I usual have Chris as my waiter. He is wonderful. Last night Chris was not there. Waitress was not attentive ( and they were not busy) drinks were just ok) and food was not up to usual standards.

We keep coming back for the excellent food & relaxing ambience! Despite this, we felt that the service was rushed on this occasion and we were made to feel like we needed to leave before we were ready. For example, our waiter started clearing plates and asked us about how to split the cheque before we had all finished eating. They also started cleaning the floor around us. This seemed a bit extreme, given our reservation was for 6.30pm.

With the thought it being Thanksgiving, We were especially happy with our whole experience! It was busy, we expected that but Mitchells handled it very well. Thank you Mitchells for being open this special Holiday to serve some people who didn’t have a lot of family to share this Holiday! Thank you

It was Thanksgiving so I'm sure that played a roll in this experience but the food was cold. It took like over an hour to get it. My mom's salmon was dry. My seabass was extremely salty to the point that my hands swelled. Our old fashions were gross and watery. This was not my first time there but yesterday was my last unfortunately. Not impressed

The food is always tasty at Mitchell's but they were overwhelmed with the number of diners on Thanksgiving Day. Water came swiftly, After 45 minutes, we caught a server's eye and asked for some bread. We waited an hour for my husband's salad, which came at the same time as the entrees (so he declined it); my side dish never arrived (so we weren't charged for it). Decided not to risk ordering dessert.

This was my 69th birthday and we went to Mitchell’s to celebrate. The staff and everyone there is absolutely wonderful, very attentive and very service oriented. The food was delicious and we will come back.

Was not impressed with our service. Had to ask 3 times for waters to be filled. Had to ask her to clear our plates which had been sitting empty and pushed aside for 15-20 minutes. She forgot to take my order after getting the rest of my party’s orders. Food was excellent though.

A good experience as usual. We come to Mitchell's every few months. Usually take advantage of Happy Hour. But today celebrating 30 year anniversary. Their cedar planked salmon is delicious. Hubby had bass. Liked it fine, but he really loves their swordfish, which they did not have today. Our server Andy did an excellent job. And our food arrived amazingly fast. A good experience. Oh and also a free yummy creme brulee for our anniversary !!

Chris saved the evening. We got there at shift turnover and our waitress was in a meeting. He stayed with us the entire evening and made excellent recommendations regarding drinks. The food was excellent as usual. Thanks Chris for being an awesome waiter.

What a great lunch on a hot summer day ! The Ocean Cobb Salad was incredible (and enough for lunch and a take home dinner that saved the day when summer storms took out our power). Also had the Shanghai Sea Bass - ditto on the taste and portion size. I hadn’t been in a few years but with quality like we experienced, and great service as well, we will be back.

The food is always excellent here, as is the service! It was a quiet night tonight at Mitchell’s but it was also a quiet night around the city in general (Monday, first day of school for high schoolers etc).

Initially, it took a while to be acknowledged (at least 5 minutes) at the hostess check in, we were finally seated. After asking our server how she was doing, and her response was “I’m here”, we were concerned about how our experience would be. I will not name the waitress because her disposition was not welcoming. We decided to chalk it up as a bad day. Now our food was very satisfying. Both couples enjoyed what we ordered; sea bass with broccoli and mixed vegetables, trout with potatoes and green beans, two trio entrees with mixed vegetables, one with smashed red potatoes and one with spinach.
