    The server was fantastic ..the food took a bit longer than usual but it was Valentines . My steak was fantastic , potatoes was good but no veggies with it . Our server was great and should get the tip that she deserved ..not sharing it . We will return again .

    Warm welcome at the door. Had a table reserved for us. Server was prompt, cheerful and polite. Menu was well organized with description of choices. Portions were adequate size, not overwhelming with just piles of fries. Well seasoned flavourful food. We were three. Two of us had ribs with sides of fries coleslaw or beans and cornbread. I had Mac & cheese. So delicious. Server took our pictures for us.

    The staff was very friendly & helpful, and everyone enjoyed their food. We had multiple servers, which was confusing, but they were all very nice, and we appreciated the manager checking in with us! I only wish there weren’t any TVs, our guests were distracted by them, making having a conversation very frustrating. It’s difficult to find a casual restaurant that doesn’t have TVs these days, and we’re not fans of them at all. People are disconnected enough with their phones without multiple TV screens. That’d be my only gripe, really. Your food is always amazing, and your location is so much better than either South Keys or Merivale. Thank you!

    New menu, prices have gone up, value for food has gone down you no longer serve chippers which is one of the reasons why I came, may not come back

    Service was great as always and it is a great place to go for a meal out The food is very well prepared but my only beef would be that the portion size, particularly steaks, is on the small size When you pay $30 for a steak and fries you expect a little more beef. I ordered the 10oz maybe I got the 5 by mistake if not then the 5 must be thimble sized

    When the reservations where made it was for a birthday. we didn't get the singing or the slice of cake. I also mentioned to our waitress when we arrive, never received it. the service was fast and some of the items were missed.

    I was there before great we had good service. First out food took a long time then me and my friend steak was cold then the forgot the salads that came with my streak and forgot my friends sour cream she took a long time to come back We wanted a refill on our drinks. Not sure if it was because we sat right near the door. She didn't even off us dessert we had to mention it didn't even off his a coffee. Not impressed

    We were a party of three. Our waitress, Jaylene was excellent. The food was awesome. Looking forward to our next meal there. So wonderful to have Montanas here in Barrhaven. Thanks for an interesting meal experience.

    The booth we were in offered privacy which we enjoyed as we chatted and caught up. Our server was available and yet not overly so in that she was there when we 'needed' her. All of us enjoyed our meals which were not overpriced and nicely presented...good value for money spent. We weren't rushed at all. Definitely an enjoyable experience.

    We enjoy very much the Montanas in Barrhaven. It is very well managed. The service is excellent. The food is also excellent. We only started to go back to Montanas when it opened in Barrhaven. Is there was something negative, it is parking and no where to hang your coats. Thanks for asking, Jim and Carol Cooke

    The server Madison is the reason we’ve gone back again instead of neighbouring Lone Star or East Side Mario. Her friendliness and attentive to details is exceptional. Also great desserts Recommendation: to feature local craft beers from the OTTAWA region

    Poor quality of food. Had the steak taco salad and it was lacking flavour. Chicken and waffle burger was ok but too sweet for my liking. The kids pizza was horrendous: thick yeasty crust on top of a fries...which obviously were then soggy and gross. Appetizers: deep fried pickles were good but the spinach dip..well there was like 2tbsp of dip for a plareful of pita, which was deep fried for some reason.

    Good food and good service, although they should bring out everyone's supper at the same time so that everyone is eating at the approx same time. Otherwise one of our favorite eating spots.

    Great meal. There on NYE celebrating our 14th anniversary. Server was obviously new and a little unsure, but very nice. Made one small mistake on the bill and the manager quickly made it right. I would recommend the restaurant.

    Good choice on menu from kids to adults with some innovative plates. They had fried baby brussel sprouts with baonband maple syrup as a side dish, very good. Draught from ac vent would be good on hotbday but not in winter.

    My steak was excellent tho the chimichuri was too oily. The cornbread was excellent. The drinks were tasty however seemed low on alcohol- i had 2 margaritas and not even a buzz. The rest of the food was clearly not fresh- it was premade and warmed up- potato smash was luke warm, bacon brussels sprouts were cold, beans were luke warm, ribs were dry. The music too loud and not appropriate for a restaurant- more for a sports bar. Service was good -until our server told us at the end of the meal that she was fighting a cold - we were kind of grossed out We used to eat at Montana all the time and we were excited that one opened in Barrhaven.

    There are still some growing pains because it's a new location with some new staff, but everyone was friendly & we found the seating better for young kids (2 under 3, both in high chairs) than any other Montana's location we've been to before. It's our family's favourite restaurant to spend our Scene points at, and there's a good variety on the kids menu (7 or 8 options) rather than the 2 or 3 usual options. It's a convenient location for us, and we were pleasantly surprised that it was different from other locations in town. We will definitely be back! Be warned though - the music isn't especially loud but the atmosphere is pretty loud. It was great because it drowned out our 2 super whiny/temper tantrum-y (at the end of our meal when it was getting close to bed time) kids so nobody around us really noticed them.

    Not ready to serve alcohol yet! I was not communicated ahead. Was too late to change plan when I got there. Would have enjoyed the evening more with a pint or two of beer. :-(
