Chez Minton, nous voulons vous recevoir comme nous le ferions avec amis et membres de notre famille. Établi dans la maison historique Greenbank construite en 1860, le Minton se situe au cœur des Cantons de l’Est, près des producteurs, artisans locaux et des plus beaux points de vue du Québec. Nous sommes fiers de vous recevoir et vous invitons à venir découvrir notre belle région du lac Massawippi.
Dans une atmosphère bucolique et feutrée, nous vous proposons une expérience gourmande orchestrée par le chef Simon Proulx.

Dû à un nombre important de clients ne se présentant pas à leur réservation, nous sommes dans l'obligation d'instaurer de nouvelles politiques de réservation. Nous vous contacterons préalablement à votre réservation pour obtenir un numéro de carte de crédit. Aucun montant ne sera prélevé mais des frais de 50$/client seront exigé en cas d'absence. Nous serions reconnaissant de nous avisez MINIMUM 48h à l'avance pour toute annulation/changement afin d'éviter les frais.

Ne pas se fier au prix du menu sur internet qui dit 110$ par personne, car il est 125$. Avec les à côté vous pouvez vous retrouver avec une facture de 500$ et plus avec le tip. Mais les plats étaient sommes toutes très bons!

Minton is one of our favorite places to eat. It’s more than a meal, it is an experience. The flavors are incredible and the service is top notch - professional yet warm and welcoming. Ever since eating there the first time in 2019, I have dreamed of going back and we finally did last weekend. I literally cannot recommend this place enough. Recommend asking for chef’s choice. They will treat you right. Enjoy!

Minton was truly an extraordinary experience! We were greeted by Louis who was also our server. He was extremely knowledgeable about the food and the wines. His welcoming and friendly demeanor made the evening even more special! One member of our party had several food allergies and they went out of their way to accommodate her. I cannot say enough positive things about Minton. The dinner was absolutely delicious and each course was a visual culinary delight. Most Highly recommended!

A nice small restaurant in an old house on a country road serving reasonably priced, big-city gastronomic fare with a friendly welcome. No pretensions, just great food. We thoroughly enjoyed the 8-course epicurean adventure. All around reasonably priced.

We went for our 10 year wedding anniversary and it was a wonderful experience! The service was wonderful. The food was incredible. The wine pairings were excellent and very unique. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Notre souper était parfait. La nourriture, l'ambiance et le service, tout était excellent. Un endroit tranquille, pas un restaurant où on ne s'entend pas parler. C'est un trésor caché. Je vais y retourner sûrement lors de notre prochain séjour à Magog. Merci encore pour tout.

Minton is a wonderful destination for those interested in a culinary exploration. Hyper-local ingredients prepared to perfection using classic French culinary technique paired with québécois inspiration. The wine pairings for the tasting menu were exploratory and perfectly chosen. The service was exquisite. The setting is intimate in an understated, inconspicuous house with the ground floor serving as kitchen and dining room.

Notre expérience à débuté avec un serveur inexpérimenté. Je sais que la main d’œuvre est très difficile à trouver mais un restaurant avec cette cote devrait opter pour du personnel qualifié. Mise en bouche ok, torchon foie gras très bien mais pour ce qui était du repas d’agneau : assiette froide, purée et légumes d’accompagnements froid mais viande était quand même bien réussi. Nous avons commander un vin pour accompagner notre repas mais il nous plaisait pas même si je suis encore convaincu qu’il était bouchonné… un vin qui goûte et qui sens le champignon j’ai jamais vu sa! Le chef a fait la tournée des tables (il en n’a 4) mais puisque nous avons retourner le vin, on dirais qu’il nous a boudé. Nous avons quand même eu une facture de 300$. À notre départ nous avons croiser le chef qui discutait assis avec des clients mais n’a même pas pris la peine de nous saluer. Bref, même si les restos sont plutôt rares dans ce coin, à éviter.

Déjà, en partant, l'endroit est sympathique puisqu'il loge dans une maison campagnarde. Les plats, cuisinés avec maîtrise, sont un petit délice en bouche. Belle découverte et l'esprit intimiste y est pour quelque chose. On y retourne.

Brunch pour se gâter avec quelques options d’ajouts à la carte telles que les huîtres Rockafeller dont je rêverai encore quelques semaines. Endroit tranquille, magnifique, convivial; je suis presque déçu de le partager. Merci!

This restaurant was recommended by friends; our experience was unfortunately a little disappointing. Although the idea or having few seats in a home setting is charming, we found the service slow, confused; the food ordinary and the menu and wine list a little scarce. I'm afraid I would not recommend this to anyone. Perhaps it was just a off night because the formula is interesting
