We recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant after it was highly recommended to us and I can’t express how positive our experience was. From the moment we walked through the door, we greeted with a big smile from the owner James and he kindly sat us at our table where we were promptly met by our server Taylor who gave us a warm welcome and started us off with some menus and drink orders. She was not only very attentive but was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and specials for the night and was more than happy to answer any questions we had. Now onto the food - simply outstanding. The menu offered a wide array of options which made it so difficult to choose. We decided to start with the carciofi fritti, the fried artichokes with lime aioli and basil pesto, as well as the zucchini flowers stuffed with burrata and parmigiano (a true Italian delicacy!). After we quickly finished those, we decided to order our mains: salmone piccata, the pan seared salmon with lemon butter caper sauce as well as the strozzapreti ai funghi, the hand rolled pasta with mixed mushrooms and shaved truffle. Every bite was so flavourful and delicate which was a clear indication that the chef here is a true artist who takes pride in their work. Finally, the ambience was remarkable - from the lighting, to the volume of the music, to the well thought out decor, everything complimented eachother so well and it truly tied in to our wonderful experience. This restaurant exceeded all of our expectations. Anybody looking for real authentic Italian food, this is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Woodbridge!

My husband and I wanted to try something new. We were not overly impressed by this restaurant. While the food quality was good, the portions were small and pricey. Even though they weren't that busy and we kept having to flag down our waitress for more water.

This restaurant continues to impress! Everything ordered was outstanding. Highly suggest the veal palliard, veal Milanese, Diavola pizza and the fritto misto The ambiance is just lovely and the staff are extremely professional. Such an elegant place. We will be back soon, thank you!!

There is only one word to describe our experience at Mo Si Ristorante…awesome! Not only is the food delicious but James and his staff completed the experience with way above average service. Great job guys! This is has now become our new go-to place!

The food was so delicious! We had the warm focaccia with warm olives, the gnocchi with the buratta, the orata fish, the chicken and the little donuts for dessert! Everything was so good! Service was great! I would definitely return here!

This new restaurant will become the next gem in Vaughan. Exceptional service only outdone by the incredible meal. The food is so fresh and delicious. My fiancee and I visited Mo Si last night with another couple, and we had such a great time! The restaurant itself is beautiful and bright. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable, providing great suggestions for the table. And the food was absolutely incredible! We started off with some cocktails for the table, which were prepared perfectly. We then had our starters, which consisted of the fritto misto, polpette, and foccaccia & olives. The fritto misto provided deliciously tender seafood with a crispy exterior, mixed with fried artichokes and a little kick of spice with jalapeños. So good! The polpette were soft, tender and flavourful. Topped with the homemade tomato sauce and whipped ricotta, these polpette were mouthwateringly delicious. And the fresh, warm focaccia - I'll have that all day! We then each ordered a different pasta - gnocchi alla sorrentina, spaghetti frutti di mare, strozzapreti ai funghi, and ravioli ripieni. I had the ravioli, and I can honestly say I've never had anything like these. The filling has ricotta and gorgonzola, which adds a nice little touch. But paired together with the pistachios and the pear in a brown butter sauce, this pasta blew my mind. A dish I'd never think to make, but something I will order time and time again. We finished the meal off with a nice espresso and the bombette, which are mini donuts each with a different filling. Mine had a homemade wild berry jam in it. The others were Nutella, lemon custard and dulce de leche. Such a great way to finish the meal! I will 100% be going back to Mo Si, and highly recommend the restaurant to anyone thinking about going.
