Mon Alyssa Restaurant and Pizzeria has been owned and operated by the Alvarez family for four years. Chef/Owner Santos Alvarez, the patriarch of the Alvarez family, has been cooking professionally for more than thirty years. Born and raised in Los Reyes, Michoacán, Mexico, Santos’ first instructor in the culinary arts was his father who at one time was a sous chef in Chicago. The restaurant, which offers nightly dinner specials that are served in a casual atmosphere, is known for Chef Santos’ white Pasta E Faggioli. Pizzas, subs, and wraps are available as well as pasta, chicken, veal, seafood, steak, and lamb. Every entrée is cooked to order and dietary restrictions are catered to. On and off premises catering is also available as well as take out and free local delivery. Patrons enjoy the live music offered on the weekends. We pride ourselves on using only the freshest ingredients, offering exceptional food at moderate prices and giving impeccable service.

Food was very good. Was seated next to a smudgy window with a poor view. A bottle of water was placed on the table, with no offer of ice for the water glasses. My wife's founder francaise, while delicious, was swimming unappetizingly in sauce. My wife & I have eaten at MonAlyssa several times but, while enjoying the food, we would not bring guests. Recommendations come with reservations.

Really nice BYOB in Point Pleasant. We ate in inside because too cold to be outside. Food was very good, Tyler and the rest of the wait staff were excellent. Ambiance was great! Excellent value would recommend to all!

We had to wait 35 minutes for somebody to come to our table to take our order. We have been to this restaurant at least 30 times before but I think things are starting to go down. My daughter went to the bathroom and the toilet was very clogged. When she came out she told one of the workers and nobody ever went in to take care of the problem. Other women at our table chose not to use the ladies bathroom and opted to wait until they got home. Later I went to the men’s room And even though I didn’t need it there was no toilet paper. To me the food is not quite as good as it used to be. Even though we have supported this restaurant for a long time I am not sure when we will go back. Very disappointing

the food as usual was just wonderful so freshly maid the veal was so tender the service is always wonderful everyone is very helpful and friendly and the flowers I received for Mother's day was the cherry on the cake I can't say enough how happy that made me!!

It was our first visit to MonAlyssa and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Great crispy not greasy calamari, nice side salads and the Salmon Avocado and Seafood Française were excellent! Our waitress, Samantha, was cheerful, friendly and efficient.

As usual the food and service was outstanding.A very large party,about 20 people,dominated the dining room.There were kids playing with balloons that was very distracting.The party was loud especially when they were saying goodbye which seemed to take forever.The establishment should provide guidelines for large parties as a courtesy for the other diners. There were 4 other small parties in the dining room at that time and they all kept looking at each other making faces about what was happening.

We’ve gone to here for dinner many times. And it was excellent last night when we went to Mon Alyssa for dinner. The server, who we’ve been served by many times, is excellent at his trade. The food was delicious! We’re happy to recommend them to anyone we know.

We love Mona Alyssa! It feels like home! The menu is vast. The food is fresh and tasty. The staff is always warm and friendly. We enjoy bringing our family and friends here. We highly recommend!! You will never be disappointed!

Service was very good. Be forewarned, pretty expensive for a place attached to a pizzeria, with rips in half the chairs. Food wasn’t terrible but there are a lot better places out there.
