The server while congenial, was uncertain of inventory, they were out of most bottled bear. First order of Ribs was slow even though it was all you can eat rib night. Eventually in their favour the manager compted the only beer they had.

If you want good service Rob was an excellent server. Five stars for him. I had the deep fried pickles which I found too sour and too wet. Also had the spinach dip and pita chips, the dip was too salty and the chips were unbearable to chew as they we're not soft nor crunchy. Two stars for food. I will visit again but avoid those two options.

The food was not great. The vegetables were not cooked, they were still hard and not properly cleaned. Stems were everywhere. The portion size was very poor. Not worth the money.

My two friends and I had a good time at Montana's last night. Our server Matt (??) was pleasant and friendly although he seemed quite busy. I love eating at Montana's and have taken friends there for their birthdays.

Excellent service by Kevin! Perfect food. But I miss the potatoes’ skin as appetizer. Also I will suggest to have the choice of fajitas with beef, not only chicken. The Rickard’s Red draft is so great in a cold mug! Perfect! Thks a lot for a great meal!

Steak was way too small, the potato was bland, and the beans were cold. Worst meal I ever had for thirty dollars, I would compare it to prison food.

We were greeted immediately at the door and taken to our seats (we'd made a reservation) The hostess and the server were very polite and friendly. Drinks came right away, followed shortly by the appetizers. We had plenty of time to enjoy the great spinach dip before our meals started to come out. The food was great, as always. Server was attentive but didn't bother us. All in all, a great visit. We'll go back for sure!

I ordered the chicken bean/rice bowl. It said on the menu it came with tortilla chips, but I never received any. That was disappointing. My daughter had the fish and chips, and the piece of fish was very very small, it was about 2 “ in size. It was surprising because in the past the portion sizes of the meals was always very good. Not sure what’s happened at Montanas.

Montana'a BBQ & Bar in Nepean was a pleasant surprise. The decor may be a bit tired but it somehow suits Montana's. Where it gets five stars is the quality and value in their food fare. I chose the $30 strip loin steak... ten ounces, cooked to order and done to perfection, with a large baked potato and Cole Slaw as sides. My husband chose 2-piece fish & chips, which were well-portioned, nicely breaded and accompanied by fries and Cole Slaw. Both meals were excellent. Our server was polite, fairly attentive and helped make the meal memorable. Overall, Montana's BBQ & Bar in Nepean earned a well-deserved four plus stars. We'll dine there again soon.
