. I had the beet and goat cheese salad with two skewers of prawns. I also got a take out of the sweet chili chicken to take home for dinner. My clients had the seafood salad which was also yummy!
We went for lunch and the only draw back was the screening child in the booth behind us and the party of 8 they sat beside us mid way through the meal. The server even apologized for that after and told us they usually sit a group of people in another area but the group had requested that location. We could not even hear ourselves talk! Before the bill came we wanted to continue our business meeting but had to move to the other side of the restaurant to hear ourself talk.
Other than that it was a great meal and will definitely be back!
Milestones is always a safe bet. Lots of variety on the menu, which pleases all kinds of people/taste. My son had the prime rib hash from the brunch menu. My mother in law had steak and frites, and so did I. Mine had the parmesan fries, which was awesome. I don't recall exact names for the dishes. Steaks were cooked just the way we asked. Great option for a nice lunch with friends or family :)
I made reservations for my partner for Father's Day. We were seated in a back corner when there was ample seating in better locations. We asked to move and were forgotten about for 20 minutes. It was another 10 minutes before we were able to even get water. The whole experience was disappointing. Everyone around us was being served while we were basically forgotten about.
Waited 25 minutes for coffee and wine. The waitress secured up two out of 4 orders. The restaurant was 1/2 empty at 12:30. This was the third time that we have had poor service. Not to be a fourth time. Too bad it’s only 2km from our home
My husband and I do not get out very often and this to say it nicely was a disappointment. I made a reservation and we were placed on the border or the bar and restaurant. The bar back was our waiter. It seemed like more we were a pain to him than anything. We had one person bring our appies, she said she would be right back with plates and never returned. Then we had another person bring our food. There was no consistency. My husband's ravioli was under cooked so it was hard. So our nice evening out wasn't very good overall.
Brought Mom here for lunch on Mothers Day and while not being a vegetarian, thought your veggie burger was one of the best things she has eaten. When she is happy so am I. My omelette was good too.
Our waitress, while I can't remember her name, was very friendly.
Food and service was great. The only negative would be the acoustics. Seemed very loud and difficult to carry on a conversation between the 6 people at our table.
Okay for a family brunch and for a quick lunch. Food tends to be on the cool side by time it reaches you unless it is a hamburger. Not conversation friendly when the restaurant is half full and definitely challenging to chat when all seats are occupied.
Staff are friendly. A restaurant that probably appeals to the younger crowd.
We found the food rather bland and not what we would consider up to standard. Service was great and timeliness of service was excellent. Not sure if Milestones will be on our list in the near future.
Our server was lovely, and the food was great!
we have been going to Milestones for years and would never change as it is always good. One bad feature is screaming children which annoys me
No complaints!Food was very good, great atmosfere.
The West Vancouver Milestones is excellent! I have been going here for years. A couple of years ago the menu was not so good but in the last year it has improved 100%. We both had the lobster bisque with shrimp. It was out of this world! Also had a take out of the lime chili chicken which was excellent! I totally recommend this location of Milestones. Make sure you make a reservation because it’s popular!
Despite reserving and checking in person at the restaurant the day before, there was a mixup, delay on seating, incorrect seating number and then further delays in being served. The restaurant did comp an appetizer and apologized, but it kind of spoils a special occasion when this happens. The food was good tho and our server friendly and efficient once underway.
Our server, Josh I believe his name was, was excellent. We really appreciated that he called us “Miss” instead of “madam”, made us feel young! He was very attentive and gave us fast service. The eggs benny and omelette were excellent! We also loved the Mango iced tea!
Also appreciated that the music was not blasting loud. We could actually hear each other talk!
The menu has really improved as will. Lots of variety and lots of tasty items!
Will be back for sure!
Had a lovely meal with good friends we were lucky to get the same waitress as previously becAuse she was outstanding. A must to go again
Girlfriend get together
Reasonable prices and excellent fish tacos. I will go again
It was our 1st time at Milestones, Park Royal as we just moved from Toronto. I read the reviews before going and some were not favorable. We had a great table ( booth) outside. Our waiter was great, he couldn't do enough for us. I had a special request for my meal and the cook was vary accommodating. The service, food and atmosphere was great. We'll be back.
We used to be regulars but something has changed. Service was very slow, drinks took 30 minutes, food quality very poor and the new decorations are poor inside. Outside is nice but hot. It screams out - change of ownership?? This place will not survive the new competition unless they radically change management.
Special occasion for our grand daughters 9 th birthday. We were very happy with the food and service. We will be back
I got a sort of accusing email that I'd missed my reservation, just minutes after I left. It kind of put me off of going back.
I also mentioned in the OpenTable app that I was there for a birthday, and they didn't even acknowledge that it was a special occasion.
After more than two decades, it appears that Milestones PR has declined to the point of irrelevance: from the indifference of our server to the blandness of the food, our recent visit was (to put it gently) unremarkable. Cactus Club, The Keg, and Earls are all superior North Shore eateries within this dining segment.
The Monday Ladies Night (starts at 4:00 pm) special is a great deal. 4 Belinis and 4 appetizers for $40!
Pleasantly surprised at this establishment. The food was solid, the waitstaff can be sometimes too busy but when they do come around are normally always pretty warm and attentive.
It took a long time to wait for food serving. We were so hungry. Our kids have to give them other snacks to calm them down. It turns out that they didn't eat the ordered food because they were full. Please shorten the food serving time, expecially for people who bring kids. It is not necessary to serve all the orders at the same time. It can be served separately.
I had made reservations for 8 people. Six attended (ladies night). I don't know if it was short staffed due to Victoria Day or what, but we had horrible service. It was sporadic and inconsistent. We were later informed our waiter had suffered a minor burn and that was reason for delay but we saw him running around with a mop and bucket to another section of restaurant. Our bill, rung separately for six guests, was all messed up. We spent $127 before tip. Some would have had second drinks but these were not offered or suggested. We will hold our 'chick' night elsewhere next time. The food was good. Restaurant was NOT busy.
We rely on the consistent good food and service. Very accommodating for allergy sufferers. Great specials. Clean, nice ambience inside or out. Dress up or casual. Romance or family. It has become our "go to" place in the neighbourhood.
Milestones is always a reliable choice for good food and a variety of options for everyone. it is quite noisy but the patio is lovely if you can score a table outside now if only this rain would stop ;)
For Mother's Day the restaurant was understaffed
When we did get a waiter he was good but very busy. A manager should have stepped in to help with the busy brunch.
Very disappointed. Service was slow due to "backups in the kitchen". Almost an hour from order to getting food. The lamb was literally inedible. So tough you couldn't cut through it. It was also not hot so had obviously been sitting. And it was SUPER loud in there aggravated by totally unnecessary live music. The manager did give us free meals and a $50 voucher so can't complain about the way it was handled but wouldn't go back for dinner again. I've always liked their brunch so will try my voucher then.
