The food at Milestones is usually good, and that was the case with this meal. The service, however, was slow, and I waited almost 20 minutes for the server to come back at the end of the meal with the bill. There is an old New Yorker cartoon of a man in a restaurant with a little tent card on his table that says, "Your tip so far..." I'm thinking of doing that.

We enjoyed our time and meal, the food was hot except for the vegetables. We took our dessert home annd enjoyed it today with our left orders. Thank you for the great service Nichol. We will return.

Milestones used to be a beautiful more “upscale” place to enjoy a nice dinner, and wow has it ever gone downhill. I do not recommend going to this location, and I won’t be going back. My boyfriends steak wasn’t cooked properly, the side of veggies was 1 carrot and 3 sad looking over cooked green beans. The starter and dessert were very good, but overall it is not a nice place to go and spend money on dinner. Unless you want to go out for drinks in sweats then sure

Great restaurant in general. Unfortunately Mother’s Day was busy, they looked short staffed. Didn’t get our meals served until 1 hour+ after being seated. Young ones we’re getting impatient.

Excellent waitstaff in Philippa and David! Coconut calamari was awesome as was spinach dip. Caesar salad large was very shareable, as was the surf and turf with perfectly cooked steak - medium rare

We had the Korean Sauce for our cauliflower bites and was it ever salty!! So happy we asked for it on the side. Wouldn't have it again. Fish tacos were delicious and happy to see 19 Crimes as a wine on the menu.

We were seated in the bar area despite having a reservation which was very noisy and not up to the up-scale standards we associate with other Milestones. More roadhouse/ tavern. What’s more after we ordered two grilled salmon we were told that they only had one and could they substitute black cod. We agreed followed by another wait only to be told there was no black cod either. This at prime time on a Friday night. We settled for the one remaining salmon and an order of shrimp and shared both. Staff were very apologetic but no reduction on the final bill. Tipflation too. On the plus side, food was excellent when it came and staff were very friendly but we won’t be coming back.

My husband and I celebrated 30 years of marriage recently at Milestones in Waterloo. The ambiance, food and service were exceptional!! I really enjoyed the fact that we could actually have a conversation without trying to talk over music! Then they actually provided dessert as a way of celebrating with us!! Very enjoyable!!

Overall, a very nice dining experience. The service was good. Our server was polite and drinks and main course items arrived promptly. The food was excellent - very tasty and well-prepared. Value wise, a bit pricey for what you get, but that's just any restaurant today. I ordered the shrimp and scallop scampi - $32. Again, a bit expensive for a pasta dish, but that's just the economy. I would definitely return to Milestones again.

Haven't been to Milestone's for a while and thought it would be a nice change. Food was good but not excellent. Shrimp was overcooked. Drinks were good. Two people dining was more expensive than expected. We'll try it again in the future, but we won't rush back.

Ambiance excellent, dimmed lights, nice decor. Our server was funny and always there when needed. Our appetizers and drinks were on point. However, before ordering my main meal I asked if sweet peppers can be removed as I have allergies. The server noted this. Another server brought our mains and I once again confirmed that sweet peppers were omitted. She said yes. Good thing I was too full from the appetizers. I ended up packing up my main meal to to go. I look at it today and there are strips of yellow pepper with the noodles. That is very disappointing.

We were going to see a movie. Food arrived promptly however it took almost 25 minutes to get the bill and pay. We eventually had to go to the bar to cash out. Good thing the theater was close or else we would’ve been late.

We went on Date Night and ordered from that menu Shrimp appetizer was delicious! I had Mediterranean Chicken which was good and my husband had the Sirloin which was done to perfection! Service was prompt and friendly. Love the ambience!

The my surf and turf sirloin and mashed potatoes were flavourful, hot and much enjoyed. However, the vegetables that accompanied my steak were mostly raw and pretty much stone cold and the portion (4 beans and 2 carrot sticks) was meagre to say the least. My steak was medium rare, exactly as requested. However, my husband's steak which he requested be well-done was medium rare. Fortunately his steak was tender and flavourful and he decided not to send it back. We deliberately planned an early dinner and when our meal was prepared and served, the restaurant was NOT busy, so the chef cannot claim busy-ness as an excuse!

Ordered my favourite Thai basil noodles...my usual when i go to Milestones ( which is not often as I don't live near one) . It was definitely not as I remember it. Very sticky/pasty. A slight burnt taste. It did not have a fresh flavour. It was disappointing.

We haven't been to milestones for a little while. The changes to the tables/booths made us feel like we were in the way, the table was full before our food arrived. Square or rectangular tables would be better suited to the space.
