I booked a reservation for the Beer Hall, but that information does not get relayed to the host. Since the “intake” is in the Brewpub, there was a bit of confusion at first, but the host was able to take me over and seat me in the Beer Hall. Things went smoothly after that.

Most attentive server I have ever had. Tipped him good, but honestly, he deserved an even bigger tip for his level of attentiveness when I reflect on the experience. I’ve been before and I’ll definitely come back again. The beer hall was a bright & lively atmosphere for a cloudy day with light rain, which was exactly what I planned. The noise levels never once interfered with our conversation at the table either. I highly recommend Mill Street Beer Hall.

The service was awful from Ben. We had to grab our own water glasses and cutlery and he never came once to refill water or ask if we needed anything. My friend found plastic in his burger and they were nice enough to replace his meal and take it off the bill We have been several times before and this was not their best night.

Great food - we had fish and chips, Korean chicken, puff pastry meat pie and Korean short rib and all were very good. Tried the deep fried pickle chips and they were yummy too. The only downside comment I’d make is that every single individual condiment container (ketchup, tartar and the dill pickle sauce) were all only half filled or less, so then you are flagging down a waiter for more and then waiting for more sauce. You get lots of deep fried pickle slices in the appy which is nice but very scant on the dipping sauce.

Food and service were very good. Only downside is A LOT of fruit flies swarming around our dishes. We were sitting inside, so it’s not due to anything outdoors. We spent quite a bit of time swatting then away and fishing them out of our drinks

Busy spot in the Distillery District and popular with young and old, families, couples, and travellers. The place was busy at lunchand staff were great, amenable and quick on delivery of our meals. As a pub it is noisier so anyone over a certain age would prefer another spot but pleasant overall.

The beer is always good. The setting is different from what we experienced some years ago. My husband loved his burger, I had typical bar food chicken tenders and fries - they were just okay. Most everyone was sitting outside and having a wonderful time -indoor seating wasn't the best. Love their Organic Lager and regret not purchasing some to bring back to the States.

Server was very slow, and we repeatedly had to ask another server for assistance on drink and our food order. Food was good, but not great, we had the chipotle chicken pizza and seared tuna sandwich. Pizza was good, the seared tuna seemed to have the smallest piece of tuna in it. I'd go again for drinks only.

The waitress forgot to place our drink orders… we were there for the beer obviously. We ended up cancelling them as we finished our meals while waiting. When we asked for a glass of water, she poured wanted into a used glass on the table. I guess she could not see a slice of orange sitting inside of the glass. Sigh

Went for dinner with a few friends before a play. It was 5:30pm and not too busy, but still service was very slow. The server also didn’t pay attention to the request for sweet potatoes vs regular fries and could have just left the regular fries instead of replacing them and making us wait again.

The food was pretty average and slightly overpriced. The beer however, is extremely overpriced. A beer will set you back almost 10 dollars and is quite small, unlike most pubs and breweries who will serve you a full pint for that price. In addition Mill St beers are pretty average, there's nothing special here. Two of four washrooms was out of service,.one of the remaining two did not have running water. There was also a thick sludge on the wall and floor under the hand drier Top it off with waiting 15 mins to be seated despite having reservations and being only the 3rd party in line. We won't be rushing back!

Food was terrible. The restaurant was not clean. It is in dire need of an update. It used to be better. Looks really tired and worn. On the bright side, the staff was great. Overall, we were really disappointed and we will not go there again. I don’t know why the owners let it get in such bad condition and why they are serving such uninspired meals. The restaurant was not at all busy while the other restaurants in the area were packed. I guess the word is out.

We choose Mill Street Brewhouse for the convenience - easy to gather with friends, lots of tables, great outdoor patio - but not necessarily for the quality of the food. The food is consistently mid-range - what you'd expect from a high volume brewhouse. On this visit the service was friendly but less than effective. 2 of our 5 diners didn't receive the soup they ordered. The server noticed half way through our meal and said the soup would be out shortly and the soups would be "on the house" . A fair gesture, except the soups never came. Perhaps it was the brunch crowd on a Sunday, but we had to leave to make it in time for the start of a show, and 2 of my friends left hungry.

We were seated right next to a large corporate event and all we could here was their microphone so it was not the best experience. I had the chicken tenders and there was too much breading on them for my taste - more breading than chicken. The fish and chips, burger and pulled pork tacos that my friends had were all great.

Loved my Falafel Buddah Bowl there. It is so yummy! Only issue was going to the bathroom and it being mostly out of soap. Then looking at the large sink and it had a HUGE build up in it that didn't look like it was cleaned properly in a VERY long time. I told the front desk about both.

Would not put on Blue Jays game even though Blue Jays game was playing in the other side of the bar. Said they had many requests for the hockey game and they only had one satelite. The hockey game didn't start for another hour. This is the manager who said this.
