    We were rushed through our appetisers as well as throughout. Waiter forgot about our miso soup which we were so liked to start our dinner with. Edamame dish was very small. Mushroom appetiser was delicious albeit with some ordinary everyday mushrooms. My companion liked her salmon dish but I hated my octopus grilled at room temperature. It smelled the uncleaned grill. We love Japanese cuisine but will go elsewhere the next time.

    The sushi was quite good, especially the salmon oshi. But the chicken had a bitter taste, not sure if it’s burnt.

    Amazing place to eat! Food is melt in your mouth good and the service is outstanding. Waiters go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The atmosphere is nice! They bring a d.j in on certain days and it adds to the overall experience, especially being a part of the entertainment district

    Excellent food, but way too much surrounding noise. Quick note: they forgot to serve the wine before the food. Besides of that, an absolute fantastic food experience

    We had a great experience here. Food was fresh and tasty! Definitely recommend the torched sushi yummy and the salmon just wow! Also their banana cake dessert to die for. Only needs improvement would be short rib, good flavours but very dry.

    Food came out really quickly and every dish was explained to us. We celebrated a birthday and the hostess and our waiter knew and acknowledged it. We sat on the patio which was close to the street but it wasn't too noisy, would probably sit inside on our next visit so we can experience that as well. Chicken and foie gras dish was very good as were all the types of sushi we tried. They also have a variety of specialty cocktails that are worth trying.

    It wasn’t worth the cost. Over $500 for two people with the tasting menu and two mixed drinks each. Delayed service. Food was ok - I would have been more satisfied with more attentive service and feel the value was more of $300 max for the food and drinks we had. I have paid upwards of $700 at other places for two where the food and service made it feel like a good value.

    Food was normal. Menu very similar to Miku. Can taste that one shrimp sushi the shrimp is not fresh but could be just that one. Waitress definitely need more training on knowing the menu and how to serve a bottle of sake in proper amount. Overall okay for a quick bite.

    The food was good, It’s a bit pricey but it’s ok. The lady who brought us to our table was not that accomodating, she did not even smile. We celebrated our wedding anniversary that night but none of them noticed it, despite I put a note when i did the reservation, but it’s ok, i guess they don’t really read or noticed that part of the reservation. I don’t think i want to go back there.

    The experience was great. We opted for the chefs menu. It was a wonderful conversation piece to our date. The service was friendly, efficient, and she explained each dish beautifully. It was a really beautiful evening. Thank you.

    Thoroughly enjoyed an evening of delicious food. Only criticism was an intrusive soundtrack. Coffee arrived cold but was swiftly and charmingly replaced with hot coffee.

    Delicious all around! Oshi sushi was fabulous (salmon, albacore, yellowtail), wagyu sushi is totally worthwhile, otoro with caviar was the highlight. Looking forward to trying some of the hot dishes next! Oh, and Dale was delightful :)

    Food and service was excellent. We had a selection of Oshi, Nigiri and signature rolls. All were very fresh and delicious. I never tried A5 before so had to get some..it just melts in your mouth. My wife who doesn't eat a lot of red meat - loved it! But the standout was the ebi Oshi. The flavours just popped, especially the lime. It was the single best bite of the night. It was our anniversary- so they provided some coconut sorbet on the house, which was very thoughtful. Our server gave us so many recommendations and helped guide us through the menu, she was amazing. The only downside were the cocktails...we tried the unique cocktails but my miso-espresso cocktail was too strange but my wife's lychee cocktail with cotton candy was good (tad too sweet). It was a great meal and a start to a great evening.

    I will never not stop going here, great service, amazing ambience, lovely drinks and the food is absolutely stunning. Don’t Walk, don’t run, fly to minami! Definitely a place to be if you haven’t and I can comfortably say it would have a Michelin star if the program was launched in Canada.

    Nice place, atmosphere is open and comfortable with high ceilings. The prices are high and the quantities are small. There were no lower cost options on alcohol.

    The Japanese Hamachi was not fresh and we asked to exchange. They said the whole lot looks like that. We visited the one in Vancouver, it was a much better experience. With the same price and a lesser quality, will not recommend. If they do not improve, I wonder how long they can last?
