Changing with the seasons, our menu starts with meat and potatoes and offers a range of other locally inspired dishes.
The dining room is an extension of the hearth— a warm retreat that brings the outdoors in. Inspiration comes from Executive Chef Paula Navarrete’s childhood in Colombia, spent around the grill, combined with her passion for Canadian produce.

Great food and service. Had a good time, will come back one day
Felt very well looked after. Commi Chef kept passing me little snacks he’d made. Recommend either window seat or sit at counter to watch your amazing steak/chop cook. Menu is setup for sharing but I was alone so I came away very full and very happy.
Steak was really nice but a bit smaller than expected. Stay away from green salad though unless you like things sour/tart.
The entrance to the restuarant was a little confusing but we figured it out. The first thing that struck us was the noise level, too high for us. We were greeted warmly and seated. Our waiter filled my first ordered glass of wine -- a white petillant with the dregs of a bottle, wine gone flat, and then disappeared promising more which was a while in coming. This would never happen in France. The food was really excellent. Our meal was marred by a very loud table of 4 close to us and the noise level and beat of music was too much for us. It is a young, well-heeled crowd but surely they too would welcome a lower decibel.
We did enjoy the food though.
Great food and service. The restaurant was a little smaller than I had envisioned but we got a great table on the patio overlooking University Ave. The gift shop is a must on the way out!
We love this restaurant. It’s always delicious and the staff is always wonderful.
Beef drippings forever on my mind! Counter seating recommended.
Kojin is fantastic! Delectable food, with a truly unique menu- a hard find in Toronto. Service was perfect. Thank you Nick for the awesome experience!
Top notch service and attention to customer service
Tables were way too close together. Felt like I was part of the conversation of the people at the table next to us.
Garlic was in everything. Don’t go here if you don’t like garlic.
Portions are generous and the chicken was juicy.
Absolutely awful. I’ve eaten at several David Chang/Momofuku restaurants. This does not even deserve to carry the name! They were sold out of both of the specials my husband and I ordered. Appetizers were mediocre at best. Entrées took an hour and 45 minutes to arrive at the table. Never saw our server. Would definitely not recommend this restaurant. So many other great places to eat in Toronto. Le Sélect Bistro was fantastic, Blu was great, Sassafraz was amazing... food & service! But definitely skip Kojin
The other restaurant in the same location had a uniqueness that this one is lacking. The food is still very good but it trends like other restaurants against the amazing small, shareable dishes that no one else in Toronto served. The bar location has made the restaurant darker. Still the burger is award winning with a unique beefy taste and the corn bread is a different touch however the spreads are incredibly overpriced. Deserts are just OK.
Went for a romantic dinner on a Saturday night - the vibe was wonderful, the service excellent, and the food was commendable. We really recommend the corn flat bread with any of the associated toppings. As well, the steak was absolutely delicious!
Great service. Excellent food. Milk was great also.
From start to finish, we had an amazing experience! The food was cooked to perfection, inventive and a delight. The service was top-notch and everyone made us feel so special.
What an amazing experience. You can really feel the chef's passion for food, and her history and experience here and in Colombia. We sat at the kitchen bar, close enough to see the action but far enough away not to feel the heat of the wood fire.
Disappointing steak, embarrassing when my client/boss noted to staff how poorly it was prepped. I agreed. Second visit, first was divine, second should have been comped.
I found the food quality was sub-standard and your ”whole chicken in the pot ” was especially disappointing
Would go again.
Definitely a place I'd take my dad for a special occaison.
Overall good experience. Very slow service. Lunch took nearly 2 hours
Steak was amazing, this was the best steak I have ever had after “The Keg”.
Overall, not impressed given the reputation of the restaurant. Strange entrance (walking through the prep area for the first floor), seafood platter was mid-grade at best (mushy crab and shrimp), had to ask for sauce for the dozen oysters, asparagus needed salt ... now, the Titi's mash potatoes were some of the best I've had anywhere. Not likely to go back given the quality vs cost. Cornflake cookie from Milk Bar was the best part of the meal.
Great food and fantastic service. Staff was helpful without being obnoxious
Fine, but maybe a bit hyped. Pleasant, but attentive service. Nice interior.
Great steak and flatbreads!
I would recommend to a friend but only to someone who dines out regularly. The menu is unusual and needs to be explained. Our waiter did not do that so we did not order correctly. Many or most of the dishes are meant to be shared which is not obvious. The cornbread appetizer needs to be ordered in several different varieties and shared. Don't order the sardine one, it is a can of sardines, a disappointment when there are so many good sardines available. The main courses feature and emphasize steaks making one think this is really a steakhouse. The steaks can be easily shared as they are sliced. The single fish was an excellent turbot. We had souffles for desert, well done though more sauce needed which they quickly provided. The wine list by the glass is weak featuring undistinguished wines.
Wonderful, unique dishes and flavours. Plates great for sharing. Servers helpful and thoughtful never missing a beat. Thoroughly enjoy this dining experience!
Pre ballet in Toronto. Very nice but not cheap location for ballet is amazing
Had a great time. Would come back for sure.
Outstanding venue and service, and the food was amazing. What a place to watch the Raptors parade from. 10 out of 10!
Excellent overall. Cory (I think) waited on me. Outstanding service!
Momofuku Kojin lived up to my expectations in every way. Loved sitting at the chefs counter and interacting with Daniel and watching him prepare various dishes with skill and passion. The steak was melt in your mouth quality. Every morsel of food we ate was delicious.
These are the dining experiences that I treasure when I travel.
Food was average, nothing spectacular about it. A little overrated
Unfortunately I was disappointed with this restaurant. The ambiance was great, we had window seats too but the food was not worth it. Steak was disappointing and the best part of the meal was the mashed potatoes. Not exactly what I came there for.
Wonderful meal - space is beautiful, service was outstanding (Aaron took great care of us and made excellent menu suggestions; sommelier was on point), and food was amazing! Still dreaming about the corn cakes with honey butter, steak, Tita mash, fish lemon butter sauce and the cobbler...
Amazing food and service as always. Will be back soon!
El lugar es simple y agradable. Mi cena no fue espectacular pero aceptable. La experiencia en el servicio muy buena.
Burger is a must! Incredible!!
Server was very attentive, friendly and informative!
All the food was awesome!
