Went for lunch with a party of 10, no one in the party had been to Miso Taco previously. What we really liked was the casual nature of the restaurant..no frills, no stuffiness, just a great place to have good eats and beverages. Now for the food, I got great feedback about the food, at first not everyone was sure what to expect. Once the food came and people starting digging in there were a lots of oohs and ahhs in a positive way. I wish I took a photo of my lunch which was a Fall special Pozole Udon with Birria. First taste and I couldn't decide if I wanted to slurp it down fast or easy does it to keep that flavor as long as I could. The udon was nice, but the broth and Birria, with the raw red onions was what made the dish. Go and try!! Bench and stool seating at communal tables, I can see this place can get loud with more people, but that's ok...it's not fine dining. Unisex washrooms, clean. Just go and try..Japanese/Mexican fusion..who would have thought, but it works.

Server forgot our appies, only ordered one main, was consistently inattentive, forgot our bill and we had to ask several times. Tacos and environment were great, atmosphere was good but chaotic even though it was not busy. They took care of appies for us without us asking as they forgot them but the appies were very bad. Fried enoki were oily as hell and not edible. Cheese and mushrooms were flavourless other than the bitter flavour from something maybe burning. Would not return.

Stumbled upon this place during their happy hour (ended at 6, not 5 like other places!). We got a bunch of single tacos for $6 and they were all amazing! Nice chill spot, no fluff with being high-end, just yummy, feel-good food.

Too saucy and salty for my liking. The mochi churro is not what I expected, it was mochi AND churro, two separate items. Not churro with mochi texture. It was nothing looks like their IG photo. It was drenched with condensed milk, way too sweet.

Great service, and trendy new restaurant. Love the decor and ambiance. Food quality was amazing, different options.. service was great, a bit pricey but affordable and you get what you pay for. Would definitely return!

I liked the birria but found the consume a bit thick. We added the instant ramen for $3 expecting it to be served in the consume and the birria to be dipped but it was served on the side by itself. It wasn’t very appealing. I was excited to try the kimchi nacho fries because I saw it all over social media but it was only ok. The fries were not homemade, they used refried beans which made the fries really soggy. We added the chicken for $3 and it was slightly burnt. Overall, it was a great concept but it wasn’t executed very well. Also not sure why but the machine to pay the bill already had the tip imputed in for me, which I found very off putting.

Came by for happy hour. Tacos were really good. We had 4 diff varieties. Spicy and non spicy. Rare to find tasty taco place I can enjoy cuz I don’t eat spicy. Will def be back for brunch or dinner. There were only 2 servers, really nice cheerful ppl but they did everything from greeting to serving to bartending so don’t expect quick service.

I need to say although everything was good once we got to the restaurant it was so frustrating leading up to it. I wanted to add 2 to our group after making the reso so I tried to increase # . Won’t allow , ok send a message to restaurant on open table . No response. Sent an email to restaurant, no response, called restaurant many different times, no response. I had to physically go down to the restaurant and talk to the chef to increase our #s Then I get a notification from open table asking if I’m coming Thursday? What? I was. a nervous wreck thinking we would get there all 10 of us without a table . We arrived Friday night snd table ready and food very good . Small issue , we were all served at different times with one person getting food after everyone finished.

They're still in soft opening mode, so no sushi yet. The cod and tuna tacos were really good. The fired enokis, excellent. Will revisit when everything is up and running.

Absolutely fantastic experience here! Service was so lovely and was always making sure we were doing okay! Food was also incredibly delicious and you really get your moneys worth! We can’t wait to go back!
