    ML Tavern is a wonderful place for a special celebration, date night or simply an upscale place to go. The ambiance and food are stellar. Service was good but they needed more servers for a Saturday. The valet was kind and helpful. My only complaint were the some of the drinks… an old fashioned with no orange peel or cherry is not really an old fashioned.

    Sole was overdone. Salmon was good. Ordered corn as a side. It was not ordered by server. Was brought when meals were finished. Mashed potatoes were enough for one. My napkin fell to floor. Was never brought new one. Server walked over one that was on floor then seemed to kick it out the way. This is second time that I was not satisfied. Have always enjoyed tavern but seems to have gone downhill.

    There is nothing on the menu the Chef doesn't do an outstanding job preparing. Edwin, the Gen'l Manager was very nice and kept in close contact with guests and his staff to make sure everything was running smoothly. Can't ask for much more.

    Nice dinner We asked for separate bills. Our waitress brought us one bill for 6 of us Not fair. The other couple had a bottle of wine for $100 They also had the lobster appetizer A It was weird. Our bill was a very expensive night. The had a cocktail and two more glasses of wine .

    My dish was soaked in butter. I Could barely taste chicken. Potatoes were uncooked. Very poor food quality and overpriced. Service was good.

    We had a lovely experience at ML Tavern last night. We were greeted at the door with a happy anniversary, even though we never mentioned it was our anniversary. We had a very delicious meal, had great service, and because we had the early dinner price, the value was very good as well. We would certainly recommend ML Tavern for a very pleasant dining experience!

    The is a very cozy restaurant with exceptional food and service. We were a party of three and all of us had filet mignon. My husband and I had the petite twin fillets and our son had the bone in filet. The steaks were prepared to perfection. The sides were also delicious. Our service was outstanding.

    Table service was accomplished, as one expects here, but the food disappointingly was hit or miss. An entree of petite filets was done perfectly, but the lobster escargot - normally a standout, was lacking any taste of garlic in the butter sauce but overwhelmed by the taste of parsley - making the lobster barely detectable. Caesar salad as well as the shared bourbon bread pudding dessert were both outstanding, and our wine choices did not disappoint. But the after-dinner cocktail (brandy alexander) selected by one guest was so strong she could not drink it. And it is worth noting that upon arrival, the person at reception did not greet us at all, barely glancing at me when I gave my name and reservation time without a word, as if we were bothering him, then noted our requested (but not guaranteed) booth seating would not be available for over 2 hours - then quickly pivoted by saying something was available after all. That said, the lack of any greeting upon arrival and the aloof interaction that followed still left us feeling strangely unwelcome in a place that normally warmly greets diners (let alone a regular like me.) Overall pleasant, but not quite up to their normal superior standards.

    Gia is a most outstanding server. She doesn’t hover, She doesn’t interfere in conversation. Her timing is exceptional. Her grace, her professionalism I have been fortunate to have her as a server before, and I hope to again I will request her. If I had one tiny tiny complained, I had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. There was very little to no fresh Parmesan cheese I would’ve liked to of had more that is it everything was great!!

    Sole was delicious with the tomatoes but a bit too much sauce for me…don’t remember the sauce from before. But we will be back and I’ll remember! Brussel sprouts and salads and hamburger excellent!

    Great atmosphere and service. Food was very good. Matre de was excellent, along with Sofia, our waitress. Only complaint was with ladies room. The soap dispenser squirted all over my wife's pants and suede shoes. Hopefully the shoes will recover.

    The food was divine! The bread and butter was the best we ever had. The beef carpaccio was delicious. We each had a steak and it was heavenly. They also had a nice wine selection. Definitely will be back!

    We started at a table that had cold draft. Grant was happy to move us. Had awesome meal and service to match. Our serve Mary was superb. Attentive and fun.     ML is a fantastic a restaurant. Everytime I have been there the food was excellent, the service super professional, the ambience wonderful. This is one of favorite places to go! Th chocolate martini is soooooo good!

    ML Tavern- A Match Made in Heaven My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at ML Tavern in Moreland Hills, Ohio, and it was a match made in heaven! I had called ahead to see if we could get a better table than the high-top we had booked online, and the maître d’ was incredibly accommodating. Even though he couldn't promise anything, he managed to seat us at a patio table next to a fireplace, covered in fresh rose petals and complete with a congratulatory card. Our waiter and his partner were also aware of our anniversary, and they went above and beyond to make our evening special. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was romantic and inviting. Overall, ML Tavern is an LGBTQ+-friendly establishment with amazing art and an even more amazing staff. They underpromised and overdelivered in the best possible way, and they made our anniversary unforgettable. I highly recommend ML Tavern to anyone looking for a special meal or a night out with friends. Just be sure to book ahead, because this place is popular for good reason!

    Everything was truly amazing at ML Tavern. The people, service, food… amazing. The biggest complaint I have is that I specifically asked for a more intimate setting in my preferences when I reserved the table. I said I didn’t want to be basically sitting on top of others so we could have a romantic evening since we were celebrating my bf’s birthday. I was expecting a booth or something off to the side, but no. We were the first high top table you see when you walk through the doors. I was very surprised that I didn’t even know what to say and then I felt too bad to say anything. I was just very confused when I saw MANY tables empty why they would put us there after my request to be basically anywhere but there. So again, everything was amazing, but next time I’ll be sure to speak up regarding the seating. I just again was surprised to be placed there - it’s as if they didn’t even read my preference.

    We had a fabulous table in the back with good lighting. We had a table of 9. Our server was Debbie and she was down to earth and knowledgeable and just fabulous. We come quite often and sit at the bar but I tell you if we ever come to table seating we would request her section. Food was great. Drinks were awesome. Thanks for a great night.

    I took my boyfriend for his birthday and he loved it! The service was five stars all around. The food was amazing. The manager even came over to see how things were. He talked to us about the background of the restaurant. We will definitely be back.
