Milestones Grill + Bar - Toronto - Toronto Life
It's the passion in our recipes that makes a visit to Milestones truly unforgettable. Whether you come for a favourite meal or love trying new and trendy dishes, Milestones is all about great food without the pretension. We're an impromptu meeting place for friends and a cozy spot for date nights. We're familiar and friendly, but always on the cutting-edge. We're nights to remember and remarkable flavours to savour. That's how we set the table at Milestones. Be part of the story...
Great service and food was good but portions a little on the small size. Great daily drink specials.
The service was slow initially- we waited a long time for just someone to come by. The bathroom conditions were awful.
The steak quality was terrible. the staff was friendly although I will NEVER return.
our waitress was fantastic..her nam was something like Astasia. Food was excellent too. the talking noise level was a bit loud but bearable. All in all a great dining experience!
The food is very good and a lot of choices. The waiting time was not long. We certainly will come back
Touristy, prices are high and quantities are small
fire alarm went off which was very annoying. I got the wrong order of food and gad to wait for my correct order. when the food came it was cold.
We were celebrating my sister birthday. Every dish was really good 😋😋 I love going to milestones cause they have gluten free options dishes.
Literally the worst downtown restaurant. We went there after pride, the restaurant was basically empty, you could see more than 20 tables that were empty but the guy at the door was saying it would take ~1hour to get a table. I came to open table and all the slots were open, I reserved one and went back saying that I got a reservation for 7. He told us it would take ~20 min to get a table ready and that he would send a text message when it was ready. We waited for 30 minutes and nothing happened, I told him there was more than 5 tables empty outside and asked if we could get one. He was extremely rude so we just left and never got a text message.
Taking my mother in law out to the theatre
We had to ask for someone to come to our table after waiting for 20 minutes and again when we wanted to order a second round. The food I ordered was really disgusting to the poijt of not being able to eat it. No refund was offered, even partial.
Very disappointing and we will not be back.
WARNING: THE RESTAURANT IS A TOURIST TRAP...
Due to the beautiful downtown location I assume they get a lot of tourists. Be very careful when leaving your tip. The machine has preset % for 18 not 15. I assume this is because they hope people don’t look that closely or complain about the extra 3%. Just seems sneaky.
Let me start by saying my review is based off the fact that the server seemed overwhelmed. This was not her fault. Perhaps staffing is the true issue.
The patio is beautiful! Great view of the city perfect on a hot sunny day. What’s not great is the overwhelming smell of garbage from either canisters below at street level or something that needs more attention with the patio section.
My husband and I love the Nutella French toast brunch dish however, the dish it’s served in makes it really awkward to lay your cutlery down between helpings. Looks nice but that’s about it.
No consistency with the dish either. Come with whipped cream only sometimes.
Service was alright. Our server was either new or overwhelmed because it took an unusually long time for not only our food but our drinks to arrive.
Washrooms are always dirty with ice cold water.
Management doesn’t seem to care.
Great customer service
Food, service and patio were fantastic. That all ended when I used the bathroom on my way out.
Stalls dirty, un-flushed toilets, broken paper towel dispenser and ice cold water out of all the taps no matter which faucet or direction of handle.
Maybe they’ve had budget cuts ???
Good food, good location, pleasant service. I visit each time I am in the city. The only issue was the latte machine, training was required so we never ended up having a hot drink after two attempts. But all in all, the food is very good and I'm sure the latte machine will be perfected one day.
I usually enjoy Milestone's but this visit for Sunday brunch was disappointing. The restaurant was fairly empty and even with several servers wandering around the service was painfully slow and disorganized, and the server kept forgetting our orders. There was no prime rib -- I understand that they sometimes run out but one of our party came specifically for it, which was not great.
As a previous diner at other Milestones locations, I saw that this location is shabby in appearance, the furnishing were worn and the ambiance wasn't great.
Great meal and great service. I highly recommend.
Good time on the patio for a quick & early dinner. Wish they would bring out heaters like other restaurants around them. Our server was great but the majority of the wait and host staff seem inexperienced and easily overwhelmed.
Wasn’t able to change party number in open table ap called to make reservation directly and no issues. Friendly, great service, food was very good.
Was very nice food was delicious
The waiter did exactly what I had asked for in my request form on Open Table! Really lovely experience!
Really good time and delicious food!
Was great service and food. We ordered a bottle of white zimfandel bit it was acidy and tasted like has bubbles try to tell this but nobody cuecked it howevee we are not big drinker so it was kind of ok. But the wine was 35$ shouod have been perfect so i will not order bottle agsin just by the glass
Other wose i go to this place all the time so this is a shame that ahopened
Great as always! Thank you!
Food was excellent and our server was cheerful and attentive. Out of town guests very impressed! Keep up the good work!
Great place to meet up with colleagues and network without excessive noise and activity. Service was great.
To date, regardless of location, Milestones had never failed to deliver for us. It was the same March 22nd, when 4 of us met for a pre-theater dinner. Service was prompt; at the outset, our waitress asked if we were seeing a play that evening and at what time. We were all very satisfied with our meals-chicken, beef sandwich and spring salad.
Took my friend out for a birthday lunch. The food and drinks were delicious but I did have a couple of issues overall. We got the bruschetta flatbread as an appetizer. I don't usually have appetizers when I go out to eat because I have a small appetite/ stomach so I prefer to save room for the main course but I don't regret it... the appetizer tasted better than I expected! That being said, I ordered the Crispy Sweet Chili Chicken Bowl as my main entree. It was delightful! However, I found it slightly spicier than expected for a sweet chili sauce. Luckily the spice level was still in my tolerance range :) Due to the appetizer from earlier, I did have some of my entree left over so got it packed. Now, here is where I encountered my biggest issue. I did not hold the box excessively tight nor did I mishandle it (tossing or any other rough action) but an hour into my commute, I thought to open it up and snack on 1 or 2 chicken pieces quickly and that's when I noticed that the bottom of the box was cracked and some liquid was leaking. I did not want to take it into my car like that so I ended up throwing it out after I got off the GO train. This really upset me because it tasted good and there was a good amount of it so I was planning to eat it for dinner, but had to make other arrangements.
Before Musical dinner, with some time constraints. This location is ideal for walking to the Ed Mirvish theatre afterwards. I like Milestones. The food is always good (I quite like the Mediterranean Chicken), and the prices are reasonable. We enjoyed good table service.
This is our second time going to this location for the Wednesday date night special of $50.00 - the food and the value for the money is excellent - both our appetizer and main course meals came out piping hot - very rare these days in many restaurants - the location is great - especially if you are going to the Mirvish Theatre on Victoria Street.
Very nice. Food was good and service was exceptional. Very funny waitress and good and attentive.
Did not seem very accommodating regarding analphylaxis to peanuts. Statement was that other patrons with a peanut allergies still ate foods from the deep fryer although the server had just previously warned not to due to cross contamination. The server felt like it wasn’t a bit deal. Ended up just having a salad that had too much dressing on it. Serving sizes were huge, as indicated by the calories counts.
Great location for dinner. The food was ok and the service was slow.
Pre-theatre lunch with kids. Quick service, great food and hot to the theatre on time.
Second time this location before seeing a broadway show. The food was amazing, the service was great! Noise level minimal so you could hear and enjoy the people with us.
Food was delicious, wife loved the crispy chicken and brie on rustic bread, my spicy tia chicken was very tasty, but short on Asian veggies.
Service was excellent. Perfect eatery prior to a Mirvish show.
we made a reservations for 6 pm. our train was delayed and the server was very accomodating because we showed up at 630 pm. she knew we had a show to see at 8 pm so she went over and above to get our drinks quickly and serve our food quickly. she even came to us at 730 pm and told us we should pay so we would get out on time and not be late for the show.
i was very impressed with Angie C. very friendly, happy and an amazing server.
had a great experience and I would go back again!!! xoxox
We were seated without full set of menus , cutlery or napkins. The restaurant ran out of mashed potatoes and cauliflower bites which effected 3 orders at our table. Food took an hour from time of order to arrive at the table. The server was pleasant and we received 3 complimentary slices of cake, however I would not recommend this location.
It was a little too loud but other than that amazing experience
