Cannot actually review them since they are incapable of managing reservations via open table. I made one via Open Table for a time that was not available due to a special event. Neither Mon Ami nor Open Table has handled this with anything approaching competent customer service.

Unfortunately, we made the mistake of going right before the restaurant closed for the year. Not a good idea! The problem? Several menu items were no longer available. Well, OK - but couldn't the remaining food be transferred to one of WOW's many other restaurants? And service was surprisingly slow, considering how few customers they had. But it became worse. When they didn't have the appetizer we wanted, our server suggested the brie cheese. We said we were interested in having THAT for dessert. She said "good idea". When it came time for dessert, "Oh, sorry, we don't have any more. Never did." (?) So we ordered a blueberry tea. It took our server at least five minutes to come and advise that they had no Grand Marnier, and therefore no blueberry tea. So we left there rather disenchanted with a restaurant we had always liked. Bottom line: don't go at the end of the season when they seem to be out of almost everything, and service is lacklustre at best.

Delicious food and great cocktails. They put a twist on traditional favorites like Gin and Tonic they added pomegranate and cracked pepper. It was so refreshing.

The service here was just great! I called the same day as my reservation was created to try and move it, the lady who helped me was so kind and worked things around to accommodate my group, it was much appreciated! Our waiter was also very friendly and we all felt he was being genuine which is sometimes difficult to find in a server. The food was also phenomenal! Everyone was pleased with their meals. I cannot wait to go back! Thanks for contributing to a great evening with family !

Mon Ami Louis was a great restaurant. Between the location and views and the food and drinks, it was well worth the visit. The house made gnocchi was delicious as was the tarragon chicken. Their cocktails were some of the best and their dessert was a perfect ending to the evening. The staff was attentive and friendly.

During Le Burger week, had a lunch meeting here and The Drunken Pig (burger) was _superb_ / delicious. I've never had a bad experience at Mon Ami Louis. The food has always been delicious. The servers have been super friendly and helpful (they let us know how long the food would take, approximately, at the busy lunch hour). It is usually quite busy so make a reservation (as I did) and you should be seated quickly. The view is one of the best in the city.

We went for burger week and the burger was excellent!! Had two young kids along and not great menu for them but the soup was a good option...full of wonderful fresh vegetables. One other issue was we went the day after long weekend and they were out of a few items (fries!). The view is wonderful and the food we had that day and others has always been excellent!

We went there after making reservations while on our recent trip to Winnipeg. We liked the location, but were not impressed by the service. The staff seemed hurried. We had a waitress who was abrupt, and not very helpful when asked questions about the menu. Food was mediocre. Will likely not return to this restaurant.

Went to Mon Amis Louis for burger week to try the drunken pig burger and I have to say that it was the best burger I have had so far. My girlfriend ordered the tartes flamee and seemed to enjoy it. We shared the almond crusted brie which was delicious but a little pricey for an appetizer. This restaurant is located on a bridge so you will have to either park at the forks or on provencher or tache and walk about 5 to 10 minutes to get to the restay rant. I will be back to try other options on their menu.

It was my mom's 75th birthday and the service was excellent and the food delicious. We were seated by the window and the view was great, especially at night with glimpses of the Basilica. The créme brulee cheesecake was to die for. I would go back just for coffee and this dessert - it blew us all away. My nephew isn't a dessert person at all and he was raving about it. Living in Toronto, I was very impressed with the value for what we received: generous portions and flavorful food for 4 people is what I would normally pay for 2 people (even with alcohol). Am very happy they made my mother's special occasion a very enjoyable and memorable dining experience.

Service was excellent as was the dinner. Gnocchi was outstanding as were the desserts we chose, Creme Brule Cheesecake and Potted Lemon Meringue. The Gin et Poivre was a very interesting and refreshing cocktail. It was not the first time we were there and definitely won't be the last. Often recommend this place to friends. The only disadvantage is it's not easily accessivle if you have difficulty walking.

II have dined at your restaurant several times and have always been pleased as far as quality of food and of service provided. Considering your location, I feel that there should be more bilingual staff. At this recent visit, I do not believe that any one was able to speak French. It is unfortunate.
