Every Friday we host bands for an energetic and memorable experience. Genres are very diverse, from jazz to salsa. For all upcoming shows please visit our website www.tastemoldova.com/musicandevents. Some evenings have a more relaxed vibe, and some nights we have dance floors open, so make sure to check ahead who's playing. Guests are able to order dinner from our regular Dinner menu while enjoying the music. Music plays 7PM to 10pm. Kitchen is open until 9:45. Bar is open until 10. We provide a platform for local musicians to perform, and strive to pay fair rates in order to support the bands and their efforts. The cover charge helps us continue putting together entertaining and diverse lineups, and is solely used to pay the bands.

Our lineup for the night: Rkatsiteli, Kakhuri Gvinis Marani Sachino, Didebuli Qvevri Cabernet - Saperavi, Kakhuri Gvinis Marani Saperavi, Georgian Valleys Saperavi, Gozauri Kindzmarauli, Kakhuri Gvinis Marani Bites will be provided. I have never had this type of food before. It was fabulous! Stuffed cabbage and grape leaves to die for. Fresh vegetables cooked to perfection. Draft Moldovian Pilsner beer ice cold and delicious! My wife and I had a lovely dinner and evening outside. Highly recommend!

Delicious food, friendly service. Party of 6, so we sampled a lot of food--all of it excellent - fried cheese pie, fried cabbage pie, cheese dumplings, stuffed grape leaves, braised pork, braised chicken, polenta, bean dip. And the Moldovan wine and beer are also a special treat.

Wow…you know how you crave something so much and you finally go days later and are not as impressed? Well that was NOT the case here. What an amazing meal. I am NEVER let down by Moldova Restaurant. The food is nothing like you will find ANYWHERE in New England and there is so much flavor and love put into the dishes. I consider myself a regular (at least a couple times a month). Worth the drive too. Highly recommend the savory beef dish (I sub the rice for the traditional polenta called Mamaliga) and the eggplant dip. If you like brandy try Moldova’s Kvint. Great wine selection too. Great service. All around awesome experience.

We ate at this restaurant many times before the pandemic. We like the restaurant, however, we think that the attitude of the owner and the servers has deteriorated compared to a few years ago. The food is very good but a bit expensive.

Group Of seven and we could easily hear each other. It was a very relaxed noise level on Mother’s Day. The mushroom and chicken crêpes were our favorite of the day. It was nice to eat something different.

Overall - great. The food was delicious. Interesting wine list. We had lamb kababs, borsch, sausages, and dumplings and a Moldovan Chardonnay that was delicious. The server was friendly, courteous and efficient. He was the only employee working the dining room (or bar) which was pretty busy, but he was calm and serene. There are many had surfaces and concrete floors that made for a fair amount of sound reverberation.

Absolutely astounding food with friendly service and a curious ambiance. Some of the main courses are on the pricier side but there are also good options that are cheaper too. I also get dumplings and kompot here for my weekly volunteer meetings! Very good 😋

The food was excellent, as always. The service was a bit slow given an average occupancy, but the waitress was warm and personable. What was disturbing is the cacophony from the overhead sound system, fighting with the excellent jazz band playing in the adjacent room. It would have been better to install mics and pipe the band through the restaurant.

We were looking forward to the experience of lamb kebabs and Eastern European food. However, we were disappointed by inattentive service and salty, uninspired food. Hummus was good to start and the roasted veggies were delicious. We are not likely to go back.

Thurs nite. Not crowded, but we’ll-attended. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Food was very good. Lamb kebabs were actually lamb meatballs. My wife enjoyed her stuffed grape leaves and cabbage. Both entrees were on the small side which left room for desserts which never happens.

This was our second time at Moldova. The first time was several years ago. At that time, we thought that the beef stew was over salted. This time, we were attracted by the good reviews and decided to give it a second try. However, the meal was expensive and ordinary. We both ordered lamb kebabs for $32 each. With a tip, it came out to $80. The lamb kebabs consisted of three ground lamb sausages and fried potatoes with no side vegetables. We had assumed, for that price, that we were going to get cubes of lamb loin skewered between pieces of onion and peppers. We had asked the waiter to have it cooked "pink" which was a good signal of what we were expecting. The meals tasted OK, although they were a over spiced. But for $32 each, plus tip, this was poor value for money.

The food was amazing. We always get the pork dumplings. We went on a Friday and they had live music which we really enjoyed. My main course was the mititei which I highly recommend. I swapped out the baked potato for the country style potatoes.
