The sunset view was fabulous, our server was extremely kind and attentive and allowed for me to swap something out of a meal, which is rare these days. And the food was really incredible. Highly recommend the marlin tostada and sweet potato/kale dish was divine. Lastly, the pudding parfaits for dessert were 12/10

Have dined here 10+ times in the last. Felt tired. Highly disappointed in the cuisine. Cauliflower tasted like pure salt. Fish of the day was served cold.

Love, love the Mita Boat! Feet in the sand, beautiful sunset, excellent service ! Clarke had the grilled lobster and I had the grilled fish tacos ! Both were so delicious! We live in Punta Mita and the Mita Boat is one of our favorite restaurants !

Sorry to say this was the least enjoyable experience of our recent trip. We made a reservation through Open Table and took a private driver to the resort. Our driver was stopped twice at different gates and we had to show our ID’s and I also gave them the email confirmation. We waited so long while the gate guard called the restaurant that we were late to our reservation. When we were arrived we were met by the dining manager who immediately informed us we shouldn’t have made a reservation on-line. They prefer you call directly to the resort. Which we also tried the day before and sat in hold for 20 minutes until the call disconnected. He was rude and not at all welcoming. We were seated and then another waiter came over and continued the shaming. We should have just left at that point but our driver had left (and did not want to return due to the hassle at the gate). The rest of the meal was tense and not particularly enjoyable because we had been so rudely received. The menu, as some others have mentioned, is overpriced and not creative or inspired. We had much better food in town and far better service. This place may be expensive but they are lacking in class and guest service. The irony is that we were deciding whether to extend our stay in Punta Mita and end our vacation at the St. Regis. Definitely not. Just know that if you make a reservation through Open Table be prepared to be treated as an unwelcome outsider. The 2 stars? For a decent view and iguanas which have more charm than the staff.

Fun on the beach dining with traditional Mexican favorites- fresh fish- views were amazing- I mean you are directly on the beach and sunset is right in front of you. The value for money is just not there- almost the same price as Dos Catrinas next door at Four Seasons- and no where near the experience- you are getting the food truck experience for the St Regis price here...

Our friends and family eat at Mita Mary very often. Last night, we were caught off guard by the price of the corkage fee. We knew that we would be assessed a fee for our 2 bottles of wine. We never expected the fee to be $45 per bottle, even after all the guests bought opening cocktails. My bad for accepting a corkage fee without asking the specifics.

We stayed at the St Regis for several nights in January 2019 and dined at MMBB several times. The food is fresh and reasonably priced. I highly recommend getting there before the sun sets. We had some of the best sunsets. The service is great as well.

Very disappointing in every sense. We were looking forward to visiting Mita Mary as we loved it the first time we were there. It has definitely lost it's appeal now that they have tripled the size. The service was poor, food disappointing and ambience terrible. There are too many other restaurants to try and enjoy in Punta Mita. Don't waste your time, or money.

We confirmed a reservation for dinner with Open Table. When we arrived after a cab ride, we were told that the restaurant was closed. We learned that this has happened on multiple occasions to other people. Avoid this restaurant until they get their act together.

Restaurant was CLOSED and has been for weeks! No one ever bothered to cal and let us know that our reservation couldn’t be honored. The staff at the S. Regis were terribly rude and unapologetic. They made us pay for our drinks while we waited for our taxi to return us to our hotel.

We were excited to feast on fresh grilled fish and seafood. We heard from staff at the hotel that this is one of the best restaurants at the resort. Unfortunately, we were very dissatisfied with the quality of the seafood and the overall cooking techniques. Along with a few other items we ordered the biggest dish on the menu, the seafood platter. The scallops were undercooked, tasteless and had a rubber texture. The two lobster tails had a total of 3 to 4 ounces of meat which was a stark contrast to the three tails we had at Bahia the previous night. The lobster meat was absolutely inedible and had no flavor or firmness. The lobster, scallops and octopus must have been old or perhaps frozen. We politely complained to the manager but he seemed very surprised with our comments. 75% of the protein we order was not consumed and we ended up going back to our room and ordering room service. The management decided to treat us to a free single desert to make up for our horrendous meal. Very disappointing experience at the Mita Mary and I can guarantee we will never return.

The food was above average on some items but amazing for others. Out door cooking on the beach. Service could improve on speed but the manager did the best he could. Need more lights though as half the lights do not work. This is on St. Regis property so you would expect amazing but it was not....

Very casual waterfront dining served ala cart. Excellent food and tremendous service. Prices are high (dinner for 8 was 15,000 pesos or around $750 US before tip) but a terrific spot nonetheless.
