Excellent food and service. Portions were a bit small, but the quality and taste was outstanding.
The perfect small restaurant in new york that makes me love restaurants in new york
Wandered in here with my daughter one evening and the place really stuck with me. Lovely folks, simple but imaginative food and ambience conducive to conversation.
I’ll be back.
Very good, authentic Italian food.
All the yums! Curated menu, careful and delicious preparations, reasonable portions. Lovely ambiance, a tad crowded (hello, Manhattan real estate!) Only caveat — and it’s actually a value add — is that the wait staff seem to all have fairly heavy accents, and they’re wearing masks, so understandability suffers a tad.
Our server, a legit Italian from Rimini, was multilingual, amazingly insightful on the menu and wine list, and attractive to one of us looking for her next ex-husband. We walked past this place one night and was intrigued- so when we saw it on OpenTable and could get a reservation for 5 one day in advance at our preferred early dinner time- we jumped at it. SO glad we did. All the starters and primis were a hit and we did not move onto bigger plates as all the flavors and amounts were perfect for us. The decor and smart use of space thru out the restaurant were comfortable, stylish, and creative. We will be back the next time we come to NYC!
Wonderful charming place. The food was amazing, the service was incredible.
Nice welcome, excellent food. Cosy place. A bit noisy.
Food was delicious…. The staff helpful and knowledgeable… Great experience we will return..!!
Such a great experience at Misrizzi! Intimate feeling space but not too small. The owner was working at the bar and was wonderful. We were hesitant about ordering a bottle of wine in case we did not like it so he took a good amount of time describing the options and said that if we didn't like it, he would happily get us a different bottle. The food was fantastic - I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!
Ciao Stew, thanks for the nice words, I'm glad you and your friend had a nice evening with us and that you enjoyed our food. I just want to clarify one thing, I said that if you didn't like the wine I would have drunk it but .... you didn't even leave me a sip ;-D Jokes aside, I hope to see you both again soon, there are still so many wines to try ;-) Thank you again Alessandro
A lovely local place in NOHO . Vanya, was thoughtful and charmingly professional. I felt I was dining somewhere in Europe with the lovely ambiance and fireplace. I mentioned to the host that perhaps putting a mirror on the west wall of the rear in the restaurant, will allow those sitting facing it , to view the fireplace as well. I will become a habitué here. A great local place for wonderfully light Italian fare.
The food was delicious. The cocktails are great. The server was patience, kind, and attentive. It was quiet so conversation could flow easily. I'll definitely be back!
Misirizzi is a charming little restaurant with great food, drinks, and ambience. I booked it on a whim and was so glad I did. The bread pudding was the best I've ever had. Attentive service, excellent food, and a lovely atmosphere!
The food was excellent; the service was inattentive.
I'd eaten here earlier in Covid and enjoyed it but it was nothing special. I think the owner has finally been able to return from Italy and everything kicked up at least two notches.
Service, food, vibe... just a real pleasure dine here.
Misirizzi is now at the top of my list for fine Italian food in the area.
A group of us went here for one of my friend’s birthdays and had such a blast! The back room is a really nice vibe and the food was so delicious. We were never waiting too long for food or drinks. Highly recommend for a special event!
Delicious food, however pricey for small portions. We left hungry.
very nice dining experience
Staff were lovely and warm
Food was OK at best
4 of us were early at 530 so we could talk and enjoy each other’s company before a theater performance, two wait-help were on hand and were very friendly, helpful with the menu and service.
The food was delicious and the surroundings beautiful. I enjoyed looking at the paintings that graced the walls.
Very nice evening indeed. We hope to go back,
Fantastic food and very nice staff.
Great food, very good prices for the quality. Drinks were fantastic and the service was very quick/helpful/frequent. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely ambiance, the restaurant was not packed at all but we had such a lovely date, had some branzino, some delicious pasta, great drinks. Absolutely adorable and cute, underrated!
We sat at the outside and there was fire department action so the noise level was terrible but not due to the restaurant. Otherwise, lovely.
Such a delightful spot -- pleasant outdoor seating (even in a rainstorm!) and delicious pasta.
Food was very average.
The calamari and artichoke appetizers were quite delicious. We ordered a pasta dish and flatbread to share for 3 persons, the portion on the pasta was small yet tasty. Our server was really thoughtful and made an excellent recommendation tiramisu for dessert.
Food was prepared well. Choices were good and worth trying in the neighborhood. Service was acceptable, staff was not very friendly but not rude in any way.
The food was excellent and the Hugo spritzer was so refreshing on the hot evening we dined there. Our waiter had our appetizer split in two plates which was a nice touch. The pasta was fresh and really flavorful! I’ll definitely return!
Truly a neighborhood gem. Augustine our waiter was charming. Back room beautifully lit. Branzino excellent.
Would definitely return.
Excellent staff, were very friendly and kind to the older person in our party. Greatly appreciated them and their food was great too!
Always a great time at Misirizzi. Great drinks, friendly service and food always fresh and delicious! Perfect for a date night as well. The interior is beautifully done!
This is the best Italian I ever had in homey, welcoming, cozy ambiance with warm, friendly service. The food is out of this world. I can’t believe I missed this place the last 5 yrs! It’s a must try
Very good food at a very good price
excellent service, great food, and overall great ambience
Our waiter was friendly and helpful. Delicious food. Will visit again soon.
The staff was so attentive and the food was amazing!
Food was delicious !! No AC due to having windows open did t stay for dessert for this reason .. too hot
had the bolognese and it was delicious, along with a caprese salad and the tomatoes and cheese were as fresh as can be. not an extensive wine selection but they have some very great options. the nebbiolo is a fantastic wine!
