Milestones Grill + Bar - Toronto - Toronto Life
It's the passion in our recipes that makes a visit to Milestones truly unforgettable. Whether you come for a favourite meal or love trying new and trendy dishes, Milestones is all about great food without the pretension. We're an impromptu meeting place for friends and a cozy spot for date nights. We're familiar and friendly, but always on the cutting-edge. We're nights to remember and remarkable flavours to savour. That's how we set the table at Milestones. Be part of the story...
I'd warn them that the noise level is extreme at the Dundas location --- especially on a Friday night! But it is very close to the Ed Mirvish theatre and a good spot to have dinner before the show. Best to reserve a time for dinner, though!
My friend and I were impressed with our server. Sorry I don't know her name. Immediately upon sitting she told us where the washrooms were and quickly served our food throughout. Not too rushed. Just right. She had a pleasant personality, but not overpowering. One of the best experiences really. I will certainly go to this MIlestones again and recommend it to my friends
booth seat was cracked, I think they should fix it , clearly the place is a little run down and in need of a small reno or at least replace the worn out seats.
The food was delicious (I had the sirloin steak) and service was excellent. The location was great for seeing a show at the Eglin Theatre
Great food and service..great location..always a "go to" spot.
The service was very good, the food came within minutes of ordering each course, menu however has been changed drastically and portions seem to be smaller and menu has less variety.
Booked through open table and mentioned two things. One was a low sodium diet and two it was our anniversary. Neither one was acknowledged. When my food came it was too salty. The waiter said I should have told them about it when I ordered. He said they would make a new meal but we all know that it takes twice as long to make it again and by then my husband would be finished. And I mention our anniversary at the door but that was about it. For my birthday at least got a dessert. Why book through open table and fill out my requests when the restaurant does not read it. This is more of an Open Table issue then the restaurant.
We have been to Milestones in a number of places across the country. We have found the food and service consistently good. In particular, the food is fresh and nicely seasoned. Good value for the money.
Nothing extra ordinary.
This Milestones is overlooks Yonge/Dundas Square. It's our go to restaurant when we come for movie night. We have a table on the terrace this time, nice, warm evening but tables are set too tight so getting into your seat is difficult. Not the fault of the servers though! management please take note! The Beet salad with Goat cheese is good, the fish in the tacos are nice & crispy. Tried Thai noodle with shrimp & chicken in a curry coconut sauce - well-seasoned and quite good as well. We'll be back!
It was busy and our server Joshua was moving . He gave great service and we really enjoyed our dinner. All the food was tasty and pleasing to look at it. We ordered: spinach artichoke dip, Asian chicken bites for starters; butternut squash ravioli and spinach salad with salmon for mains. Delicious!
I love the new streamlined menu.
Service was excellent. Despite our reservation getting lost, they found us a spot. Dinner was best I have ever had at that location. Waitress knew we were going to the theater so she was very effecent getting drinks, dinner, coffee and individual bills. Well done,
The food was delicious and flavorful. I left satisfied. Server could have been a little more friendly but to be fair he had a lot of tables to tend too. The restaurant was extremely busy. It was my first time in maybe 4 years since eating at milestones. Looking forward to going back.
Food was delicious and service was good. Would return to and recommend this location.
Sitting outside on the patio you have great overview over the plaza and can enjoy your meal. A very good one, of couorse.
Excellent, attentive service!
It was my first time with my date and we loved our time at Milestones Downtown
The service was fine but my food was served COLD. We were going to a show and didn’t have time to get a new meal made. It was really disappointing as this is my favourite meal at Milestones and I was looking forward to it. The staff was gracious and apologetic but that didn’t change the fact that my dinner was served cold.
The dining room was almost empty and they sat two groups RIGHT beside each other. Food was good, but took forever, considering that the place was not busy.
The view was nice but the service was subpar. They brought food to the tables with our utensils, if they cleared something mid table they did not return a replacement. Guests had to ask for basic items that should have been mindfully presented or offered. It was not even that busy so we were surprised by the waiting staffs lack of service.
Service was good but the menu could use more vegetarian/vegan options.
Biggest problem was the food was served lukewarm
Love your Surfside Salad, NEVER take it off the menu! Loaded with goodies, never disappoints.
The service was good and friendly. The food was delicious.
Very good experience
There were 5 of us and everything was great
Clean, great service. The food came quickly and was very good. Liked the relaxed atmosphere and we were not rushed out the door
I would definitely return
It was a very good experience on the patio.
It’s shocking to me how Milestones continues to serve subpar food and has terrible service. This time the waiter messed up the order and the bills multiple times and just generally didn’t seem to care. On top of that, the food was not good and the service was slow. Most of us couldn’t finish our meals. The only reason we go is for the Bellini but honestly I don’t think it’s worth it anymore.
Sat on patio so nice to be outside. Beet salad was reasonably priced but very small. Wine as usual was pricey but decent. Service was friendly but a bit slow - think they forgot about us.
Was pleasantly surprised. I had been years ago and was not impressed but gave it another try. Food was delicious . Had the beet and goat cheese salad with a beef slider. Amazing. Of course started off with my favourite bellini. Waiter was quick as we had a play that night. Thanks for a new and great restaurant to go to.
Great service and food was good but portions a little on the small size. Great daily drink specials.
The service was slow initially- we waited a long time for just someone to come by. The bathroom conditions were awful.
The steak quality was terrible. the staff was friendly although I will NEVER return.
our waitress was fantastic..her nam was something like Astasia. Food was excellent too. the talking noise level was a bit loud but bearable. All in all a great dining experience!
The food is very good and a lot of choices. The waiting time was not long. We certainly will come back
Touristy, prices are high and quantities are small
fire alarm went off which was very annoying. I got the wrong order of food and gad to wait for my correct order. when the food came it was cold.
We were celebrating my sister birthday. Every dish was really good 😋😋 I love going to milestones cause they have gluten free options dishes.
Literally the worst downtown restaurant. We went there after pride, the restaurant was basically empty, you could see more than 20 tables that were empty but the guy at the door was saying it would take ~1hour to get a table. I came to open table and all the slots were open, I reserved one and went back saying that I got a reservation for 7. He told us it would take ~20 min to get a table ready and that he would send a text message when it was ready. We waited for 30 minutes and nothing happened, I told him there was more than 5 tables empty outside and asked if we could get one. He was extremely rude so we just left and never got a text message.
Taking my mother in law out to the theatre
