Mity Nice Bar & Grill
Nice ambiance, noise level mellow and good mix of music blended well with very good food and service. Across the street from John Hancock building.
We return to Mity Nice frequently, as this is one of my favorites and top rated in all categories. The service and food are always excellent.
Moderately priced (some would say cheap for the area) and good food!
Great service. Super short wait for food. Great meal for excellent price!! Will be back!!
I've eaten here many times and the food has been excellent. This time I ordered the Ruben after they assured me that the corn beef was very lean. It wasn't. The manager came over and he was very accommodating. Not only did he adjust my bill, he also sent me home with a second sandwich which was much better.
Excellent service, food, great atmosphere and perfect location for pre-theater dinner.
My grilled cheese sandwich was SO unbelievably greasy,! I couldn’t even eat it. Got the flatbread instead but wound up getting it boxed because everyone was finished eating and I didn’t want to eat alone.
It's a great restaurant. Great food, great service. Not pricey (relative to the neighborhood).
I've been coming here for over 10 years!
Close to the Broadway Playhouse theater and to the Looking glass theatre.
Very comfortable ambience. Food was great comfort food. Enjoyable experience
Mity Nice is well-located and a reliable respite from activities on Michigan Avenue. The food is well-prepared and the service is attentive.
Regular customer at this restaurant, a very relaxed atmosphere. The food is consistent and very good quality as well.
A hidden gem with great food, great service and quiet ambiance.
White fish and chicken soup outstanding. Love the little popovers great service.
Our waiter Trevor was very nice...our first time here! The popovers are GF and delicious. I'll def go back.
Food was exceptionally fresh, well prepared, and delicious. Served rapidly by an extraordinarily conscientious and pleasant wait person. The menu is simple, much of it is what is called comfort food (what used simply to be food) but without the heaviness that sometimes imp,it’s. There’s a great kale salad, a simple salmon entree that’s first rate, and a perennial Thanksgiving dinner if you go in with a Paul Bunyan appetite.
There was a great variety of options to choose from and the food was served quickly. It was an interesting setting being hidden behind a different food court restaurant, but it was tucked away and quaint. I would go back if I’m ever around water tower place.
What an awesome find! My sister and I had dinner before the evening show at the Broadway on Chicago theatre. Our waitress was courteous, pleasant, and attentive to our needs. Had the Fish & Chips! They were magnificent! I would definitely recommend Mity Nice Bar & Grill! You won't regret it!
The food was excellent and the staff was wonderful! Multiple people asked us if we needed anything throughout the meal and we got a free flatbread amazing appetizer just for being first time customers! Would definitely go back!
Stopped for a quick dinner before a concert. Everything was fine.
Girlfriend and I were grabbing dinner before a show at nearby Broadway theater. She had the chick parm and I had the cedar salmon entree. Both were very good and my fish was well cooked. Our server was extremely nice and upon asking if we were attending a show, mentioned that we receive a free dessert. Overall very good food and great value.
Burgers were good but atmosphere much like a cafeteria or food court. Service was just fair. Only had brunch menu at noon on Saturday with no option to order from the full lunch menu.
Another great lettuce entertain you
First time visiting and it surpassed expectations!
I'm hoping this was a one time fluke..... the burger was excellent. The fries were cold and tasted like they were refried in the deep fryer to warm up... not a good experience.
I have been to this restaurant many times and usually sit at the bar and eat.
This was a business lunch with a first impression for my guest- wrong move but that was my choice for convenience. The usually delicious chicken pot pie was not only even barely warm but when the second one came it was like a bowl of warm soup with not much content.
I didn't say anything a second time as not to call attention to my guest, just had my meeting and left it there.
The super food salad is my favorite on the planet. Great server
Nice place to grab dinner before going next door to see a play. The food is good and the service is always great.
Excellent service. We were short on time to get to a show and our food was brought out promptly. Delicious gluten free options and every table gets tasty gluten free cheddar rolls. We will be back!
This has long been one of my favorite dining spots, but they were off today. Our waitress seemed absentminded, the chicken tenders tasted different, “thanksgiving dinner” tasted exactly like a Marie Collander TV dinner, which I could’ve paid far less for. The shrimp appetizer was good, though, and they still have some of the best lemonade. Hopefully, this experience isn’t a sign of things to come.
Delicious rolls to start with. The Chicken French dip is very good & happy to see it’s return. The Sonoma salad with chicken also very tasty. Not crazy about the Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon blanc wines- too sweet.
Great spot to go before a show at Broadway theater!
Relatively quiet restaurant. A rarity! Will come again.
The service was less courteous than what we're accustomed to perhaps an off night due to the cold weather. Otherwise Mity Nice always hits the spot With Antoine a most efficient Maitre D'
This restaurant doesn't disappoint. Have gone there many times and am always pleased with the food.
They were very accommodating. I always think the food is between a 3 and 4 out of 5. It's tasty and not too precious. Just fine for what we wanted.
Boring menu. Used to be better. Needs to be more creative. Good if they could incorporate some dishes from Frankie’s. Which was very good and closed.
What a great place to celebrate a special event! Our waiter Michael was WONDERFUL!! Food was delicious. And though the restaurant was quite empty, just a few tables do to it being Superbowl Sunday, we were treated wonderfully. We would definitely return.
Great first visit! Will def return.
Excellent pop-overs at the table! Fantastic restaurant week menu... excellent manager, Mike. Or first time there...I love Lettuce Entertain You restaurants!
This restaurant is always excellent, which is why I keep returning. Service was a little slower than usual today, but the food was excellent. I chose the "restaurant week" lunch, and the French Onion Soup and Croque Monsieur were excellent
