   It was pretty disappointing... Staff were mostly ok, a couple of them were friendly, one was very condescending to me when telling me about our jackets hanging behind us (diner style seat) he said ''no we dont do that'', I asked ''can we hang these on a coat hanger?'' ''sorry no we have none, you will have to put in between you and the lady next to you'' I had many jackets because we are two parents and two kids. Lady and her friend next to us didn't seem pleased about it. I said to the staff ''oh no, that's not pleasant for us'' , then he replied ''oh yeah oh dear, I know its not great'' then just left, haha, so rude. And hadn't even had our meal yet. Was unexpected as we had good experiences before.. Food was basically terrible.. 1) Banquet Burger was waaaaay too salty, and salad had no flavour. Over priced. 2) Turkey was basically a turkey breast on cheap bread with some sauce. Over priced again. 3) Kids bolognaise, from kids menu, was so long and the kids had no small cutlery, we had to feed them ourselves. I'm glad we brought our own things to keep them entertained. Our waitress was quite friendly, until I received the bill, then it felt like an off switch a little, that she didn't have to be friendly anymore. Perhaps I took it the wrong way because of the previous experience? Not sure 100%.. In general, the feeling was that we weren't welcome and shouldn't have come. It felt like in the end, we were eating more quickly so we could leave faster. A part of me regrets leaving a tip.. Shame as it was our son's birthday, so yeah, generally miserable experience. Not coming back sadly.

   I’ve been to Mira mira a few times and their food is great. This time though I went during my pregnancy. I asked if I can substitute smoked salmon topping with bacon instead. I was surprised when they couldn’t accommodate as this is such a simple ask. The food is still great but i would not recommend if you have dietary restrictions since they are not accommodating. Quite disappointed.

   If you guys had opened sooner, I might not have moved out of the Beach. Bravo! Went for Sunday Brunch at the “Nevada” of you know you know… Service was on point. Food was on Point. Mimosas were on point. Obviously Chef/Owner has done this before - great and long overdue spot in the Beach finally! Gracias :)

    We have been here twice. I’ve ordered the exact same thing. It was consistent to the first time which is great. Also, the buttermilk fried mushrooms for an app was delicious. As for kids, they don’t have a kids menu nor do they substitute which is fair. But if your kid is picky, better go some place else. We have a 3yr old who is picky but we ordered from whatever was best for him and modified the toppings by taking them off. Our 8yr old loved everything. Depends on your child. Not all restaurants should cater to every need. That would slow down their service time and how quickly they need get food out to serve it hot. As for price, I would say it’s fair for what prices are now at breakfast/brunch places that are top end. Reservations seem to be the norm now. But I believe they still take walk ins but it’s limited unless you get there when it opens at 10:30am. It was pretty busy by 11:30am. They do have ample seating cause there is a second floor to accommodate a bigger group. We had a group of 8. They could have accommodated more if needed. Overall, this place is great.

    Meal and service was excellent. We arrived a half hour early and were seated immediately. The noise level was high in my estimation. That is fully my issue because I’m over eighty and chose to dine with a clientele mostly under forty. Not enough to keep me away. I shall return!!

    Food and service were both excellent. Menu is much more than traditional "diner" fare, although they have that too. We had lamb ragu pasta and brined roast chicken.

    One of the best restaurants in the beach! Food is absolutely delicious - interesting, high end comfort food with locally sourced ingredients. What makes this over the top special are the people that work there. The manager, Jasmine, makes you feel so welcome and is so knowledgeable about the food. Francis is hands down the best waiter in Toronto - he makes everything fun and dining is a real pleasure again with him. Jack the bartender makes a killer margarita and always thinking about the next interesting drink.

    1/2 a croissant and 1 deviled egg (2 halves) for a main brunch meal?! This coupled with the meh (somewhat grumpy) service makes this a no return resto.

    Went for brunch, the food was absolutely delish. Definitely order the pancakes and spend the $3 to make them *deluxe*. The server (friendly guy with the great smile) was fantastic, attentive, and I eventually had to decline his attempts at topping up my coffee cup. I usually take this as the sign of amazing service at brunch - the moment you realized you've had too much coffee b/c you're on your tenth top up. You should go here :)

    Best part was the service . Harvest salad was pretty tasteless. Enjoyed my pasta dish my husband said his chicken was disappointing. Chardonnay wasn’t good miss the lovely full Oaky one they served in the summer . Had to ask for music turned down as seated under the speaker .No rush to go back .

    All I can say is that I've lived in the beach for 16 years and we've desperately needed a restaurant like Mira Mira - great food, great service, great ambiance. It is a tiny bit pricey but it's well worth it. As a resident, we've longed for a spot that doesn't rely on tourist expectations which are typically low. This place is a major score in my books in the beach and sorely needed! Thanks, Mira Mira and please stay with us!!!!

    Staff were all so accommodating.! We needed to move tables due to a situation beside us and they were so proactive we didn’t even have to ask. The oysters, salad and entrees were superb! Our special glass of ice wine to top off our celebration was delicious. Thanks so very much .

    Exceptional brunch with a exceptional service ! It was our first time for brunch and will be back on a regular basis. Nowhere else offers this level of quality food in the neighbourhood. Bravo .

    Love the food here. A little on the pricey side but worth every penny. Don’t ever take the burrata off the menus. Eating outside in the summer months is the ultimate experience. The downstairs is more vibey than the upstairs but still very nice. We will be back time and time again.

    Food was alright, service was good. The place is gorgeous and the drinks were terrific. Some of the dishes were hit or miss, they were either flavorful or flavorless. The potatoes were so dry and bland. I’m not sure why the chef does not like modifications. I would understand them not wanting to add extra things to their dishes, but asking to not have specific ingredient is very odd. I assume the meals are not taken out of a box and heated up, so if I don’t want a certain vegetable… just don’t add it?
