   Everything was perfect! I wanna go there again! But warning, if you eat big portions of food, you may need to find another place. With three people, we ordered 6 foods, but we were still hungry! But the food quality, atmosphere, service and other things were terrific!

   Service of waitresses was great! Drinks were not tasty or original, very basic and overpriced. Food was very basic as well in terms of flavour. Way to expansive rolls for the rice/fish ratio. Mostly rice and a small piece of fish on top that could barely be felt because of so much rice. Wish the rolls were warmer and more original in terms of flavour combinations. For the price of each piece, we expected WAY more originality and quality.

   Beautiful space - incredible server and service. Food left something to be desired. Rice was too dense - osho sushi preparations had way too much rice and way too little fish to the point that you couldn't taste the fish. Unfortunate - as the, space, with good food, would be a winning combination.

Having seen your bill I think there are other products which you may find more satisfactory should you visit again like our aburi-style nigiris and specialty rolls.     Excellent overall- too much noise level for a high calibre restaurant such as this. But the food was outstanding- go for the chef’s menu with the upgrade to Waguy beef you won’t regret it!

    We ordered the tasting menu, which was a disappointment. I have been to this establishment a number of times and always ordered from the dinner menu. Yesterday, I invited 4 other friends here (after raving to them about how good the food was) –we figured we'd try the tasting menu but it's a huge disappointment. I'd recommend incorporating some of the key elements from the dinner menu into the tasting menu as what we had wasn't quite disappointing.

    I was impressed with the extensive menu. The cocktails were delicious. My guest and I cleaned our plates as the mains and sides were exceptional. We had a show to catch and the service was timely and not at all rushed. I will definitely be coming back, and often.

    My son picked this restaurant for our Special Mother's Day dinner. We had an amazing time, we had a really nice table in the corner of the bar area. The food was excellent and our waitress was extremely pleasant. We created great memories in this beautiful place. I would highly recommend this place for family dinners, dates and even business networking!

    We got the calamari appetizer and the chef’s tasting menu, everything was delicious. We enjoyed the Minami roll and Salmon oshi the most and will definitely come back for that.

    Had an exquisite birthday dinner with family. The service was excellent, the food was awesome. It fills your tastebuds and palate with joy! No pun intended to our server named Joy! She was wonderful and explained every detail of our dinner. We had the Chefs Tasting menu paired with Sake and wine. It was splendid. Thank you to the team at Minami for a lovely experience.

    Been to Minami in Vancouver a few times. My first time at the Toronto location. The fish was fresh and the taste good but not as tasty as Minami Vancouver. Service was attentive.

    First time here and will be coming back. Unfortunately I don’t eat raw fish but had the calamari and sable fish. I wish there was more for it was so yummy. The flavours were amazing. The drinks were well balanced. Will come back for sure. My friend had the raw fish and didn’t complain so I’m sure it was good.

    We had high expectations for this restaurant as we have been previously to others in the Aburi Group. SERVICE: 1) We were met enthusiastically at the door by the floor manager. He was friendly and attentive upon arrival and came to check on us a couple times. He did seem very busy attending to the whole dining room and managing the staff. 2) Our waitress, Chloe, came quickly initially and attended to getting us water. It went downhill from there. She did not return for an extended period of time, not for a drink order or our food order. The restaurant was not particularly busy but we assumed she must have had other tasks. When she returned, we had questions which she seemed to be guessing the answers to (we only know as her responses did not seem to match what we saw being served to other tables). She was not very attentive or knowledgeable, forgot items, rarely came and did not make us feel overly welcome. We expected a higher level of service for the caliber of restaurant. FOOD: 1) The cooked dishes were fantastic. Two Wagyu plates were ordered and the steaks were done perfectly. The presentation of these dishes was also very nice, almost theatrical. 2) The oshi was flame seared and tasty. The rice did not hold together but overall, the salmon and tuna oshi were nice bites. The sashimi was buttery soft but fishy. The rolls and sushi however were not up to par. Again, the rice didn't hold together very well and the rolls were very small. The quality of the fish was average. There was nothing that set these rolls apart from any other sushi restaurants. VALUE: For two adults, one 17 year old male and one fifteen year old female, our bill came to almost $500. We ordered one alcoholic and three non-alcoholic beverages. The kids were still hungry afterwards. VERDICT: Although there were some highlights to the service (manager) and the meal (steaks), we will not be returning. For this price point or less, there are much better restaurants serving similar cuisine.

    Excellent spot for a gathering of friends or a date night. The food was outstanding. Presentation, freshness and above all taste. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. Ask for Joy. Her knowledge of the menu will impress you. We had her take the lead and order for all of us and we were all impressed. Definitely a spot we will be returning to. Well done Minani.

    Not a traditional sushi restaurant. Unique menu items at premium prices. Not looking to get filled and test out unconventional tastes, then I would recommend a try once. Not a repeatable experience.

    It went beyond what I expected. We had the dinner menu and had nigiri and sushi to start, highly recommend the Minami roll and Albacore Oishi. The wagyu just melts in your mouth and you can feel the effort and precision placed in every dish. You're paying for the quality, doesn't mean you'll be stuffed but you will for sure be satisfied.

    The food here is amazing, and the service by Rachel was excellent! It is a pretty good value too if you compare it to other Japanese restaurants for very creative tasty food. My only small complaint is that we were seated near the doorway when you first arrive, and it is cold and breezy, and a bit noisy there.
