We had Tom as our wait staff. Introduced himself, told us about the recent upgrades to the restaurant. His recommendations on the apps, entrees and desserts were spot on. He knows his food and wine parings very well. We visit STT several times a year, and will definitely come back, and will recommend him and the restaurant to our friends on the island

The views hit you as soon as you walk into this open air restaurant, beautiful. You know how some places care about each and every plate with details on the plates to prove it. Mirador does that, the different tastes and garnishes add to every dish. Outstanding wine list to go with the menu. The locally caught Wahoo is amazing. The service was very good, the two of them, Lindsey and Tom, worked together to provide exceptional service. The meal was not inexpensive, but very much worth it if you enjoy fine dining. We recommend Mirador to anyone who enjoys a bottle of wine with their dinner. The Veal Osso Bucco was so tender no knife was needed. The recommendations on the island were very helpful also. Overall an exceptional experience.

When we first arrived, we were the only customers and we were seated outside. We ordered cocktails and asked for some stuffed olives. We were told that they only had 3 olives. We ordered dinner and appetizers, and after about 10 minutes, the power went out. After about another 10 minutes, we asked the waiter if he thought the power would return soon. He pretty much answered mocking us that how would he know. We said we were going to leave and he said, your appetizers are coming. We asked how and he said the kitchen was gas, not electric and he immediately left and went to the kitchen to get out food. He came out with our food and we said we couldn’t see anything. He absolutely threw a lantern strobe light down on the table which immediately blinded us. He kept picking it up and throwing it down in different parts of the table. When one of our guests saw something move on her plate, she said, what just moved on my plate. He picked up the lantern and directed the light towards her plate, put his finger on her food, and said it was a moth. He picked up her plate, took it away, and returned with it in a few seconds. We said we were leaving and to give us a bill for the drinks and appetizers that we never ate. He just whispered, you owe $125.00. No written bill, just verbal. I have never experienced such a surly waiter in my life. I will never return and tell everyone I know to never think of trying it. I already told the concierge at the hotel I am staying at not to recommend this to anyone. One of the worst and most uncomfortable dining experiences of our lives.
Good morning, I’m so terribly sorry about your experience. I have taken all of your comments to management to fix the problems immediately. Apologies about the power, it has been an ongoing issue for the entire USVI. I believe that is the reason there was no tangible check presented to you, again our apologies. Hopefully we get the chance to change your mind in the future.
We went here for our anniversary dinner. The atmosphere was great, the view was amazing, the service was good but the bugs out on the patio put a damper on the evening. We left with a lot of bites. But the food was really good. We’ll go back, we’ll just have to douse ourselves in bug spray before we go!

Went here to celebrate my birthday. We are here from Chicago and my in laws called ahead of time and had a credit card on file to take care of the dinner. Our server was Tom. It all went downhill the moment we arrived. Food came out wrong. My $75 wagyu filet came out well done instead of medium rare. And our server argued with us when we tried to explain that we didn't get what we ordered. But why should we care...we aren't paying for the dinner?? We got passed off to Lindsay, who was phenomenal...but she shouldn't have to pick up the pieces for the terrible service we received beforehand. Asked for a manager before I came on here...so this is for you management. Your servers are the face of the restaurant. People will come back for ok food and fabulous service. But when the food is mediocre and the service is lousy, you'll end up with an empty restaurant. Good luck.
Sunday brunch was amazing!! Food and bottomless bloody mary’s and mimosas of different flavors!! Hanna was wonderful!! So pleasant and knowledgeable with great stories!! Wish we were staying long enough to go again but we will be back!!

My wife and I chose this place on a whim and made the reservations day of (we were here in the off season, would not recommend trying same day reservations) in hope we would have a date night before we left back for the States and both of us were blown away. Excellent atmosphere for a date night. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Our cocktails were wonderful and our entrees were outstanding. If you are looking for a truly special place to just enjoy the company of the one you love and share both a meal and an experience, this is the place.

Views are amazing, food was outstanding and the service excellent. We will return here very soon. This is one of the nicest restaurants on the island. The papaya salad and the bread we are still talking about.
We did not expect our bottled water for free :). Chef Benny does a great job at Mirador. We look forward to many more meals with him.

We ate at Mirador and loved everything about it. The details of the food, which our server presented with each course, are amazing. The combination of the flavors are thought out and executed to perfection. The service was outstanding, prices were what we expected for the level of the meal.
The recommendations were spot on both for the food and for the island. You can tell the staff likes their jobs and it shows. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our experience.
We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes to eat out at nice restaurants.
But it is not for everyone :)

I made an online reservation for 12 at Mirador. The table was outdoors which would have been ok other than everyone getting destroyed by mosquitos. No one was on the inside and probably would have been nicer indoors. The waiter brought some Off spray for the mosquitos but it was almost empty and was of little use to anyone. My sister in law set the spray bottle on the table and was told by the waiter “we don’t put that on the table” in a nasty tone and hastily removed it. It took OVER 1.5 hours to receive our food. I ordered “lobster bisque” which was nothing more than brown looking bone broth soup. Zero lobster and zero taste. The entire night the waiter was pouring water in everyone’s glasses, keeping them full the entire night, great job right? No, when we received our bill we were charged $126 for water. $9 a bottle at 14 bottles. Never were we told water was $9 a bottle (we later found the same bottle of water in the store for $3.59). We figured it was complimentary as with most restaurants EVER. Food was decent at best but highly overpriced for the taste and portions that were served. My wife received jambalaya rice that was dry and hard and almost made her choke. Her asparagus was very bitter. The waiter seemed as if he was better than everyone else and I’m not sure why because he was a complete tool. Please Please Please save your money and go anywhere else. We have been to 6+ other restaurants on the island and they have been outstanding with much more reasonable prices and outstanding service and food. I have begun asking around about Mirador and everyone I have spoken to has rolled their eyes and said yes I’ve been there once. Trust me, we will only ever go once and very sad that we picked this terrible place for our dinner the night before our wedding. Please spread the word and go anywhere else. We should have known something was weird because there were only 3 other tables there the entire time. Experience was terrible. Very Sad!

Our apologies about the mosquitos, as it is hurricane season now and the weather brings out the bugs. We will let the entire staff aware of your concerns, both in the kitchen and with the front of house service. food portions were small, The flavor was good on puerto rican night. They do not offer kid friendly food on puerto rican night. They also charged us 36 dollars for glassed room tempature water. But the overall flavor was good.

Getting there is very challenging. Once you drive into Point Pleasant, there are no signs for the restaurant. There is absolutely NO parking!! The food was good, not outstanding by any means. Very overpriced and portions were extremely small. My daughter ordered a shrimp entree, there were only 3 shrimps! My wife ordered a rack of lamb, there were only two small pieces. The place is beautiful. The scenery is stunning. I expected a better quality of food for the price.

Very cute restaurant. Make sure you make a reservation before you go if not the service won’t be as good. Drinks were ok.
Reservations definitely help provide great service. We would love some more details as we look forward to getting better every day.
We went to the Mirador by Chef Benny for Sunday brunch and it was exceptional. Also had dinner on our last night at Point Pleasant. Our server was very attentive, and food was delicious. We were seated outside which was what we reserved, and it had a great view. Once the sun set there were a good number of mosquitos which did detract somewhat from the overall experience. Food again though was delicious.

2nd review for Mirador.. I was here 3 times in the past week so that says it all right there. Recommend the WHOLE red snapper or filet for dinner or the lobster Benedict for brunch. By the way, Hannah and Tom are incredibly friendly and perfect servers. Especially Hannah- she is so sweet and connects the food on the menu to her own life experiences and you can tell she enjoys what she does. KUDOS to the whole experience

The only issue we had was the server did not bring our palate cleanser. They were a little overwhelmed because it rained and people moved inside then outside after it stoped. No fault of theirs. But everyone around us got them.

Fantastic all around. Great food, great ambiance, and great service. They have a good variety of food available, and a very big wine list. One of the best views for dinner on the entire island for sure. We had lamb chops, salmon as our main entrees and they were excellent.

I felt the chef tried to overwhelm us with the presentation instead of the taste. And please take the white chocolate mousse off the menu...had the consistency of meringue. And please ask the building to change the bright LED lights to 2800k. They do make adjustable LED lights these days...yours were blinding. Sorry for the honesty, but isn't that what you want? Oh...the landscaping on the pathway was very well done...kudos there.
