Changing with the seasons, our menu starts with meat and potatoes and offers a range of other locally inspired dishes.
The dining room is an extension of the hearth— a warm retreat that brings the outdoors in. Inspiration comes from Executive Chef Paula Navarrete’s childhood in Colombia, spent around the grill, combined with her passion for Canadian produce.

It's a pricy place but it comes with an amazing view.
It was wonderful. We used OpenTable and got in quickly. We also got our food right away. The pork belly was amazing delicious! I could eat that pork belly bao any time of the day!
We had friends in town visiting from Boston, we all had the most amazing experience and food! So much attention to detail! Even our vegetarian friend felt so satisfied with your veggie options! We will definitely be back again soon!
24 oz Tbone steak was not as flavourful as I was expecting for this quality of restaurant. It was the 'special' and maybe that was our mistake for ordering it. In addition, it cost $158 for the steak alone which we didn't find out until the bill came. The rest of the food and the service was excellent. Great cocktails, wine and atmosphere.
Awesome food ! Awesome atmosphere ! Awesome staff !
Very nice atmosphere.
Clarise and I really enjoyed our counter experience @ Kojin. As restaurant owners we appreciated the interactions with cooks and chefs. We were given hints on prep and mis on some of the outstanding menu items. We celebrated our loving anniversary and will be back to celebrate again pretty well anything.
Overall great experience. Food was very flavourful but I would like the mains to be more shareable and tables to be larger.
Overall experience was average due to the mediocre service. A few of the staff lack basic etiquette
My wife and I were celebrating out wedding anniversary. We were first seated in the dining room right by the window. perfect except the AC was on high and we were freezing so we moved. We ended up at the grill bar where the fire kept us warm. When we sat down Eden our server introduced us to Ben who was managing the grill team. He immediately welcomed us to the grill counter. Ben and his grill team really love what they do and are proud of what they create . Before we even ordered Ben and his team offered up little samples of what they were making. My heart was set on steak but after chatting with his team we settled on the pork chop. It was beyond a doubt the best we ever tasted.
Eden our server was excellent She saw we were in no hurry but she was always there with a suggestion or a glass of wine when required. To sum up the food was excellent, the service flawless, we will be back!
Please don’t waste a meal here there are so many great restaurants in Toronto. I am a foodie and was extremely disappointed with Kojin. We ordered the corn flatbread with the avocado and goat cheese ( basically guacamole and not good) the flatbread was hot and just needed butter and honey. We ordered the 7 bone steak that sounded interesting on the menu but trust me there was nothing interesting about it! Tasteless tough dry they lost the salt somewhere in the kitchen. The wait staff was very inattentive when they figured out how bad the food was.
I would stay away!!!
We had a very good meal at Kojin. That being said we preferred Daisho, the restaurant that was previously on the 2nd floor.
Our overall experience was positive. However, our server was quite awkward to interact with and not especially helpful with the menu.
It was amazing the service and the food was out of this world. Everything was excellent!!!
Came here for lunch the Friday before the long weekend and the restaurant was quiet. Food and services were both excellent and we enjoyed all of the dishes, esp the ribeye, corn flatbread with honey and butter, the cod with congee and greens, and the titas mash. All dishes were made for sharing and the lazy Susan at our table made sharing even easier.
We would definitely come back again.
Great food. Better if you are a few people so you can try more things! But enough items priced well even for dining alone.
Excellent service, courteous and very accommodating as two in our party are vegan. Excellent wine list, they compt us on dish that had traces of cheese in it.
All the dishes were delicious and nicely plated. The 32 day aged Rib Eye melted in your mouth and was a perfect medium rare!
We were on a time restriction ( Bryan Ferry concert) and they got us out on time!
We sat at the chefs bar where you can watch everything come together. Such a great energy comes from watching the chefs pull it all together by feel. And the result was amazing. One of the best restaurants we have ever been too. Only issue is the portions are so big and you want it all. The apps, salads, main course and then desert. So much food. You can easily split plates. Gotta that pork chop next time.
This is a beautiful spot. Great ambiance, spectacular view and the food is incredible. It's very meat -heavy and many dishes intended for sharing but there are fish options and individual meals as well.
Service was attentive, friendly and warm. highly recommend!
Drinks were great and food was pricey but decent. We came for the social hour and had to argue with the waiter to obtain the discount. Upon receiving the bill we were still overcharged by 3$ on the sausage plate so apparently I didn’t make myself clear enough. After asking for the advertised social hour he ignored us for the rest of our meal. I love momofuku but if you’re not going to honour a social hour don’t advertise on your website or OpenTable.
One of the best meals I have had in Toronto in a long time. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Food was absolutely amazing. Wine list is well crafted.
Thanks to the entire team for such a wonderful experience!
We found our server to be rather rude, and not attentive enough. The food was below par, and the quality seemed of a diner on Spadina avenue. This surely wasn't a Five start experience. However, the pricing certainly was. I have been to Kojin before, and had an excellent experience on my past visit. I will not be visiting this restaurant, again.
Food was phenomenal, and our server Giovanna was the perfect level of attentiveness and super knowledgeable. Five stars all around.
Lunch or dinner spot with a great view and enough space between tables for a good conversation. Fantastic cocktails and appetizers.
Try the cornmeal flatbread with artisan butter and honey. Mains include sandwiches and dry-aged steaks, but the best value are the large format courses. Chicken in a pot includes a delicious chicken and fresh pea soup, perfectly poached chicken breast, and fried rice loaded with veggies. All for $63 and enough for 3 adults.
To be honest, I had heard a lot about Kojin and had been there once for lunch, which was excellent. This time, not so much. We had a rib steak and while it was OK, it wasn’t great. To make matters worse my wife and I were both sick the next day and into Sunday with really bad stomachs. Obviously I can’t say for sure that was a result of the food we had but it seems likely.Side dishes were very good and service was excellent - our server was exceptionally friendly and concerned about our experience.
Kojin was amazing from start to finish. Amazing service, amazing food, and just an overall great place even for couples. We enjoyed everything and the service was super knowledgeable and very very attentive. My chef and sous chef suggested we come for our anniversary and we were definitely not let down by our experience thank you guys!
The food tastes different now. The easton blend burger was better the last few times i was here. Also why did they take out the cereal milk ice cream?!
I guess we look kind of young, and slightly out of place. But I didn’t appreciate the service that we received. Our server (Corey we think?) didn’t take any time to introduce himself as we were one of his two tops on the bar. He was very rude and stark with us. I am a server myself, and I didn’t appreciate the sarcastic laughs I received when not committing to purchasing a full wine bottle. What saved us was our bus boy, Jasper. He touched our table many times, asked us how we were doing, and explained our food as it came. I really hope that he is compensated correctly. In addition, Calvin who was working the fire/grill made sure that we were taken care of, and apologized that our server wasn’t around to check up on us. The food was absolutely outstanding. We had the various sausages, the heirloom tomato salad, the extremely delicious Tita’s mash & the Pork. We were really, really, just turned off by our server. However, will definitely recommend, and will try again.
I hosted my business partners, and result was amazig.
Food did not have the flavour i hoped it would, wait staff was not familiar with the menu - they were pleasant, but not to the standard i would have expected.
Great food and lovely service- thank you for a memorable anniversary!
Monica and Gabriel, they were amazing. I actually told Gabriel can you please go and ask Monica which steak was her favourite? I want that one! Everyone is very friendly and professional. Every morsel of food is delicious. The ambience is great.
Over hyped for the food, lovely venue service and hosts though!
Always yummy. Been here like 4 times. Very different foods and flavours that compliment so well together. Kudos to the chef for creativity and innovation! Can’t wait to go back again!
Good sharing plates and overall atmosphere. Great fusion of south american and asian cuisine.
Main server was surprisingly condescending. Did a poor job of explaining the menu and how items will be served. When asked questions, she scoffed at us.
Kept trying to push additional plates, stating that we are under ordering. At the end of the meal, we had to have a full main dish packed because it was too much food.
Would suggest management more tightly review how the staff are trained and how they interact with customers.
Great food, cool vibe and super for family style sittings. They do a great job of everything!
The service and food at this restaurant are very good. We initially had a poor table location and, when requested, we were easily moved to a much better table so we wouldn't be blocked in. Appetizers are probably good but unusual.
Great food and service. Had a good time, will come back one day
