I made a reservation through Open Table at Mimi & Coco’s Bistro. It was accepted. When we got there they told us we were not allowed in because there was a private party! I’m very disappointed that they didn’t contact me before we went there!!!

We weren't especially hungry so just had appetizers, salads and drinks. The best calamari I've ever had, light and non-greasy breading and wonderful dipping sauce. Salads were very good, everything very nice. We sat out on the patio and it was lovely.

We started with the calamari fritti which were cooked perfection. They could have been improved with a little salt and pepper in the batter. For our second course we had the Dover sole with a white sauce and capers and it was also quite delicious. They have an extensive wine list and wines by the glass are available if you ask because they're not listed on the menu.

We like this place alot. Great ambiance and excellent service. A bit pricey, however considering the competition and surroundings, I can deal with it. Very attentive owner and same goes for the staff.Nice outdoor patio, with view of the lake as good as it gets.

Excellent service. The grilled octopus and scallops were our starters and were fabulous. The lamb and sea bass were succulent and flavorful. Alex the owner is always hospitable and the entire staff is friendly and very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant that overlooks beautiful Lake Las Vegas.

My wife wanted creme brûlée for her birthday so we decided to try this restaurant. It had a great view and Luka, our waiter, was the best waiter we have ever had at any restaurant anywhere in the world. The escargot and calamari were very good. The Caesar salad was prepared differently as it was not tossed in dressing but the whole head with a Caesar drizzle with anchovies on the side. ..quite delicious. The dessert of course did not disappoint. The creme brûlée had a citrusy taste to it and most excellent. We will definitely go back.

I was really excited to try this place. The food was by far the worst italian food that I had. Being that this was for a special birthday celebration I was very disappointed. Will I go back to try it again, I don't think so. Best thing about the place was the view overlooking the lake...

Amazing night at Mimi &Coco. Exceptional service, staff and food. Service done the way it's supposed to be. Attentive yet unobtrusive. Always there just three seconds before you think of them. Reminds me of the better family run restaurants we have visited in Italy! Food was great. A simple Caesar salad that had a gentle anchovy flavor pervasive in the dressing, risotto that was LOADED with seafood, Veal that melted in your mouth and a lovely house Cote du Rhones for $30. GO HERE WHILE YOU CAN!

Very enjoyable dining experience. Lake Las Vegas is making a comeback, and this restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. The wait staff makes it a fine dining experience.

Best ambiance in Lake Las Vegas, Romantic directly on the lake with a view of the Ponte Vecchio Bridge... We started with the Escargots and Grilled Octopus both extremely flavorful and tender. For the main course we had the Branzino that was filleted table side, great presentation and also the scallops . Great wine selection. We tried a bottle of Avalon. Wow! Vito our waiter was very friendly and accommodation , as one of our friends was gluten free. Love everything about this restaurant and so thrilled to have them in Lake Las Vegas!

Can't say enough about Mimi and Coco. Just outstanding in every way. Outstanding service, wonderful outdoor patio overlooking the lake. Among our favorites were Steak Tartare, Fried calamari, doen to perfection with no grease, Salade Nicoise, loaded with anchovies, frech sea bass, deboned and filleted table side. The side order of house potatoes was exceptional. So was the bread. Creme Brulee a killer ! Keep it simple.....go there.
