    The steak for 40$ was horrible. We let the server know and she gave us a discount but it was barely eaten. Food was ok

    Good food. Would have liked a little more attention from servers, no one at table was offered refills on waters or drinks. Cutlery had to be replaced as some items were not clean. Only saw the server three times throughout meal. Once for drinks and appetizer order, once for meal order, last time to pay bill.

    My family really enjoyed our night at Nisku, it wasn't noisy, we could have conversations without raising our voices. My meal was all brought out in timely , they let us finished our starters, cleared the table so it wasn't overcrowded. Not one bad meal, everyone was more than happy.

    I had the 10 ounce steak and it had lots of gristle and not very flavorful. Definitely not worth $28. I should’ve stuck to the brisket that I normally get.

    Service was terrible. We sat with menus for 20 minutes and had to flag someone down to get service. We saw a family get up and leave because they didn’t get any service either. Food was really good though but it took over an hour from arrival until we got it. We had to ask for our bill as we waited another 20 minutes after we were done.

    The food was excellent and the service was adequate. Our only complaint is that there is no sign on the building to let you know there is in fact an excellent restaurant inside the motel. Otherwise we would have been eating here sooner.

    Went two nights in a row and ordered the steak both times - it came out so tender and perfectly done, it was wonderful! There were plenty of options for my wife and I and our 7 yr old daughter despite the limited menu for COVID. Great place!

    Wife’s birthday and Valentine’s Day supper and they made it a day we wouldn’t forget especially since I told them it was my wife’s bday and the brought out a set of giant moose antler had and made her wear it while singing happy bday to her

    We made the Reservation through Open Table. We told the Server when we were seated but she didn’t check us in. We called the next day & the manager was able to resolve the issue for us Otherwise this is a nice restaurant & our server was attentive. Montana’s needs more signage. We were not sure where the restaurant was. It’s inside the Hotel & cross a Bridge. But additional signage would help when you don’t know the place.

    Disappointing that they had run out of different beers and bottled beverages at the Nisku Montana’s . They didn’t even have root beer for my nephew so had to get him a bottle. The waitress indicated in passing that the kitchen was a mess. That was maybe too much information. I did book for a birthday and it was not acknowledged. We did see an older gentleman get mad at the waitress for trying to put a hat with antlers on him for birthday celebrations. How many heads has that hat been on? Best not to have items that can transfer bacteria/viruses to the next patron.

    Nisku has a new restaurant that will take you by surprise. Walking into the Nisku Inn, which has just completed a renovation, past the check in desk you see Montana's through the glass enclosure. Greeted by the friendly staff at its entrance you are quickly seated either in the sports bar or the restaurant. As always, the brown paper awaits you to be greeted by your server who always writes their name upside down. Quick to take your drink order they are then ready to take meal order. In a short time, your hot meal has arrived. Excellent food as always and family friendly. My family will be back...

    Overall it is a good venue, the island being removed has taken away from its original classic design which has down graded it a lot. Montana,s name is the draw and not the restaurant design. It is not as good as other Montana restaurant but it is convenient for people staying at the hotel.

    Taking out the island has taken away from the overall appearance of the court area. The renervation has made this venue the same as any other hotel. Montana’s is noisey, the nisku inn was a recognized quality hotel with a very nice center court yard.
