Took my son for brunch for his 18th birthday. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and attentive. They brought his dessert out with a birthday candle but didn't embarrass him with a birthday song...we did that😂😂. Will definitely go again.

The service was slow!!!! No one was at the front when we got there so I sat myself!!! Waiter was just a bit overwhelmed so it took a while to get around to our table and the food took long to come out!!!! But the food was good and the waitress was extremely nice!!!!!

I had fried dumplings for an appetizer. The chicken fried rice (main course) was the best I've ever had, meaty and full of flavor. The portion size was so large that I brought some home for dinner the next day. I was in a party of three; all of us were enthusiastic about the food. We'll go back.

When I entered (6:30 on a Saturday night), no one was at the front desk. I made eye contact with two servers, neither of which said anything. After waiting for a few minutes, I assumed I was supposed to seat myself. After sitting for another 5-8 minutes with the waiters ignoring me, I noticed there was a menu on the front desk and thought maybe I was supposed to order up there and then sit down. I went to the front desk and one of the waiters came a minute later and took my order. I asked if there was a beef bulgogi option by itself (not in taco form) and he said no. When I asked what the Korean BBQ platter was, he said, "That's beef bulgogi." The menu was also much more limited than what was on their website. After sitting back down at my table, a female server (who had previously ignored me) came by with a menu. I told her I already ordered at the front and she said "To go?" and I said, "No, I'm going to eat here." My order took almost 25 minutes and -surprise surprise - it came out in a to-go bag. My fault for assuming the waitress would have told the kitchen that I was eating here. The food itself was sub-par. The brown rice was severely overcooked - chewy, and gelatinous. The bulgogi flavor was good, but had WAY too much oil. Every bite, oil dripped down my chin and onto my shirt. The side vegetables were flavorless. Overall, poor service, poor food, poor experience. Will not be returning.

I typically never leave comments/reviews, you will never find my name on yelp. Legitimately, never, but something had to be said; this is the worst Asian food I’ve ever had period. I ordered the chicken fried rice with the egg on top. The chicken was so dry and it seemed like it was chicken breast cubes not chicken thighs, so it was even drier than expected. The egg on top weirdly did not seemed fried but yet still overcooked. The rice had no flavor to it, and it was a little bit more mushy than fried. Since the rice had no flavor, I asked for soy sauce and Sriracha, but even the Sriracha seemed like an off brand of sort. I wish I didn’t have to go on, but there’s more. I got the Korean chicken wings and they were small, dry and bland. Y’all sell Korean fried chicken… ain’t noooo way someone from your establishment has not tried BonChon and thought to y’all selves “oh our is at least half as good.” on top of that I got a half and half flavor choice, the spicy half came out ‘warm’ and the other half with the other flavor came out dead cold. The ambience was cool. My server was good (my bill came out & I still tipped her 20%), but the food was a hard let down, so get well soon? Hope y’all do better? I’m shook.

Momo is excellent. My friends all agree, and I will keep going back. They could be a little faster, but they are trying more staff to help them because they are doing things - demand is higher. The nice soft jazz music helps one actually talk to their tablemates.

This is the second time I've eaten here. The food is too salty. Also, I wish they could figure out a way to serve their signature Korean fried chicken faster. I didn't order it both times because it would take an additional wait of at least a half hour. They tell you that up front, but really, half an hour longer?!?! I've never heard of that kind of a wait for fried chicken!

The MOMO Chicken restaurant is a fabulous and welcome addition to the downtown waterfront/Arena Stage area of Washington. My wife and I are from the Annapolis MD area have eaten there twice in the past month. I honestly think it would be a weekly event if we lived closed. Very good and reasonably priced food served hot, personable and warm service, and in an area that needs such a restaurant. We'll be back as often as we are in the area.

This was our firts visit to MOMO and my family and friends agree that this is a hidden gem near Arena Stage and the DC waterfront. There are so many interesting items on the menu that it was difficult to choose our meals, so we all got something different and none of us was disappointed. All of the staff was extremely friendly and personable and took the time to answer all of our questions on food items. We will definitely be coming back and spreading the word.

Amazing food, friendly service. I feel awful though because I made reservations for 830 not realizing they close at 830. We had a great meal at the staff's expense, not realizing they were probably ready to go home.

Was not what we expected at all- The description said korean it is more asian fusion... served tepid. And food had poor presentation. I would think with the decline of business due to COVID-19 that when a customer does come in the pride to show great service would be there.... it was ok but not enough to go back..... the pictures in profile must be extremely old did not reflect what we saw or food we received.

Great food, portions were nice; however one piece of shoyu pork in such a large bowl of ramen seems wrong. Also we received our appetizer in a Togo box though we were dining in. Overall great tasting food and lovely atmosphere, the service could be better as well. Update: we ordered 20 wings to go and got home to find there were only 18. For 24.99 for 20 wings the absolute least you could do is ensure we got what we paid for. Again great food but the service and value for what you pay needs significant improvements.

We dined in - only people there on a Friday night at 7. Service was good, but there was only one person front of house and one person in the back. Everything was in to go containers. Even cocktails. They provided plastic plates/utensils to eat off of. If I wanted to go containers, I would have gotten my food to go. Disappointing.
