   The chef's tasting menu was delicious, I think a few more vegetables with the land and sea main would be nice. But overall everything tasted fantastic and the service was excellent.

   Can't really place an accurate review as we were only here for apps on this particular visit. However; I would want to acknowledge our server (don't know her name) for being an easy-going, non-judgmental individual, who brought positive vibes from the moment we sat down until we left. We had to catch a show, so our server suggested some delectable shareables we could have to make sure we were in and out quickly. I would definitely recommend Minami Restaurant just for her kind of service. I wish everyone in the service industry in Toronto we as nice and kind as our server during this visit.

   This restaurant is lovely, had a dinner date with three of my girlfriends, and as we ordered shareable, they were delivered when ready, was a very easy, relaxed environment. The drinks and food/sushi was fresh, tasteful and pretty. It’s on our list for dining out again. Thank you!

    We had a lovely dinner at Minami. We opted for the chefs tasting menu and our server was amazing and full of information. Our favourite part of the menu was definitely the sushi. Amazing bites ! We didn’t find the surf and turf course blew us away but if we were to go back we would definitely order the sushi dishes again! It was a bit expensive but definitely an experience.

    Everything we had was delicious - keeping both a vegetarian and meat-eater happy. Loved the Salmon Oshi and Evie Oshi - it was creamy and delicate. The O-toro was also good but not as memorable. The plate of garden salad rolls was a beautiful arrangement with a variety of pieces. The vegetable nigiri was delicious. We both were delightfully surprised by how good the Miso+Caramel+Espresso cocktail was - not overly sweet and a nice hit of caffeine. The best part was the excellent service - our server Joy was knowledgeable, friendly, made great suggestions and wasn’t pretentious. A worthwhile experience that had us excited to go back!

    This was our first time dining at the Minami. We are sashimi and sushi lovers … we ordered sashimi - were fresh but super thinly sliced and rolled … spice salmon roll was really good ! We also ordered special rolls : Minami roll was ok , nothing special … Kaisen Roll was truly special, outstandingly delicious, so we re- ordered another one. We also ordered tuna spicy roll and it was unexpected disappointment… it had cooked flaked tuna type salad instead of raw tuna that we expected … we double checked the menu and found “sous-vide spicy tuna” detail that we missed but … it was a disappointment … The service was outstanding . Overall we felt that it was overpriced for what we got, so I am not sure if we would go there again.

    Amazing service with the best sushi I’ve had. I booked in advanced all the way from New Jersey and having this restaurant as a destination point was worth it. The service was great and the staff was friendly and passionate about the food. Would definitely come back every time I visit Toronto.

    Nice experience with quality food except for the edamame who seemed old and too cooked. All the dishes were really good otherwise but quantity was small for the price. I would go back to try different things.

    Such delicious food!!! Really enjoyed ourselves and the staff was great. However the time between serving the food was slow and one washroom stall had toilet paper issues (it was stuck, so I had a Seinfeld moment).

    Had an excellent time at Minami. It was my fiancée's birthday and it was the perfect dinner experience. The service was top-notch with the wait staff being very helpful and attentive. The food was great both the traditional nigiri as well as the torched aburi style sushi. Would definitely recommend coming here and will absolutely be going again!

    Came here for a birthday dinner before attending a show. Absolutely loved everything we tried. All food here just melts in your mouth. And service was incredible.     We like the interesting choices on the menu. The staff are always willing to explain the different dishes beforehand and when the meal is delivered, what is on your plate is explained too. Noise level never interferes with table conversation.

    Spent over $100/pp and left still very hungry. The portions were ridiculously small for the price. Cocktails and ambiance were lovely but wouldn’t recommend for dinner.
