We went yesterday to celebrate my son's birthday/graduation. We had 10 people in our party. Everyone's food order was wrong expect my daughters meal. The coffee/tea was cold. They forgot to order my husband's meal. We had to ask for extra things they forgot to give us. When it came time to pay we had different bills ours included 6 of the party and was the most expensive bill for our table. I paid the bill while my husband stepped out.. when he came back our server tried to get my husband to pay it again stating I never paid it after she took our cash and receipt. I was very unhappy with the overall experience and won't be coming back

Good choice for a Father’s Day lunch. My husband and son had Caesar salads which they bth agreed were very tasty and enough to satisfy the appetite. I had the beef sandwich which was excellent. We would return here again.

I took my boyfriend for his birthday because he normally loves Montanas. We went for the Wednesday all you can eat ribs and he only receieved two plates. Our server did not check on us once during the meal but as soon as we asked for the cheque, it was there within two minutes. I asked for the birthday surprise and it never came - it was only at the end when I was paying did she remember. I said forget it. Will not be returning to this location again.

Restaurant was not busy. Ran out of veggies, rice, cutlery, plates. Waited 20 mins for drinks. I ordered the 7 ounce steak meal with fries and crispy fries. Onions were cold, and not crispy, steak was cold, fries were warm. Ordered potato skins for appetizer, one skin had no cheese or any toppings. My wife ordered the chicken and shrimp, Barely any shrimp on the plate, chicken was good. Waitress informed the manager and only 50% was taken off my steak. It took me about an hour to chew it down rather then order another plate which would have taken another 30 mins. It just was unorganized and management need to oversee its clients table by table to make sure everything is coming out right and the experience of the diners.

We were very disappointed. Our server was not educated on the menu. Was very forgetful when we made requests. The portion sizes were not worth the expense of the meal. The waitress made everyone feel rushed through our meal. We were planning on a nice relaxing meal and order more items however we're too disappointed that we felt like leaving. Especially after seeing the cost of our meals and what little portion sizes we got on our plates.

Free kid’s meal was nice, although fries were over salted. Loved the selcetion of sauces. Ribs and baked potato were well done, but very expensive ($30 for a small rack!). Burgers were the let-down; they were well cooked but overly greasy, dry, and had no flavour. Quite disappointed.

Took my dad for dinner to celebrate his birthday. Have been to Montanas many times (other locations - Hamilton and Milton) and never had an issue. In fact, I was recently at the location on Paramount in Hamilton and had a fantastic meal. Told the server how pleased we were. However this occasion in Ancaster was not a good experience. I ordered the identical meal this time and it was not good. The steak was over cooked. The baked potato looked petrified. I sent it back and got garlic mashed instead but I have to wonder why they would have brought the baked potato out in the first place. Didn't send the steak back though but wish I did. Takes quite a lot for me to actually send something back! The Ancaster location will only let you choose one side and the other side is your choice of beans or coleslaw, whereas the Paramount location will allow you to choose both sides. That matches the website that says with your choice of two sides. Needless to say, it was not a good experience. Will not go back to the Ancaster location.
