The server clearly had too many tables to manage as we had to keep flagging anyone we could see walk by to refill drink orders, check on food delivery or have enough time to ask how our meal was. Food was mediocre at best steak was tough and a lot of grissle. Won’t be back

This was our first outing after Covid and we were excited to come back to Montana's. Our server was awesome. The meal was meh. I ordered the striploin with fries. The steak was perfect! As was the caesar salad. The onion rings on it had been reheated more than once and were quite rubbery. The fries were rock hard and inedible. My hubby had the ribs which he really loved but his sides were cold and inedible too. So for $140 (he had 2 beers) it definitely was not worth it. He wanted to go to the Keg but I said we would get better value at Montana's and sadly this was not the case.

Burrito bowl was missing the tortilla strips, took awhile to get server’s attention, turns out cook was new, didn’t know it was to have the strips and they were all out so she brought some nacho chips. Apple pecan chicken salad was very good but way too many of the hard chunks of white spine for the lettuce

The side dishes were all very under seasoned and the potatoes were still hard. My steak tasted great, the side dishes were a big let down. My husband said his brisket sandwich was dry and compared the meat to lunch meat rather than brisket.

Won’t go again!… Upon arrival they couldn’t find our Reservation… Mentioned to the person who sat us at a table, it was my grandson’s birthday… I also mentioned it to the Server and mentioned he receives a free meal - I received an email from Montana verifying that… when I received the bill I paid it then noticed on the bill the Server charged my grandson’s meal… I mentioned it to the Server and showed her the email… she said I didn’t show her before I asked for the bill… she wouldn’t correct the bill and mentioned she could get the Manager and maybe he could give us something instead… not what I was expecting, so we left.

Our server was the best. He made it a great experience and was always on the ball. The food was amazing, the drinks tasted great and was an overall great Christmas dinner. Would definitely go again ☺️

The food was OK, steak was a bit tough at medium rare. Fresh donuts made up for it. Lots of students working tables and helpful enough they just didn’t come around too often to check up.

We were seated promptly and our server was with us us quickly. Her upbeat attitude put us at ease immediately. Our food arrived in perfect time and hot and delicious. We never felt rushed to finish our meal. Thanks!

We all arrived on time and were sat graciously. I wanted an aperitif (Cinzano or), but they have none. We ordered and drank 2 bottles of wine - plus the girls had cocktails. The server was extremely polite and we never felt rushed. I ordered a steak ($29) med rare and it came that way, but was so tough I almost pulled my dentures out and became worried I might need the Heimlich maneuver as I struggled to get the meat small enough to swallow. Eating out, I always order a Filet Mignon, but Montanna's doesn't have that and its always better to enjoy a steak even at $50 or so than spend 2/3 of that to get an inedible cow chunk of which 1/3 is fat. Anyway, after looking at the dessert menu and ordering we were told NO desserts were available - so we just ordered coffee and one Irish. It was great to be with my girls again after a 2yr hiatus due Covid, but I really think the restaurants should do better - after all, return business and good ratings are key to a reliable customer base. We lost our table at a "fancier" restaurant because they booked a wedding, so Montana's wasn't a first choice. You get what's left with short notice and have to make the best of it, which we did. I left a decent 18% tip for the service only as I am sure the people in the kitchen were either hired yesterday and working with minimal product; or were just happy to have a job. For an eternity now, the excuse for every failure or shortcoming will be blamed on Covid. (Replacing 911 for the "go-to" reason to cover all client dissatisfaction). I didn't make a recommendation here because the food wasn't good - and why else would you go to a restaurant?

Waited awhile for a waitress. Was ready to order by the time I was asked what we wanted to drink. Waited for awhile for plates to be removed and then for cheque. Waited awhile for dessert to be brought in togo container. It wasnt busy so I have no idea why we had to wait for service all the time. The food was good !!

We enjoyed our visit to Montana’s. We were a little disappointed that due to a shortage of lemonade we were not able to try a Long Island ice tea. Over all our experience was great. The food and service was great and we enjoyed our 40th anniversary dinner🙂thank you

It was my first outing to a restaurant in over 1 yr. I took 2 of my grandaughters and my daughter-in-law(sweetest daughter-in-law in the whole wide world except for the other 2). We had a fabulous time. weather was great as well as the food and the lovely server. I can hardly wait to go back! Bravo!!!!!

Since montanas only started selling back ribs, they're always dry, every time. I'd prefer a pack of pre-cooked frozen ribs from the grocery store. Even though the whole patio was open, they sat us right close to the only other people on the patio. Once our meal was served there was an extremely loud family with kids they sat right beside us, the kids were screaming and screeching the entire time. We had to speak loudly to hear each other in normal conversation until we left.

We had a reservation and when we showed up they claimed to not be taking reservations. All the tables were full and we had to wait. I asked for a specific area to get if we had to wait for a table to become free anyway, and the girl said that nothing would be open over there for a long time… as soon as we got seated everyone left and all tables in the area I was wanting were now free. Service was very slow and everyone seemed extremely disorganized. I made a reservation, was even asked to confirm the day before if I was still coming, and apparently that never existed.

Food was mostly great. Main portion on both plates was fantastic, although the ribs were a little dry with not enough sauce, but some of the sides were lacking. Cornbread was hard as a rock, and my wife's side Caesar salad was almost entirely stem pieces - next to no green in it. She asked to take it off the bill, so the extra charge for the upgraded side was removed, but there was no offer to replace it with something else, so she ended up having her meal without a side at all. When we booked it, we were asked if there was a special occasion, and I clicked an anniversary, as we were celebrating 20 years that night. I didn't bring it up during the meal, but I'm curious why it's even asked on the reservation page, as it wasn't mentioned once during our evening. Not a big deal, but it just seemed to add to the little things we experienced. This was our second time in the last few months trying Montana's. The first was a disaster, and while this time was much better, and what they did well was terrific, there are still too many little issues for the price you pay. We will likely not go back.

This was our "first" restaurant visit since the onset of Covid-19. We had a great meal and it was the perfect place to take our young grandson. We had so much fun and I could not eat all the good on my plate (the chicken wing and rib combo is a soooooo good!). We will definitely return soon
