Fully enjoyed dinner. Waiter was particularly great. Price was good. Food was very good. We’ll come back for sure
Convenient location, staff accommodating quick turn around when mentioned heading for a show. Food average, I want impressed with state of the bathroom cleanliness especially since it wasn’t busy.
I like Milestones and I always think the food is good. I have been a few times. This time however I was not very happy. We asked to be seated at a table and not a booth. We were accommodated with a bench seat and two chairs which was fine but the one chair could not be pulled all the way out from the table as it was at an odd angle to the window beside it. The chair ran into the window ledge making it awkward for someone to pull out the chair and sit comfortably.
The other problem we had was with the food. My friend had ordered the pesto chicken penne asigo I am not sure why it came from the kitchen cold and we had to send it back to be heated. She liked the flavour of the dish. Our server was quick to offer another dish but my friend said she would be happy if they just heated up what was on her plated. It did come back heated. My other friend ordered the Mediterranean chicken and was disappointed in the salad served with it. She felt there was nothing remotely Mediterranean about the dish and that the salad was drenched in dressing. She said she should have asked for the dressing on the side to avoid the heavy hand that applied the dressing. I had the spicy Thai basil noodles and was quite happy with the dish. It was served hot and was quite a nice flavour.
I would eat at Milestones again as I have had decent meals there, I am not sure why there was a problem this time. The service is also quick and friendly.
I just always enjoy eating at Milestones, Dundas! The ambiance is great, the food is good and the cost is decent.
My husband and I enjoyed our meal at this location of Milestones before attending the theatre. From the moment we were greeted to our final good byes it was a most wonderful experience. The food was excellent - very generous portions. We had the Valentine's Day 3 course meal option - great choice! We were unable to finish our entrees and the server graciously offered to package them and one of our desserts for us to take home. We enjoyed the leftovers the next night - just as good!! Although we were told that due to it being Valentine's Day we were limited to a two hour seating at no time did we feel rushed. We will definitely be back again. A very pleasurable experience all round.
I was so impressed with the service the waitress was on point I will definitely go again
Great food, great service
The food was underwhelming. My husband found the salmon to be lacking taste and over cooked. The spinach dip had a liquid texture. My pasta was also lacking taste. The salad we had was delicious however. Drink service was also slow for a slow night.
I wish you would serve unsweetened ice team; I don't like to have to settle for carbonated beverages.
Steak was absolutely amazing and tasty, Cassie was also a great server. Heavy on price but quality.
Went to this Milestones before attending the Ed Mirvish theatre. Got there early to partake in Happy Hour-great deals on food & drinks. Very convenient close to parking & theatre. Food was delicious & well presented.
The service was very slow, though polite and respectful.
We did request a gf substitute to our meal, which was mixed up. While apologies were given, the error corrected and compensation of free dessert was added to our bill, the gf meal was very bland. I would not order it again! I ordered tea with dessert but waited over 10 minutes for milk and sugar.
I have eaten here before and typically thoroughly enjoy it, but this visit was very disappointing.
service was slow both our meals were not brought at the same time- her pasta dish came 1st, a few minutes later my sliders then afte r that my fries 3 items could not be served at once- honestly it isnt rocket science to bring all together
We left without even eating - this place needs a major renovation- dirty and dingy - we walked over to Jack Astors. Much better ambiance and clean!
Good experience overall. Staff were great, but service was a bit slow. Luckily, we still made it to our movie on time.
Our server was really nice. It was NYE and really busy.
Steak was very fatty and coffee came cold.
Still good overall.
Second try as first time was that great. But...Veal chop was very fatty and chewy. Striploin was tough. Although they were accommodating with side dish substitutions. High priced dishes not to par. Next table had burgers which looked ok.
Too many better places to try here again.
Great place to meet friends. Not to noisy like some of the other restaurants in the area. Great food and amazing service!
Excellent service, good food. A place we will continue to come back too
Food service was very slow for a on busy restaurant, for a group that only has an hr lunch it took almost 1hr for the food to arrive.
We had a great dining experience. Server was professional and friendly.
There was a lack of space or hooks in banquettes to stash winter coats.
There were a couple of large parties present at the same time which seemed to impact the promptness of service. It seemed to take too long for food to arrive and for staff to accept payment.
Otherwise, food was good and drink refill offers were timely.
We had a nice pre holiday shopping lunch. Our server was attentive but not annoying, leaving us to enjoy our meal and plan our purchases.
Every one enjoyed their sandwiches. The Caesar salad was great. I found the shrimp skewer was to salty but other wise enjoyed our dinner.
Our group of sixteen for pre theatre dinner were treated like royalty and ensured we were served well so that we felt comfortable but also got out on time. Would definitely come again with a large group!
Everything was great. We were sad that chicken parmigiana is gone from the menu but otherwise very enjoyable spot to catch up with an old friend.
Milestones is a reliable choice for dinner or lunch with friends or family. Food is generally good, if not spectacular. Service is attentive and friendly.
I'd warn them that the noise level is extreme at the Dundas location --- especially on a Friday night! But it is very close to the Ed Mirvish theatre and a good spot to have dinner before the show. Best to reserve a time for dinner, though!
My friend and I were impressed with our server. Sorry I don't know her name. Immediately upon sitting she told us where the washrooms were and quickly served our food throughout. Not too rushed. Just right. She had a pleasant personality, but not overpowering. One of the best experiences really. I will certainly go to this MIlestones again and recommend it to my friends
booth seat was cracked, I think they should fix it , clearly the place is a little run down and in need of a small reno or at least replace the worn out seats.
The food was delicious (I had the sirloin steak) and service was excellent. The location was great for seeing a show at the Eglin Theatre
Great food and service..great location..always a "go to" spot.
The service was very good, the food came within minutes of ordering each course, menu however has been changed drastically and portions seem to be smaller and menu has less variety.
Booked through open table and mentioned two things. One was a low sodium diet and two it was our anniversary. Neither one was acknowledged. When my food came it was too salty. The waiter said I should have told them about it when I ordered. He said they would make a new meal but we all know that it takes twice as long to make it again and by then my husband would be finished. And I mention our anniversary at the door but that was about it. For my birthday at least got a dessert. Why book through open table and fill out my requests when the restaurant does not read it. This is more of an Open Table issue then the restaurant.
We have been to Milestones in a number of places across the country. We have found the food and service consistently good. In particular, the food is fresh and nicely seasoned. Good value for the money.
Nothing extra ordinary.
This Milestones is overlooks Yonge/Dundas Square. It's our go to restaurant when we come for movie night. We have a table on the terrace this time, nice, warm evening but tables are set too tight so getting into your seat is difficult. Not the fault of the servers though! management please take note! The Beet salad with Goat cheese is good, the fish in the tacos are nice & crispy. Tried Thai noodle with shrimp & chicken in a curry coconut sauce - well-seasoned and quite good as well. We'll be back!
