Whether you come for a favourite meal or love trying new and trendy dishes, Milestones is all about great food without the pretension. We're an impromptu meeting place for friends and a cozy spot for date nights. We're familiar and friendly, but always on the cutting-edge. We're nights to remember and remarkable flavours to savour. That's how we set the table at Milestones. Be part of the story...
Brunch: Saturday & Sunday: 10:00am - 4:00pm; Lunch & Dinner: Monday - Thursday: 11:00am - 11:00pm, Friday: 11:00am - 12:00am, Saturday: 9:30am - 12:00am, Sunday: 9:30am - 10:00pm
Milestones is always a safe bet. Lots of variety on the menu, which pleases all kinds of people/taste. My son had the prime rib hash from the brunch menu. My mother in law had steak and frites, and so did I. Mine had the parmesan fries, which was awesome. I don't recall exact names for the dishes. Steaks were cooked just the way we asked. Great option for a nice lunch with friends or family :)
I made reservations for my partner for Father's Day. We were seated in a back corner when there was ample seating in better locations. We asked to move and were forgotten about for 20 minutes. It was another 10 minutes before we were able to even get water. The whole experience was disappointing. Everyone around us was being served while we were basically forgotten about.
Waited 25 minutes for coffee and wine. The waitress secured up two out of 4 orders. The restaurant was 1/2 empty at 12:30. This was the third time that we have had poor service. Not to be a fourth time. Too bad it’s only 2km from our home
My husband and I do not get out very often and this to say it nicely was a disappointment. I made a reservation and we were placed on the border or the bar and restaurant. The bar back was our waiter. It seemed like more we were a pain to him than anything. We had one person bring our appies, she said she would be right back with plates and never returned. Then we had another person bring our food. There was no consistency. My husband's ravioli was under cooked so it was hard. So our nice evening out wasn't very good overall.
Brought Mom here for lunch on Mothers Day and while not being a vegetarian, thought your veggie burger was one of the best things she has eaten. When she is happy so am I. My omelette was good too.
Our waitress, while I can't remember her name, was very friendly.
Food and service was great. The only negative would be the acoustics. Seemed very loud and difficult to carry on a conversation between the 6 people at our table.
Okay for a family brunch and for a quick lunch. Food tends to be on the cool side by time it reaches you unless it is a hamburger. Not conversation friendly when the restaurant is half full and definitely challenging to chat when all seats are occupied.
Staff are friendly. A restaurant that probably appeals to the younger crowd.
We found the food rather bland and not what we would consider up to standard. Service was great and timeliness of service was excellent. Not sure if Milestones will be on our list in the near future.
Our server was lovely, and the food was great!
we have been going to Milestones for years and would never change as it is always good. One bad feature is screaming children which annoys me
No complaints!Food was very good, great atmosfere.
The West Vancouver Milestones is excellent! I have been going here for years. A couple of years ago the menu was not so good but in the last year it has improved 100%. We both had the lobster bisque with shrimp. It was out of this world! Also had a take out of the lime chili chicken which was excellent! I totally recommend this location of Milestones. Make sure you make a reservation because it’s popular!
Despite reserving and checking in person at the restaurant the day before, there was a mixup, delay on seating, incorrect seating number and then further delays in being served. The restaurant did comp an appetizer and apologized, but it kind of spoils a special occasion when this happens. The food was good tho and our server friendly and efficient once underway.
Our server, Josh I believe his name was, was excellent. We really appreciated that he called us “Miss” instead of “madam”, made us feel young! He was very attentive and gave us fast service. The eggs benny and omelette were excellent! We also loved the Mango iced tea!
Also appreciated that the music was not blasting loud. We could actually hear each other talk!
The menu has really improved as will. Lots of variety and lots of tasty items!
Will be back for sure!
Had a lovely meal with good friends we were lucky to get the same waitress as previously becAuse she was outstanding. A must to go again
Girlfriend get together
Reasonable prices and excellent fish tacos. I will go again
It was our 1st time at Milestones, Park Royal as we just moved from Toronto. I read the reviews before going and some were not favorable. We had a great table ( booth) outside. Our waiter was great, he couldn't do enough for us. I had a special request for my meal and the cook was vary accommodating. The service, food and atmosphere was great. We'll be back.
We used to be regulars but something has changed. Service was very slow, drinks took 30 minutes, food quality very poor and the new decorations are poor inside. Outside is nice but hot. It screams out - change of ownership?? This place will not survive the new competition unless they radically change management.
Special occasion for our grand daughters 9 th birthday. We were very happy with the food and service. We will be back
I got a sort of accusing email that I'd missed my reservation, just minutes after I left. It kind of put me off of going back.
I also mentioned in the OpenTable app that I was there for a birthday, and they didn't even acknowledge that it was a special occasion.
After more than two decades, it appears that Milestones PR has declined to the point of irrelevance: from the indifference of our server to the blandness of the food, our recent visit was (to put it gently) unremarkable. Cactus Club, The Keg, and Earls are all superior North Shore eateries within this dining segment.
The Monday Ladies Night (starts at 4:00 pm) special is a great deal. 4 Belinis and 4 appetizers for $40!
Pleasantly surprised at this establishment. The food was solid, the waitstaff can be sometimes too busy but when they do come around are normally always pretty warm and attentive.
It took a long time to wait for food serving. We were so hungry. Our kids have to give them other snacks to calm them down. It turns out that they didn't eat the ordered food because they were full. Please shorten the food serving time, expecially for people who bring kids. It is not necessary to serve all the orders at the same time. It can be served separately.
I had made reservations for 8 people. Six attended (ladies night). I don't know if it was short staffed due to Victoria Day or what, but we had horrible service. It was sporadic and inconsistent. We were later informed our waiter had suffered a minor burn and that was reason for delay but we saw him running around with a mop and bucket to another section of restaurant. Our bill, rung separately for six guests, was all messed up. We spent $127 before tip. Some would have had second drinks but these were not offered or suggested. We will hold our 'chick' night elsewhere next time. The food was good. Restaurant was NOT busy.
We rely on the consistent good food and service. Very accommodating for allergy sufferers. Great specials. Clean, nice ambience inside or out. Dress up or casual. Romance or family. It has become our "go to" place in the neighbourhood.
Milestones is always a reliable choice for good food and a variety of options for everyone. it is quite noisy but the patio is lovely if you can score a table outside now if only this rain would stop ;)
For Mother's Day the restaurant was understaffed
When we did get a waiter he was good but very busy. A manager should have stepped in to help with the busy brunch.
Very disappointed. Service was slow due to "backups in the kitchen". Almost an hour from order to getting food. The lamb was literally inedible. So tough you couldn't cut through it. It was also not hot so had obviously been sitting. And it was SUPER loud in there aggravated by totally unnecessary live music. The manager did give us free meals and a $50 voucher so can't complain about the way it was handled but wouldn't go back for dinner again. I've always liked their brunch so will try my voucher then.
We went for a meal with friends and while the food was good the service, to start, was abysmal. The server was unfamiliar with their beers and mixed up the wines. He may have been having a bad day or been new to the job but regardless, seemed disengaged. The Manager took over the service.
The prime rib was superb, the kids loved their hamburgers and the fish tacos were tasty. The restaurant was clean and not overly noisy.
We will give them another chance as people have bad days.
I have been to this Milestones many times. The service is always great and the staff friendly.
This time I ordered the Sea Food Salad that comes with salmon & prawns. I ordered it with just prawns. I was disappointed in this salad, although it did come with extra prawns in lieu of my not having the salmon, it was basically a huge mound of lettuce with only a small sprinkle of red sweet peppers. For $21 I could go out and buy 20 lettuce! So it was not only boring but not good value. I wished I had of ordered their California Salad with strawberries, goat cheese and spiced pecans instead.
We went here for my daughter and husband's birthdays, with family. The service is good. The menu and food is okay but hasn't changed much over the years - seems like they just re-work the same old stuff. All of our food was okay but nothing to rave about, except dessert (churros were very good).
They recently renovated but it feels more like a Swiss Chalet now - too fast casual for the price. With so much competition they need to step it up if they want to survive in this market.
They also didn't offer the free dessert to the birthday person this time and it was their actual birthday day.
This was our chance in giving this location a "second" try. Unfortunately little seems to have changed. Poor co-ordination in sitting people, prefer to cluster people together around families with children, despite location not busy. Found service staff to be unfriendly, and uninterested. Meal itself for brunch was average, very fatty meat and over cooked.
Have always liked Milestones, but service was terrible and non-existent on this visit. Food was lukewarm and had been sitting, so that egg yolks became congealed. Margaritas were unevenly filled and tepid. The bartender also ran out of one of the flavours and just substituted it with one that was not ordered, instead of checking with the table for instruction. The only speedy part of the meal was the processing of the payment.
My friend and I went with our two young kids (11 months and 2 years). We ordered mac n cheese for our kids right away. Our food came an later then our kids food took another 15 minutes. We asked about the mac n cheese at least 3 times as the 2 year old was getting restless. When it finally came, our waitress said we wouldn't be charged for it because of our wait! Good thing because all it was was noodles with grated cheese. Not a $9 meal for sure! Both our adult meals were cold but we didn't have the patience to wait any longer. We will not be returning to this milestones.
Beet salad had very few beets and salmon entre was absolutely raw. Had to send it back and elderly father refused to try the second attempt. Birthday kids were offered a free dessert but it never came to the table. We were still charged for all. The server was very friendly, though.
Ginger beef was excellent! I love the spinach dip as well (but have to order extra salsa - too small)...
the place is very nice now that is has gone thru the reno. We were a group of 6 and our server was great. The food was good and we didn't feel rushed
