Great pub food for good pre-Flames game atmosphere and good happy hour prices.
Thank you for leaving a review and the positive feedback. We work hard to ensure we are the place to be for Flames games, pre, during and post!
The waitress was very good, but ambiance was lacking. Asked to watch hockey game but TV's kept changing..
David, Thank you for leaving a review. We generally strive to always have Flames games on with sound and apologize for the mix up. We will ensure this is not an issue for future games.
Great spot for a fresh pint and food before the Flames game!
Dave, Thanks for the review. We focus on ensuring guests can have a great pre and post game experience from service to food service times. Glad to hear we hit the mark for you.
Much better than my last visit, service was quick and attentive, food came quickly and was very good and the happy hour is a great deal!
Chris, We appreciate you coming back and happy to hear we improved upon last visit.
Great food and Happy hour
Thank you for leaving a review. We strive to provide a competitive and quality happy hour menu!
It's become out go-to spot for pre-Flames game. Happy hour gets you food specials and $5 draft.
Jon, Thank you for the feedback. We are always looking to provide a great pre and post Flames game experience.
It was VERY loud in there and my husband and I were sat closely with other tables and couldn’t hear each other and had to yell to hear one another. Good beer.
Went before a hockey game and although it was packed our server was great and our drinks and food came quickly. Liked everything we had, although would skip the root beer wings next time
Thank you for the review and for choosing Mill Street as your Flames pre-game choice!
Food is great, service is awesome and great selection of beer.
I have been here before and it has been fine but the service this time was very poor. It took 10 minutes for the server to come to the table at the beginning and it was half an hour after sitting down before my beer arrived, an order of food beat it out to me. The poor and slow service continued for the rest of our stay. The food runner constantly trying to find the right table for food became a source of entertainment. Food and beer good as usual and a very good happy hour, but if the service dies not pick up I would be hard pressed to keep going there.
Good beer - terrible food
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
Good place to stop before a Flames game. Happy hour food pricing is great.
Great spot for before a flames game, something for everybody. Great service
Servers weren’t very friendly but otherwise a great place for happy hour.
Great time great food great drinks
Great brew-pub for happy hour with cheap eats and all beers $5 until 6pm. Will definitely return.
We loved it the experience. the server was amazing
The beer was great and as a vegetarian, the kitchen was willing to make some changes for me, which I appreciated. The server was friendly and attentive. Food was good.
The food was outstanding, the restaurant could have been cleaned better and the music was a little on the loud side but that would not deter me from going back. Great food and great beer.
Great ambiance and the beer was great! Our group was split on the food - from good to great depending on what was ordered. Unfortunately our server was a bit slow. We'd go back again and try some other dishes.
Great place to go before a concert at the Saddle Dome and the do resos, so bonus!! Food was great and we got there before 6 so ordered on happy hour. Menu has lots of choices. Nice atmosphere. Unfortunately our server was mediocre, nice enough girl but splashed the drinks around setting them down...just not quite with it.
Regardless we had a terrific time. Will go back.
Adult family night out. Service/Beer was good with lots of options. Food not so much. Way too salty as it pushed us past the point of drinking beer and could only have water to eliminate the salt.
My husband and I go to Mill st alot! It always ends up being our go to if we can't figure out where to go. You can't beat all day Happy hour on sundays! Food is good, beer is great and the atmosphere of the place is what always gets us! One thing I would change, being in the industry myself, the servers lack of urgency. I understand sometimes they have to pour their own beer, but we've dealt with a lot of servers that just take their sweet time. They're always friendly, never rude, so it's never bad, just slow.
Happy Hour is the best! Love the potato salad - yum!
Thanks! Inhad a great time celebrating my birthday at Mill St!
We have been back a few times now. Whether out with friends or for a family meal, there is a place for everyone! Great food, amazing selection of beers and reasonably priced. We will be back again and again!
Great night watching the Raptors
Great food, good service, good location, nice ambiance. Sure to become a favourite!
Great evening, awesome happy hour
Met up with a friend before the Metric/July Talk concert, as it’s the best happy hour in the city and she hadn’t been before. Service and food as always were great (the Mill Street burger is the best value for money in the city during happy hour, no question), and despite that we didn’t wait that long for our food, they comped us our meals as they said the kitchen was backed up (which was appreciated, but surprising and not at all necessary). The manager on duty also came by to apologize for the delays and check in, which was a nice touch.
Decent food and experience good lunch
Good food for a pub, great happy hour specials. Really good beer selection
Mill Street is a fun place with great food and great drinks. The beer selection is always abundant and they have rotating flavours so there is always something new. Beer is brewed onsite and and you can even get a small taste what is conditioning and or up and coming if you ask.
Sad to see that Lemon Tea beer was discontinued, it was an iconic Mill Street Beer that was incredible for spring/summer enjoyment. Beer was great. Was excited about Montreal Smoked Bison Reuben, but the flavor profile missed the mark by a lot. It has a lot of potential, but the meat needs to be cut thicker and more of it on the sandwich. You literally could not even taste it, which defeated the purpose of the sandwich. Was like a grilled cheese with Sauerkraut on Rye.
As a lover of French Onion soup, I was very impressed and will have as my side every time I eat there.
Our wonderful server really made our night! We were a large and noisy group celebrating a colleague's birthday, and were never left wanting. She even told a joke and did a pretty good Floss dance when challenged, so seriously went far and above on the experience factor.
Food was kinda average (schnitzel was the best thing), and mostly what is expected from a bewpub, but it was more about the beer and friendship anyways.
We will definitely be back. Mill Street might actually even be our new favourite place! Thank you again for accommodating our group and being so great to us.
Brigitte and friends.
Happy hour has great value! Kudos to the staff and Benny the brewmaster! The house made beers are top notch.
Among the best brewpubs in town.
I recommend to pay a visit; you will not regret it.
Very nice time for st. Patrick’s day
Food was great and great value at Happy Hour. Great decor but music was too loud for me. Server should have warned us right before happy hour was ending (servers normally do this), missed our last happy hour round.
They had overbooked and gave our open table reservation to someone else even though we had arrived exactly on time. I had confirmed the reservation online through the open table reminder and still there was no table for us. They did accommodate us upstairs however we were the only ones there and it definitely took away from the excitement and ambience of a pre hockey game beer and food. I would go back and give it another try but if this happens again, that will be it. The food and beer was tasty and the service upstairs was good, they didn’t forget about us but it felt secluded. The vibe downstairs was much better.
