Very disappointing. Ribs were over cooked and dry. French fries were cold, and like chewing on a piece of rope. The waitress was apologetic and very professional. It is not her fault, and I told her so. The manager tried to make things right by offering me another meal. I was already disgusted and wanted none of it.

We visited Montana's on Thursday August 3rd for my Mom's birthday and had a fabulous experience. From the moment we walked in the door the friendliness and service level was outstanding. Our Server Ryland was excellent and tended to our every need. The food came out quickly and was hot and very flavorful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!

We have enjoyed Montana's in the past, but our latest visit wasn't the best. It was busy, which of course we expected it to be for a Saturday evening, we were seated right away as we did the online reservation. Our waitress was friendly and kind, and trying her best, but you could tell she was extremely busy. It appeared they may of been short staffed, and therefore too many tables per waitress. Our 3 year olds meal was forgotten when food came out, and then instead of her correct food the waitress gave us the kids pasta from the tables next to us, as they made theirs incorrectly.. this slightly bothered us, as it's wasn't the Alfredo pasta she had asked for, it was buttered noodles and absolutely drenched in butter. (And also since it was previously brought out to another table we were a bit off set that we would even be offered there refused plate, we weren't sure if they had touched it or what.. which grossed us out.) Our 3 year old was upset it wasn't Alfredo pasta, and said it was gross so we sent it back and asked for the correct pasta, which we were given 5 or so mins later, but by this time the rest of us had completed our meals. Overall it was just a disappointing meal out, my husband and my meals weren't the best we've had from there. And due to them appearing short staffed the care, attention, and over all service wasn't the greatest.

We really enjoy Montana's - everyone in the group has several favourites, and I really appreciate that they accomodate me being Celiac. Can be verybusy and a bit noisy - but that just shows how popular it is, really! You just have to know that goin in - and we find it almost never affects the service or quality of food. So glad Montana's is on Open Table now - very convenient.

I hadn’t been to Montanas for a long period of time and my grandson 15, who is blind loves it there! We’ve tried a few times but always a line-up so this I reserved a table for 2 on line and it was perfect where sat us. Everyone was very kind. The only thing I would change is to have a Braille menu (there are Restaurants in Red Deer who do) and it’s great because he’s a very independent young man so it’s nice for him to be able to read the menu. Service was slow. Had to wait for cutlery for 5 mins after our food was delivered. One meal had tomatoes in it but did not say it came with them on the menu. My dinner was more expensive on the bill than stated in the menu and I did not have any add ons to it. Overall it was meh.

We asked for a specific booth in our reservation and did not get it. A family walking in just ahead of us were given the last window booth and we got an apology. Kids at the next table were throwing food on the floor and instead of cleaning it up, the staff (and other patrons) were simply walking through it. Disgusting. We will not go back to this restaurant.

We haven't been to Montana's for a number of years and we were pleasantly surprised. Our table ranged in age from 12 to 75. The menu, which was new since we were last there, had something for everyone. The guys especially enjoyed the ribs and the beef brisket bun. All of our food was excellent

We came Thursday at 6:45. We sat on the bar side in a booth and was surprisingly quiet and not overwhelming with people in there, even the hockey game was on. Food was SUPER quick and absolutely delicious, we ordered the rib and wing combo and spinach dip for an appy. Caesar drink was the best I’ve had in awhile and came in a cute mason jar. Lastly, server was nice and helpful and quick on her feet. Also, a gentlemen helped out as well with our dirty dishes when our server was busy somewhere else. Overall 10/10 experience and we were in and out within about 1 hour and 30 mins. We will be returning again!
