   Our server Bella was fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. The cheese was better than some I had in France and paired well with delicious local and imported wines.

   Food and drinks were fine. Service utterly abysmal. We waited 25 minutes for our order to be taken, 35 minutes for the first course of cheese and 45 minutes for wine. Staff were disorganised, with several wandering around in a daze most of the time. Brought incorrect cheese platters to the table, took multiple requests every time we asked for bread. I can put up with slow service, particularly when a venue is short staffed and it is explained and apologised for at the start, but there's no excuse for bad or incompetent service. We were overcharged but so desperate to leave that we didn't object.

   We had the farmers plate and then chose to mix cheese with the drink. The reason for attending was for a special event. The service was good, the person serving us was friendly and tentative, but not hovering, food was excellent as we had experienced prior to COVID. If your looking for a wine bar with good food and alcohol then would certainly recommend this venue. Only downside found the live music a little loud.

   Our waiter was attentive and made the experience just that extra bit special! Great place to have a relaxed birthday without all the floppy flappy and embarrassing singing! Great cheeses and NZ red was spectacular!

   Food was absolutely amazing but the portion size was extremely small. Paid 126$ for a tiny cheeseboard and 3 meats on it and cheese fondue. Portion sizes need to be bigger but the food was outstanding. Staff very nice

    Fiest time there. Loved the concept of the Cheese and Wine flights. Great way to have a chat and sample cheese/wine. Would be nice if you also had some Tapas to supllement if one wanted to fill up for dinner as well. Tried the Farmers Board, which was OK, but an assortment of Tapas would be great Definitely will come back as also loved the ambience with 3 piece band playing. Thank you

    Half the menu wasn't available - including beers. All a bit of a schmozzle. The guys serving us did admirably to deliver countless 'we don't have that' with a straight face.

    We had amazing service, food was lovely, we sat outside and the traffic is a little busy so if you can get inside it's more suited to quiet conversations but outside is just busier life. Great spot. Will be back.

    highly skilled staff, as always. as one of the excellent waiters described the choice of cheese on my float, I cried excitedly! All and everything I could dream of in the wonderful world of cheese that Milk the Cow is and always has been.     Have had many enjoyable trips to MTC. However on this occasion service was extremely slow. I spent 2 hours there and was only able to get 2 cocktails as they were so slow at coming out. Cheese board also took about 40 minutes to be delivered with minimal bread. Asked for more bread and after 30 minutes of it not arriving, I left as I had elsewhere to be so unfortunately 3/4 of my 5 cheese board was left uneaten.

    Took my kids to Luna park for Halloween and took myself to milk the cow while I waited. What a fantastic place to treat yourself, by yourself. Staff were amazing, knowledgeable and friendly, helpful and not over the top. The food and drinks were amazing especially if you love good cheese and good wine! Had the sparkling cheese flight, a cocktail with a side of the most delicious cheese I’ve ever had and the baked Brie. Came out feeling like a million bucks having had some well needed me time. Way better than being the bag holder at Luna park in the rain. Will be back!

    Really enjoyed the wine and cheese flights with some additional items from the Farmers Board. Service was friendly, attentive and full of character. Would definitely recommend as a great spot for a light lunch extending into the afternoon.

    Customer service from one of the waiters in particular was awful. Lacking knowledge, was very careless when pouring water and spilt it all over the table. When removing a platter after we finished his hands were touching our crackers, he asked to take a plate away when it wasn't finished and he looks very miserable the whole time we were there. We also never got asked for more drinks and water wasn't filled up which made us leave in the end. For the money we spent, we expected a much better experience.

    Disappointing lack of attention to our table, especially given the place was quite empty inside. The experience here really hangs on the expertise of the staff to explain the cheese and wine pairings, and help you order a balanced set of dishes. This really lacked for us. While the dishes themselves were delicious, we felt it was a sickly combination of too much cheese and an experienced staffer should have been able to recommend otherwise. Their oven was broken so some dishes couldn’t be ordered, meaning that advice on what to order would have been all the more helpful. Fondues are definitely not an individual portion as the menu states - 2 people can share one just fine. We wish we knew that. The food took forever to come out, and a long time to actually order in the first place- I feel 60% of our time there was spent sitting with an empty table in front of us. No drinks to start were offered. Disappointing because I’ve been here a couple times before and service used to be much better, even straight after the lockdowns it was much better. I’d still recommend it to friends, bur more based on my previous visits rather than this one.

    Absolutely love Milk the cow. The staff is so lovely and kind, they really do great service. Their fondue with cheddar is my absolute favourite. Highly recommend this place.

    A good experience and the staff very attentive. However disappointed as the kitchen isn’t open on Mondays and there was no notice or information on the website to say this was the case. If we had known we would have booked another night but otherwise an enjoyable experience.
