Having been to Miso before (midweek) , we were disappointed with this trip (Sat night). 20mins to get a drink order taken, some food items ordered they had run out of. Starters finally arrived after nearly an hour only to receive the Mains 2 mins later whilst still eating the Starters. It wasn't overly busy there and no explanation as to delays, and disappointed with food quality on the night. Its tough with Wagamama standard fayre around the corner I guess, but would expect better

We have just returned from Japan and Korea and can confirm the Miso is authentic. Great menu (with pictures to help), great food and very nice people. We have eaten at Miso about 10 times since the new owner started and have always had excellent food.

It’s okay. The place is hidden a bit and the carpets and decor look tired. Service is slow. Food is good but portions aren’t filling enough (rice on the side of the Katsu is like three tablespoons). Value wise not bad but to be honest Wagamama around the corner is cheaper and quicker. BBQ on the table was good but again a lot of faffing about from the server running extension leads everywhere and even asking other diners to use theirs.

The food was fantastic and we had a lovely evening here. Unfortunately the service was quite slow to start with however once they realised we’d been waiting a while to just order they did appear to speed up a little (think we may have been forgotten!). Staff were very friendly though and also good at making recommendations since this was our first visit. Would definitely go back!

Not cheap, but a great experience, the sushi offered is always great and the korean bbq is just so unusual, the staff have always been very nice, we are going again this evening, a family favourite for special occasions

The place is tired and grubby. The food is average at best . Watch out for the 25% service charge that they add to your bill, I refused to pay .

We had the Sushi/Japanese option only - we didn't try the Korean BBQ. The food was very good, tasty and fresh. We ordered the sushi set menu for 6 and asked how big that was to ascertain if or how much hot food we needed only to be told by the rather honest waiter "I don't know, no one has ever ordered it before!". That said we took a guess as to how much hot food and rather surprisingly it arrived before the sushi. Again the food was very good. So, in summary, food excellent but delivered in the wrong order (but worked out fine), our waiter was inexperienced but tried hard and was a good laugh but the meeter and greeter needs to cheer up.
