The chefs menu for a fixed price was a wonderful surprise, we got way more than we expected. Was delish!
Great ambiance and service
Mira is by far my favourite restaurant. Their ceviche is to die for
It was lovely.
Valentines Day dinner - was very excited to try Mira, because I love Peruvian food. Really cool spot, with friendly, knowledgeable staff. I was immensely impressed that, even though we changed our reservation, they transferred the Valentine’s Day message from the first reso, without me saying a thing; amazing attention to detail!
Food wise, the dishes were hit or miss. Red snapper ceviche, truffle mushroom entrée and extravagant sorbet dessert were knockout dishes, where we got innovation and fantastic flavours. The more rich dishes of the lamb and the beef heart, while recommended to us, only had one flavour coming through, where we were hoping for more dynamism. The tuna ceviche was decent but overly spicy and citrusy which overpowered the delicate, high-quality tuna.
Overall we were extremely impressed and had a wonderful time, but for its price point we expected all of the food to impress, not 50%
Everything we ate was awesome ! The service was great, as well! The only draw back was that the music was too loud and you were seated too closely to other customers.
The food was amazing! They catered to my dairy sensitivity and the staff were very friendly and never missed a beat!!
It was good. Service was amazing. Food was also delicious but the portion sizes are on the smaller side!
My overwhelming feeling is that it was overpriced. Two of us ordered 3 snacks and a drink each and the bill was $110 before tip. The corn was delicious, but it was a small portion for $17. I think the corn at La Carnita is better value. The concord grape sauce on the cauliflower was good, but there wasn’t much of it, so again for $17 you’re left with a small portion of relatively plain grilled cauliflower. The red snapper ceviche again is a tiny portion and really all you can taste is the citrus acidity, so you’re better off going to Latin Taste in Kensington and getting a big bowl full for half the cost. The pisco sour was very good, even if a bit pricey. A shot of pisco, one egg white and two limes worth of juice should not be $17. Finally, we ordered a glass of Spanish wine, the waitress talked my gf into getting 9oz, and they charged $27 for 9oz of a bottle of wine that retails for $18. After spending $120 or so, we left hungry so we stopped at Bahn Mi Boys on the way home.
Fabulous food and outstanding wait staff. We would definitely return.
Great inspired Peruvian food, some of the traditional dishes came w a twist! The service was excellent, the waitress really knew the menu and took her time explaining / recommending! Thanks for helping us celebrate our anniversary w complimentary champagne and a cute note on the dessert!
Really loved every single thing we ate, especially the ceviche, though the portions were definitely a little small for what they cost. The cocktails and wine were also delicious.
Liked our server a lot, she was wonderful.
The atmosphere was busy and cheerful (and this was early evening on a weekday), but not too loud and we really enjoyed the music that was playing.
Overall, I'd love to come again someday despite the cost!
A unique Peruvian dining experience in Toronto. The menu is Peruvian with some Japanese influences. The dishes are smaller, and more like shareables. The flavors were unique. HIghly recommend the ceviche, which was very fresh!
Very good food! Portions are deceivingly heavy. Make it a point to check with the waiter prior to ordering. Peruvian Chocolate Dessert was heavenly!
Exquisitely prepared dishes, a true culinary delight. Highly, HIGHLY recommend.
Phenomenal experience - great food, service and atmosphere!
Fantastic place to try authentic Peruvian cuisine, which is served tapas style. Drinks are a little pricey but I recommend starting with a pisco sour.
Fantastic - chefs tasting menu was incredible, tonnes of food, and delicious. Great atmosphere / vibe.
Amazing food! Great service! Fun music! Did the tasting menu for $85/ person and had so much delicious food delivered to our table. Absolutely loved the place!!! Would definitely return.
Wonderful experience at Mira. I've been quite a few times and the food is always fabulous. Our server, who's name I have regretfully forgotten, was truly wonderful. Very knowledgeable, attentive, and pleasant. She was a little heavy on the sell for the prefix/taster experience (I think it was new) but after we declined she was helpful in choosing the individual items. By 830 or so the music ramped up and it became quite energetic - a slightly different ambience to when we arrived around 7pm but not so overpowering that conversation was difficult. All around, a very good experience.
Amazing food and ambience, could work on the playlist to be a little more authentic! Overall great experience would come back!
This place is amazing! The food was delish, too bad the portions aren't a little bit bigger though :(. But I'll be back again!
Excelent food but waitresses check in too many times.
service was absolutely amazing, great variety of drinks (cocktails and wine selection). Would definitely recommend just sharing everything. no need to order individual dishes.
Nice place. Stay away from the jalea, but the lucuma mousse brought tears to my eyes. So Peruvian and amazing...
Went there for my partner’s birthday not knowing what to expect. And truth be told, I was blown away. The cocktails were fantastic. The food was delicious. And the service impeccable.
Will definitely come back.
The dinner was for a bday celebration and I specified it on my booking but the restaurant didn’t provide anything special. The service was kind of slow, we had to wait for a long time just to get a desserts menu and our bill, while the waiter was busy chatting and serving the other tables. There’s a lack of waiters in the restaurants and for the price we paid for the food we expected faster, better services
Excellent food in tapas style in a unique tucked away location amongst King West brick. On the pricey side but product is high end.
The restaurant is beautifully designed with a lovely atmosphere.
Overall the food was good but some of the portions were a bit small. We had the tartare, which was good, the lamb skewer was beautifully flavoured, a bit surprised it only came with one, the yucca fries, and the broccolini, which was absurdly small but delicious!
Would return to try it again as the food was tasty and the ambience Quite enjoyable.
Nothing bad to say, incredibly delicious and a nice space.
Wonderful food, knowledgeable servers, a great culinary experience.
Very good charcuterie style. Interesting choices. Our server was outstanding.
Great evening spot for a fun evening for young adults to older adults. Came with friends celebrating her 24th and then brought my mum for her 60th and she loved it. Amazing food and great service. Recommend to anyone who loves food and eating out.
our server Alex was fantastic. cool spot. delicious dishes. thank you!
My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and the staff really made us feel special and acknowledged our special occasion. We were given a nice table and our servers (Devon and Alex) were exceptional, giving us a warm welcome, fantastic recommendations when we asked for them and didn't try to up-sell to us.
The food was amazing, with the Tostada and Mira Ceviche particular highlights! Would highly recommend! The Cerdo with ramen glaze was absolutely fantastic too and my partner really enjoyed the Con Setas also. The dessert we had was amazing too, a dark chocolate based dish that I can't remember the name of unfortunately! Again this was a recommendation from Alex and I'm glad we followed his lead on this!
We were given complimentary prosecco and wine and made to feel very important and welcome overall. The staff, food and venue are all top class.
This was a wonderful experience! I will most definitely be telling everyone about it
the service was knowledgeable and outstanding. The food was tapas style and great for sharing. It was very creative and delicious! The offerings were not your common every restaurants menu items which was fun and our servers recommendations were very helpful (and spot on!) The cocktails were very unique as well and fantastic.
The only miss was the host/ greeters. They felt awkward and not trained. They didn't even offer to take our coats (winter coats). The tables are very close together so it feels like you are dining with the table beside you. The gentlemen at the next table felt the need to apologize when he was being seated because it was SO close. And the thing was there were other tables available so I don't know why they would pile people together when it is not necessary.
I would go back for the food and the outstanding service. Thanks for making it a great date night! See you again.
Good food - small portions. Dessert was lovely, but the main courses were not filling enough.
Our Server Luis was spot on!! He was personable and knew the menu inside and out. We took all of his recommendations and had a great evening. Please extend our thanks for a job well done!!
